STEVEN GThe person who checked me in did not do her job at 5:00 pm on 5/26/25. I had to call at 7:30 the next day, the store would not answer so I had to talk to someone in the call center. They told me I would get a call from the store. Guess what, no call but an email at 2:20 saying it was checked in today. Poor customer experience from the 84th and L street location. Guess I will pick a different location next time.

Was miserable. The location didn’t have another 15’ truck for 2 hours or so but who knows if that truck was ok and I couldn’t wait

Uhaul as an organization has gone so far down the micro transaction rabbit hole I would only recommend using them if they are literally the only option you have. Also, there should be laws against forcing people to take your scam ass insurance, which was not optional. Quit your bullshit uhaul.
PERRY BDuring return after hours tht mobile app and website would not allow me to sign in or create an account. It kept giving me a generic error. Luckily I was able to access a link from the original booking email which showed me to go through the return process. Hours later the several attempts I made to sign in, I finally got the single sign on coffee texted to me, so your system was having some problems last night that may need to be looked into

RICHARD DMy reservation at U-haul was for the Council Bluffs, location somehow. Or for some reason, it was changed to the 86th of L location. Pretty far out of the way for where I was going and what I was using the dolly for in the future. If a reservation is made, it should be kept at that location and not moved..
BRYAN TI was very disappointed that our trailer had several inches of snow in it. It has snowed 5 days earlier and apparently that wasn’t enough time for them to remove the snow. Thankfully we were going somewhere with a shovel so we could clean it before putting our furniture in it. Also, the alley where you pick up the trailer is very poorly maintained. If you are going to require the customers to help push the trailer, the heat you could do is make sure the ground isn’t icy. Also, maybe fill a few of the holes in the ground so cars don’t get stuck.

They had it booked when I was returning the vehicle. I needed to have it while I was unloading it into your storage unit, but the dispatch booked it the wrong dates I had to come back an extra day and I’m self-employed and value my time and also had to have my help come back. It was an inconvenience and then I have spoke to multiple people in your department. I get transferred multiple places I got transferred to Somebody in the main Marketing last name. Douglas left him five messages over five week. Period of time with no callback and then called and spoke to a Joshua in the same marketing department that your dispatch team told me they’re the people that do the credits. I have not received any credit to my account and I’m going to mark that transaction as fraud.

On two occasions, I asked different staff members to clean a sticky material that had been spilled in front of my storage unit, but no action was taken. Indeed the vicinity of my unit was not swept of other litter. In general, however, the facility was clean. I left U Haul even though I was had been there 14 years, longer than anyone else, because U Haul prices were no longer competitive and management did not have the flexibility to entice me to stay because of corporation rules.... all the best.

Although he was super busy on top of the crappy weather rolling in, he was still very polite, friendly & he made the process smooth & swift. I came the next day because we needed a last minute unit. Amanda was very helpful & professional. I was worried since it wasn't a pull up unit. She told me to check it out & if I'd prefer a pull up she can assist me with that. Before we were finished Chance came in. They both had a smile on their face the whole time. Eventhough a few things were last minute & I still had to have the U-Haul back by 4pm they were more than happy to help. Their positive attitude, willingness to help & quick service made both day more tolerable & less stressful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Tried to take photos of our vehicle for our initial survey and it would not accept, so we had to just forfeit filling out the preliminary surgery because then it timed out. The lights were totally out in our hallway which I understand totally happens, but was so dark we had a lot of trouble safely putting our furniture away. Very inconvenient as a whole experience and made the day stressful.

I was provided a fob for this gate but turned it in three times because it didnt work. Found out final week of my lease no one had bothered to enter all of the correct numbers. No cameras, securing the property of the people utilizing your service. Anyone can walk in at all hours of night. I will not use this site again!

He (GM) was kind enough to let me know he is refunding me the 15.00 late fee that was incurred in November on my account because the notice of late payment was mailed to my old address. He also listened to my concerns and reassured me he would work to communicate his expectations to his employees. I rented a pick up truck from Enterprise to collect my items. I do not plan on using Uhaul in any capacity moving forward. Which is unfortunate considering Uhaul was my preferred brand and I recommended them to everyone I knew. That all ended thanks to the poor customer service at this location. I sold my house in April and had to move 4 separate times for work. Moving forward I'll keep using 2 men in a truck / black belt movers / penske /enterprise. I'll also be renting from Dino's or Armor Storage as I have done in the past. Saturday afternoon when I stopped at the L street location, there were 2 females behind the counter talking with each other. When they finally finished their non work related concersation, the smaller one asked how she could help me. I told her I had a free rental and would like a 10 x 15 rental inside if there was one available. She got up, walked to the wall behind her, pulled a sheet of paper out of a container on the wall and proceeded to study it. After about 5 minutes she said sorry we don't have any 10 x 15 units inside. We only have outside units. I told her I didn't want an outside unit and asked what was available inside. She studied the paper again for a long while then said there was one 10 x 15 unit on the second floor and an 8 x 10. I explained we had heavy furniture so the unit on the second floor wouldn't work and that we had too much for an 8 x 10. I then asked her if we took the 10 x 15outside unit could we check back and switch to an inside unit if one came available inn the next week. She said no, not when it is the free rental. I told her I would wait and talk to my boyfriend who was meeting me at the locatioon. When he arrived about 5 minutes later" we wnt inside. The two girls were on their way out the door and said we have to check a truck so you can wait if you want bub it will ve awhile. We needed a unit so we gad no chiice but to wait. Thankfully, a third male employee came into the office at that time. He immediately greeted us, asked how he could help and within 2 minutes had a 10 x 15 indoor unit pulled up on the computer to rent to us. Not sure if th e first female employee was just too lazy to help us or just not trained??? Any 45 minutes after arriving, we finally had a first floor unit. A manager might want to also speak to the 2 female employees and remind them to limit their personal conversations while customers are waiting and to avoid making comments like Ugh not another truck to check in. Oh God, now there are two . Crap.
