I rented a van when we return the van we put six dollars in there , when they checked it in they charged us for six dollars in gas said we did not fill it back to the line when going t it, We only drove the vehicle for 13 miles. We told them their meters on the paper have to be wrong because there’s no way that we used $13 worth of gas and only drove the vehicle for 13 miles. We did a three hour window to return it because we knew it was something simple we needed to do we brought it back on time that was fine, but when I asked the gentleman to tell me how in God‘s green earth, it could charge me $6 more to fill up a vehicle That we only used for 13 miles he told me that I should’ve took a picture of the gas tank to be able to prove that their measurements was incorrect that does not seem right to me. Tried to call him back later because when I left there, I was very upset. Asked to speak to him was on the phone holding for at least five minutes or longer, so I just hung up so their customer service to me sucks it doesn’t make sense. There’s no way in God green earth that we took a vehicle and only drove it 13 miles there and back And put gas in it before we bought it back. Have the receipt for the six dollars and then they charged us six dollars more just doesn’t add up. To me the proper thing to do would have been maybe our measurements was incorrect because anybody would know that 13 miles does not equal almost $13 worth of gas we put six in and then they charged us six dollars and some additional change when we got back. I even asked him how many miles did we drive it because we estimated 15 he told me 13 I said what does that make sense to you and that’s when I was told you should’ve took a picture of the gas tank. Well in my book lesson learned and consumer beware of people who wanna cheat you at the U-Haul.

Herlesha R needs fired or some actual training. Not only did she pretend to be the general manager which is so unprofessional. She failed to provide basic customer service. This location is dirty and a maze. They don’t even tell you where your U-Haul is located you gotta wonder around and figure it out. If your expecting to utilize the dolly not only did they not put it in the truck but she blamed me for it not being there?!? Then upon checking the receipt it says $12 but there only $7 to rent why was I up charged? Then they lie and say the U-Haul was on full on your contract so you have to go back in for them to “notate” your account because they can’t provide your with a new accurate contact just so they can charge you for gas that never existed when you rented it. Even the mileage was off on my contract I don’t care if it was only 2 or 3 miles considering I gotta pay per mile! She found a way to get her extra money. All the guys in non U-Haul uniforms behind the counter is a unprofessional look and they need to learn to smile and greet people. If you can avoid going to this location please save yourself the headache.

I would like to praise Herlesha Russell on GREAT CUSOTMER. SERVICE during my rental process. I watched her take care of 2 seperate rentals at the same time because one of them needed alittle extra tlc when pick up process should have been completed. She was very professional and considerate. I have used this location a number of times. This time their system was not working. So, when I dropped the vehicle off about 2 1/2 hours after picking it up, they could not check it in. I am writing this review on Saturday morning, the day after I used the vehicle. I still have not received a receipt for the rental. The lady that waited on me was very nice. Not blaming her. My dissatisfaction was with the return processes and the fact the stores systems were not working and that I still have not received an invoice.

I rent trucks pretty often, and almost every time I get a U-Haul, the mileage is higher than the contract and/or the fuel is lower, making me pay for miles and fuel that I didn't use. The manager was great. My grievance is that the size I reserved wasn't there. I was taken to what looked to be the size of a closet. I had reserved a 3.5' x 7.5' x 7. What I was told was mine was significantly smaller. I had no choice to take the next size up. I just moved cross country and money is tight at the moment. Not happy that now I'm paying 200 a month for this(and frankly it's not worth it). I've already found a facility significantly cheaper and with the same features. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Self check out doesn’t make sense if you still have to go in 4+ times to: pick up keys (and jump the line which feels SO awkward), report that there the dolly you booked isn’t there (but a shattered cell phone is), be told to go outside to get a dolly but learn they don’t have any, go back inside to figure out how to get the dolly removed from your bill, and finally drop off keys. Ultimately, we got the job done, and all staff were friendly and timely. But the logistics were inefficient, and the truck truly smelled like a full diaper. So unpleasant.

