I was greeted as I stood in front of counter waiting for my turn, ( about 1 min ). The young man took my name and found I have rented w/ them in the past. He just confirmed my information and I was on my way, I was emailed directions on how to use the tow dolly along with my agreement. The young man then hooked up the dolly & performed a light check. I thanked the employee for excellent customer service and knowledge, total customer satisfaction.

You charged me a whole day extra for being an hour late and also charged me for insurance without asking if I wanted insurance for the second day. Your terms and conditions on my receipt did not say any of this. I will not rent from U-Haul again.

The only complaint that I had was that I was given the wrong key in the self check out. Fernando was very gracious and fixed the key issue, and he also removed the charge for the furniture pads. The gentleman who checked me out was extremely kind and polite, And I actually got a credit for the gasoline that I did not use. Overall, it was a good experience.

This is my go-to location for moving, and I tend to move often due to a snowbird nature. The team at this location is always helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra “mile” to make sure everything works out well. They never try to up sell; they just make sure you have everything you need.

The person I dealt with was very condescending and rude. The equipment was very dirty and had to be washed out twice and still wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. When I reached my destination, the dirty grey dust covered all my belongings. Some Uhauls are really good but AZ has some that are the worst.

Above and beyond; truly thankful. I rented a uhaul a few times and a couple storages during my move. I bought packing materials and even used a third party through their moving services; who were also wonderful. I highly recommend and will be using for next move. U-Haul also offers labor help, which we used to sign up two helpers to lift three pieces of furniture into the truck. They coordinated w us right up until the morning of... then told us they would be 4 to 5 hours late. Completely unsatisfactory, we had to find last minute help from another source that made us two hours late and required lots of schedule renegotiating w all involved parties. Very unprofessional.

I have been going to the Ina Road location for over 20 years. It has always been a great experience. And this last rental experience was seamless. I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. During a difficult time in my life, I had to face the fact that I had to move everything I owned to Arizona. It was a difficult journey from the start. But once I got here, while still challenging, the entire staff made me feel welcome, went out of their way to accommodate me in every possible way that they could. My unit was infested with pack rats, spiders, and roaches. Due to a rotted seal under the door, it also allowed summer storms to blow water, dirt, and debris into the front of my unit. The seal was fixed, but the damage (mostly from rats) was already done.

The staff at the Ina location were superb. After having tried to change a reservation to a more convenient location, when we arrived at 8:45 to sign the papers, we waited until 930 and nobody arrived at the Benson Street location. There were at least 10 people waiting For the staff to arrive at that location. I called Christopher and Fernando at the Ina location were exceedingly helpful in getting us into a storage unit at their facility without any trouble at all. We were on a very strict schedule and needed the process to go as smooth as possible as we were returning to New Mexico the same day. Highly recommend this location. Cannot say terribly impressed being driven to the app with every call. The app is buggy.

Seamless from front desk to rented truck and storage rooms. The front desk was on point! Answered all my questions and got us out the door with a truck and a locking climate controlled storage unit. The truck was clean and 100% prepared.

It went from about $165, 175, 190 by the end and when I tried to contact the facility about the continue price increase on the letter mailed home I was routed multiple times and never received a call back.

I rented here for 25 months on autopay during a multistate move.My review is based on Chris the store manager, he was great from the beginning, he is super helpful, friendly and does a great job caring for the customer. My last interaction with the Asst Mgr would be zero stars due to the following: Upon preparing to move out, on the 22nd of March I was fully paid until the 5th of April, the assistant Mgr. left a rude message on 3/23 at 12 noon saying she was going to get a locksmith to cut off my lock on my unit, and charge me $80.00 if I didn't return 3/23 and remove my lock. I didnt see her call until after hours, I called back, shocked, upset and confused; why would you threaten me, it's still my unit through 4/4, I fully intend to return and sweep out the unit where a small amount of smoker pellets spilled( there was no broom on site to borrow). She first defensively tried to tell me I had to be fully out and take my lock, once I explained that I was paid through next month, I was moving 15 days in advance, she'd realized she made a mistake, and apologized, however this was way out of line to make the call in the first place, checking records should be the first action before leaving a message that was intended to threaten a customer. I returned that evening to remove my lock on 3/23 and vacate a full 13 days in advance so I didn't have to deal with any futher interactions.

My overall experience was very good. Other than an occasional U-Haul truck being parked in the way and the gate card sometimes taking forever to get in or out of the complex, my biggest and really only concern was the numerous increases in the monthly rental fees.

