There Is employee working in that Branch 3101 S. Orlando Dr Sanford FL 32773 , 1- he does not have any respect for Customer he said F-Word front of me many times 2- he Does not have Uniform - he wear like underwear shirt 3- he made many mistake on My reservation when he create it for me then he send me another location 3- he had Truck 10' and told me it is not available . then I found they have like 4 truck available . then he give me one - 4 de does not Help at all 5- he send me to look for the truck number my self. I feel throwing up when every time I have to rent from that Location . we need good People Please.

Racheal CMy pickup location was changed to here without my knowledge and I had to put more miles on the truck to get it here. This was way out of my way when the location I chose was directly next to my storage unit. I wanted to make sure I spoke with a person at return so I would know how much I would be getting back and the location was closed so that added extra inconvenience it also still charged me for gas when it matched what the reading was at pickup this whole experience was very frustrating and disappointing and makes me never want to use uhaul for services. Customer service wouldn’t even assist and wanted to make me wait until the following morning which would essentially mean less refund and I had no use to hold on to the uhaul as it was already emptied. Provided me with the option to either PAY for using the incorrect drop off location (which wasn’t my fault as I chose winter springs food mart for drop off which I had emails showing this) or wait until the next day
Nicole VIt was NOT clear where the night time key drop off was. The link provided in the website for this step shows an orange box on a yellow poll, but instead it was a small hole in the window with a modest sized nondescript sign that indicated it was the drop off area. I wasted several minutes looking. (This is my only reason for the 4 star instead of 5)

Luis cSunday when trying to return the van before the location opened, we had a problem with the website which would not allow us to give the location of the drop off. So we had to go thru different channels to get answers on how to resolve the problem. But everything else worked out fine as far as the equipment. Thank you.

Robert BConfirmed rental for the Orange city location and was extremely disappointed when I arrived there and was told they did not have the equipment and I would have to drive to Sanford to pick up my truck and dolly. This took me additional time and additional mileage fee. I should’ve been notified beforehand that the pick up was at a different location.

I’m thankful an employee happened to be outside and was able to walk me through how to actually login to both keypads. Then once I arrived there was a lock on my unit and I could not get in. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and helped me a different unit right away. Once at the new unit there was no lock inside of the unit. I called the front desk and another gentleman brought me the lock and key right away. Even though the process of getting in had its hiccups, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I truly appreciate all of their help.

I turned and called U-Haul and the staff was more than happy to help get me a truck and get her a unit. They had a truck and unit ready for her to use within 20 minutes of me calling and showing up and fill out all the paperwork.

The office staff ~ Jackie ~ was unprofessional, rude, argumentative, lacked knowledge of customer service, didn't have some basics of renting units, and NEEDS TO BE FIRED. What changed my mind about leaving a VERY bad review was the FANTASTIC General Manager John Rivera. John was attentive to my concerns and displeasure with my experience. He listened without dismissing me as another irate woman. He is helping me set up storage for my future need and has set up my auto pay account. He gave me his business card with his direct contact phone to address future issues. He totally changed my mind and made it possible to overlook the bad and see that this facility is a very good place to store my entire household of furniture.

Dawn B | Online Move InI rented a CLIMATE CONTROLLED 10 x 20 space and after having paid for movers, a 26’ truck and moving the majority of my belongings in, I found out when the temperature was 93° that the AC unit is NOT working and had not been working for quite some time (given to me on good authority of the employees on duty). I have yet to have received a return phone call from Mr. Tom Burns. I have requested that this matter be resolved as this was not disclosed to me prior to my moving in. I expect financial compensation and assistance in relocating my personal belongings should this matter not be resolved I will continue to contact U-Haul until SOMEONE w the authority to resolve this hears the misrepresentation of U-Haul , and a violation of their own policy that they say/post climate control is between 65 and 85° at all times. I made every effort to resolve this matter, however the employees on duty have no authority to provide an honorable resolution and I was unable to reach Mr. Tom Burns via a phone or text message. I expect U-Haul to right their wrong w integrity as a well known statewide company

