Location was great. The manager was very helpful. The online reservation and app are complete trash. It was supposed to be a mobile pickup but when we arrived they didn’t have a truck assigned to us and wanted us to call and wait on hold for 10-15 minutes. Very frustrating after I had already been relocated from my original location request. Then the app wouldn’t upload the pictures it just kept spinning and timing out.

graviel mTell the customer straight up for certain vehicles they only do a credit card only instead of telling them you can pay cash when you come back. And they sent me an email next time I’m gonna get a paper receipt because I don’t see no receipt on my email.

Angela LTook forever to get to a person at the counter. One person and five people in line. Finally someone else came out to help. The truck needs ball joints as it wandered all over the road. Mirror would not stay in place. Return was great and they had plenty of staff.
RACHEL LIt was the first time renting a trailer from U-Haul so wasn’t sure about the process. They were very thorough about helping locate exactly what I needed and made it easy and quick when picking up and dropping off. The trailer was heavy duty and reasonable to rent. It was the best deal I found from checking around other places.

MICHAEL WThe only thing I had an issue with was the website for self check in was not working correctly and I had to go in to talk to an associate to get the truck. I did not mind waiting, but they were very busy and only one guy behind the counter. Kind of defeats the purpose of self check in.
LAUREN BCustomer service rep (Lea) who checked me in was excellent & she explained things in deptth to make sure I understood. Make at the time of drop-off needs training on speaking to the customer. He didn't say anything except I need the keys, I has to ask questions & he acted as if he didn't want to answer & only nodded his head. I kinda had to figure out the process on my own.

I was away from Louisville working for a month straight. The facility did not auto deduct my debit card, and when I did not make it in, because I was out of town, they cancelled my unit. Nice person when I checked in, but not understanding of my situation.

This is the second time I've gone there and had to wait 30+ minutes to get my rental because the internet kept going down. It's 2025. Get that fixed!
Nathan MI wouldn’t rent from that location again, not organized or sympathetic about a person situation. I had purchased services on the 27th and I had to come back on the 28th and the 29th for equipment that was told to me was there for reservation that wasn’t when I went to go pick it up. Then I got charged twice for deposit when I only made one reservation unorganized is all I have to say.Not only wasted travel time it push me back a day of where I had to be at. But as the representative at LOU said it’s not her problem that the person did return trailer back in time but I had reservation for it.
KAREN BMy reservation location was changed multiple times with at the last minute. My truck size was changed multiple times (not by choice) at the last minute. I was changed to a self service pickup within 1 hour of my reservation time, yet I was not setup for self service. U-Haul has the worst pickup experience. How do you allow me to rejt a truck and pick a location when that truck does not exist and the location does not exist?
David HNot much. The vehicle was in perfect condition other than the brake were quite squeaky on the ride to my destination.

Mary TUpon arrival, they received the equipment, but it was raining and they didn't let me in to hand in the reservation paperwork and receive the equipment. The person who attended me told me not to enter, that it was online. I called Huall and they told me that the equipment wasn't in the system. They told me that they would call tomorrow so that the staff who receive it could put it in the system.

Then I was given a $50 credit and charged all the mileage for picking up and returning the truck to a different location further from the original.

The Staff was especially accommodating. This is my first experience using a storage facility and I am thankful for the staff for making it a good one.

JESSE MThe tow trailer we got was not there when we arrived to pick up. Had to wait 30 minutes for it to get there. When I went to put my car on the tow trailer the straps were both very frayed and short. This made it almost impossible to thread the straps into the slot on the ratchet in the freezing ice & snow. One strap came off while driving and I had to trim the fray, as well as singe the edges to be able to re-thread it. When we got to our destination, one ratchet would not release the strap. I had to cut it to get the car off the trailer. As a first time uhaul renter I was very disappointed.

REBECCA SWhy make the customer wait until they get there to do a 20-30 minute pick up and drop off process. The pick up process specifically. I could’ve done all that before I got there but you want me to submit documents and then someone to review my documents after I get there? It was hard to find pick up and drop off options on the website. The site would load for 5 minutes after I hit submit on a page , then I would end have having to reload the page because the page got stuck in the loading state, and I would have to refill the page again. The whole process of picking up and dropping off was grueling and a poor user experience.

I liked that it was a climate controlled space however upon getting my things out of storage it was covered with like a sticky insulation type residue. I had to wipe off all of my things stored. I do feel as though I should’ve gotten a refund due to the fact that I was always on time with my payments and it shouldn’t have mattered that I did or didn’t give notice before I took them out. My last payment I made like a week ahead of time, a week and a half. As I said before it was an average experience and in the future I hope that I won’t have to store my things again.

A simple issue that could be handled in minutes would take days. It took two days to confirm my moving out, something that could have been done in seconds.

Wendi W | Overall ExperienceI’ve already told a friend about how good this moving experience was. The staff who processed our truck and storage rentals we’re friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We felt like the design of the Self-Storage solutions facility was pretty well thought out. The elevator should be tweaked just a bit though, so that the door stays open about 20 - 25 seconds longer. In one instance of loading to go upstairs, the door closed on my sister’s arm as she tried to wave it back open for another customer. The main thing that kept me from selecting the “Excellent” rating is the need for more flatbed carts. This particular location needs at least two more of them. As we experienced, five or six families trying to achieve the transportation of belongings with just 3 flat carts and a mattress cart added on to the stress of moving.

Leslie N | Overall ExperienceThe facility was great, is brand new so is expected. And the staff was very helpful in person. But upon checkout and clearing my unit they charged me 2 more months rent. I called numerous times ( no less than 10 separate occasions) only to be immediately put on hold without even being able to get a word out. I would stay on hold from 10 to over 30 min with never being able to speak to anyone. It took me speaking with a separate customer service center 3 different occasions to resolve the issue. The store in question would’ve charged me a 3rd month if I hadn’t of removed my payment method from the system. Without the ability to speak with a separate customer service I would’ve never been able to get this resolved. My only option would’ve been to drive back to the storage facility and speak in person. Which at that point I had already moved hours away which I’m sure a good amount of those that empty a storage unit do.

Other wise they will take our stuff and put it out. So we lift the unit after just 30 days. Though we got charged for 2 other months. Once we kept receiving bills. Then we called uhaul and that's when we found out. That we had been missed lead. And now have a big unexpected bill.

Sharonda P | Online Move InThe guy who is the manager had a nasty attitude! Anytime we spoke or interacted with him he always seemed to be mean for no reason so I chose to match his energy. The very day we went there he was mad when we arrived at 6:15 pm although they didn’t close until 7:00 pm. He then started cussing and going off because he was supposed to been off earlier because “he had a date!” The unit was still under construction. We would call at least 5-6 times each time we wanted to access our unit to to see if someone could let us in. No one would answer the phone so we would have to physically go to the office then have someone to drive over to let us in. We never received an access code the entire time we was there. When I called to cancel the until someone answered and asked if I could hold and I literally sat on hold 28 minutes. I kept calling and calling and calling and finally someone from customer service answered and she tried calling the store as well and they wouldn’t answer for her. She put a note in the system for someone to call me so I could cancel the unit. About 3 hours later I finally got a call back. I would never rent a until with uhaul ever again, even if it was free! It’s just not worth the headache they put your through. It’s stressful enough being between homes, but uhaul just added another level of stress that wasn’t needed.

It still has major construction going on. There is stuff all over the facility that is unsafe and we had to try and bring all of our stuff into the unit very quickly because the lady was rude because we were late. Because nobody showed up to let us in and we were trying to work around that and the people helping us move. Just very unprofessional