The staff was hard working and very helpful. Only issue is that when I went to put things in my unit at the threshold of the door there is a ledge. NOT GOOD! Trying to lift loaded carts over the threshold was awful. Items fell of carts on several occasions. Need to fill in with cement and smooth off so it is easy to roll cart into the building. Otherwise your employees at this location were super!!!

When booking, I was under the impression that our unit was a drive up. When we arrived at 5am to unload our truck, we discovered that it was an interior unit, with a three and a half inch lip at the door that made dollying our belongings challenging. The awesome upside was that the interior was air conditioned so we didn’t roast.

The unit was not clean, not only with dust and spiderwebs but with some artificial leaves left behind by previous tenant. One of your male employees is rude and seems to be always angry without any reason to respond or deal with the customer in that manner. The only option we wanted to go with happened to have an indoor temp controlled unit for us. The staff was very helpful and answered all questions. The facility was taken care of and leaving our belongings there was a safety you can't put a price on. We had no issues with insects or critters residing in our items (though we did use totes and not boxes (highly recommend) due to the upkeep and spraying they did. You could see the bodies of the deceased after they sprayed on the outside of the units confirming they do indeed do what they can within their control. Not a complaint, just fact. The carts they supply made the move in and out much easier then if we had to foot it all in/out by hand. The temp control always seemed to work when we would go to the unit and nothing molded or got musty. Granted all items you plan to leave should be taken in consideration, though this would still be my first choice if that option wasn't available.

I had reserved a storage unit about 5 days before I arrived. When I got to the storage facility, there was a lock on the storage unit. No one explained what the lock was but when they opened the unit, it was empty minus dirt and a ton of dead giant beetles. The staff was friendly and helpful, just kind of terrifying seeing giant dead bugs before I store my stuff in there..

Moving and relocating across 1500 miles is hard enough, this Uhaul facility was great! The Manager was so nice in helping us acquire our storage unit right at the same site that we returned our rental truck,, made it far less stressful.we had such a good experience with the dropping off of our uhaul and learning that we got 1 month of storage included in the price made a huge difference as did the friendly and helpful staff made this experience the best possible.

Out of 3 storage units only 1 was satisfactory. The seal on unit 2 was so poor that all of our belongings were covered in 1/4 inch of dirt. Unit 3 was filled with bugs sooo many bugs that it was apparent pest control is not being used.

When I scheduled this, I was told over the phone the drop off and my storage unit would be Oracle Road. I called back the day before I was arriving and they said that’s not what’s in the system. They sent me to Golf Links for storage but when I got there, there was no unit available for me. Finally, when I was redirected to Ina Rd., I was still given a hard time before finally receiving the smallest possible unit to store the contents of your 6x12 trailer. Poorly managed expectations and underwhelming delivery/execution of service. Overpromised and under delivered. To add insult to injury, I was unable to access any online platform to return trailer and have to return again during business hours to tell them I left a trailer in their lot. The only rental on my account is the storage unit and despite talking with the local scheduling manager, I was not easily able to remove the trailer or check it back in.

All I can find is Sonia Weaver on my receipt I’m not sure if that was the lady that I had dealt with but she was very frustrated and huffing/puffing the entire time. Her and another worker were complaining about someone not cleaning up the storage unit I had reserved. To me that is unprofessional and doesn’t need to be talked about in front of customers. She told me she will have it cleaned out by 3. I had arrived after 3 & the unit was untouched. My fiancé had to go ask for a broom and a male worker told my fiancé to wait so he can ask if the manager wanted him to clean it out & a female worker said “no he can clean it himself” that is very rude! Pisses me off more that I gave Sonia the extra time to have it cleaned just to have my fiancé clean it out instead. Not happy with my first experience dealing with a storage place.

My overwhelming primary purpose/need for a storage unit was to have a place 2 park 2 excellent like new condition motorcycles inside and to be able to access and drive them daily. However i was informed by the GM of the facility that Uhaul corporate policy precludes motorcycles from storage units unless the machine is drained of all fluids and the batteries removed. Therefore mt uhaul storage unit was worthless to me. That is an absolutely ridiculous overly conservative policy rule. I then comparison shopped across 8 other storage facilities in the vicinity . not one of them had any rule against storing motorcycles.

Customer service was great at first then at the end terrible. I order blanket and they moved the order to oracle location no communication. So ended up using no blankets.

All the staff were super nice and very helpful. They explained to me the easiest way to unload my trailer and make sure we didn't block anyone's way. The facility was way clean and the unit I received was also very well cleaned.

After cancelling in-person I began receiving late penalty notices. When I called and spoke to the manager, I was told to disregard notices. Now receiving pre-lien notices and nobody calls back.