They refused to prorate my bill even though I didn't use the facility for a full month by over a week. They rarely billed me the correct amount. There were many issues from the beginning in 2020. One major one being them giving away my reservation and then my units needed to copensate were split far apart bc they messed up so I had to condense my eventually units onto one, then i still wasnt billed the lesser amount for one unit though they said they fixed it, they never did. I will NEVER EVER EVER use uhaul again and I will tell others the same thing. If your company really cares and these annoying surveys actually mean anything, I will be given some sort of compensation for all the excess time I've wasted over the years trying getting this fixed. My time is valuable too. Having to use up the little energy I had dealing with John Rivera ( I think that's the owners name) or trying to get a hold of him with no call backs unless I contacted HIS superiors was exhausting and unnecessary. In all fairness after that call to his supervisor, John the Mgr DID get a locksmith at his expense to fix a faulty lock they sold me. After much insistence from me. But the other issues ALWAYS persisted. I give this place a C- in rating just bc of how it's haphazardly and unprofessionally run and the poor billing standards.

JEWETT S | Overall ExperienceNothing in the online literature mentions that the front sliding doors to then building close at 7pm with the front of the U-Haul rental area. I had big bulky items that needed to be wheeled on a cart using a ramp and I had to enter from the back of the building, then walk all the way through to the elevator in the front of the building, struggling with my items through the narrow doorways, to then have to walk back through the entire building to get to my unit. It was physically exhausting, frustrating and difficult. If the building is accessible it needs to be fully accessible. Further, I called the phone number on all the signage for assistance and nobody answered nor did they return my phone call. The emergency call boxes didn’t work either, no one answered. Finally i found the number for the alarm company and was able to finally reach a person. I almost cancelled my unit then but it was too late to return my stuff to where it came from. Very unprofessional and concerning that non of the emergency communications function. It does not fill me with confidence for the safety of the facility.

I thought I might use it for a couple of months, it turned out to be 7 months. I first noticed now clean the facility was and choose several climate controlled rooms, I’m glad I did. I could always enter knowing that it was fairly secure and well lit. I was very pleased with the facility, and it’s pleasant personnel.

This was extremely poorly run. Paid way too much for the worst service.

Then someone there would say we don't do that here try this branch. Then I drive there and they would say oh no we don't have that here try this other place. That happened at least 4 time thru out my reservation. But over all I had the trailer I needed and the personal at the branches were very friendly.

Local storage site did not acknowledge this information. I tried calling the site multiple times per day and it always rang over to national calling center. Spoke to several different people at call center. Then I started getting late payment notices and I continued to try to call the local site to resolve this issue and every time I called site, it went to national calling center which said they would take care of it but didn't. Finally when I had time, I went back to site and was the only customer. There were two people working at the counter. The phone was ringing continuously and they ignored it. Told the worker about the issue and they closed account and said I should talk to the manager about this. Tried to talk to Walt and he was condescending and did not seem to care about the issue, the fact that his staff don't answer the phones, etc. I have used U-haul other times and never had an issue. Hopefully, this is just localized to this one site. I rented the storage unit for several years. Over the time I rented, the place deteriorated. The gates for access to the building stopped working and gates and fencing were removed. The doors to the storage building often did not shut correctly allowing access to anyone who desired. There were only four carts for unloading (had been at least twice that many when I first started renting there) and when I asked staff a while back about this, they said that customers keep breaking or taking them and they weren't planning on replacing them. Hopefully this is just an issue with this center. I would still use U-haul based on other experiences but would never go back to this site or recommend anyone to this local site as the place has deteriorated significantly and manager does not care.

So I had to put my boxes and furnitures through the other door but it was difficult because it wasn’t a flat floor. I really had a hard time putting my stuff inside the storage. I asked 10x10x10 and they gave me 2 of 5x5 and it was in a 2nd floor. I really wanted 1 floor and 10x10x10. No one told me that they was going to do that to me if not I would of have canceled it. I’m not happy with this service. Also when I was talking to a customer representative about changing the date and she had me on hold for good 15 minutes while I was driving from New Jersey to Florida. That really was a bad service.

Biggest frustration is that you have to go to storage facility since the phones almost always roll over to a U-Haul operator who tries to help by sending messages to the manager however they are never read.