The office was severely understaffed. Wait times were loooooooong for me and the line behind me. Though helpful, the agent who checked me on was very unprofessional. One irritation was her struggling to open up a bag of candy to munch on while talking to me and simultaneously talking to the staff next to her about how badly the day was going. Her demeanor was very indifferent, and did not communicate while I stood there waiting for her figure stuff out. It took forever to get my reservation straightened out, even though it was made well in advance. Not her fault that it had been a long day for me, getting a truck early in the morning, wanting to unload and go home. She never made it clear that I indeed would have a storage unit until the very end, which was a good 30 minutes. Poor professionalism, poor communication skills, and the place had a really third rate vibe.

I am very unhappy because when i rented this truck I was asked to buy insurance for the day and told it would cover everything. I slid into a snow bank when i arrived at my destination in NY and had to get a pick up with a wench to pull me out. U Haul said my insurance did NOT cover this but the guy who pulled me out said that in his experience U Haul always paid for this if the renter had taken out the insurance. The bill was $250 and I think U Haul should reimburse me for this. But, no one will answer my calls or let me speak to a manager. Ronn Richard. 216-337-1660

chose online check-in. the U-Haul app shut down mid-check in not allowing me to do any checks. Found vehicle and there were no keys inside it, so I had to go into the location. after waiting 30 minutes I got through the line and the employees said "oh here are your keys" after taking a couple minutes to find my order. Then once I received the vehicle it still had stone dust or something in the back, so it certainly was not cleaned before I got it. Additionally, the air did not work at all. The first day we had the vehicle it was manageable because we did not need the defroster. The second day it was un-usable but that was not found out until we had filled it so we, as quickly as we could, unloaded the vehicle and brought it to the store. While driving I had to constantly clean the windshield with a cloth as it froze over. When we got to the drop off, I used the app figuring that was okay. But we went in to ask for a day to be taken off and was made to feel stupid by the staff that we didn't return by 10 and that we returned on the app. it was just a very demoralizing experience for something that was out of our control. We were promised a refund of the second day, but I haven't seen it yet so I'm not going to hold my breath.

I was greeted promptly and the representative that helped me was very friendly and clear with instructions. The vehicle was clean but really tired. I rented a ten foot box truck that had 140,000 miles and drove like it. The right front wheel bearing is bad on that van and after 20 mph it screams so loud that you cannot hear transmission shifts and the stereo cannot be heard over the howl of the wheel bearing. I told the attendant that checked me out of the bad wheel bearing, he didn't seem terribly interested.

This location needs to get themselves together, one person told me one thing about returning the truck to be the keys in the cup holder and lock the door. I did and they are trying to charge me $125 for a key lost. I only did what they told me.

I was lucky enough to get a unit on the first floor. I don’t know if there’s an elevator on the lower floors but I hope so. I appreciate the ease of access and the temperature control. Gated units are more exposed to other people’s things which isn’t great but that’s not unique to this storage. The chain around the door was always extremely difficult to put a lock on. Still, I appreciated that it was well lit, the staff were always pleasant and helpful. One other thing - it seems like there’s always a long term vehicle right outside the doors, that is potentially blocking the loading zone. Sometimes two cars. I appreciate that the rental came with a lock in and of itself, and having that rolling flatbed cart on site was a HUGE help. I would recommend this place to others overall, unless they have physical accessibility issues. And if needed, I would use it again. Any critical feedback given wasn’t so bad as to deter me from using it in the future.

The reason I said average because it was not communicated that our storage unit could only be accessed during office hours. We were given an access code and could not get to our unit after hours. Need a better entrance way for access. I went to unload my truck and could not get in, due to return 🚛 trucks after hours drop off, it will cost me another day so I can ann unload early and then do a 4th trip. Got to be a better way.

It was only luck that there were a few corporate guys there to help us. The "regular" staff just left during the day. The facility was over loaded with equipment and there was no room for trucks and equipment. We couldn't get into the storage we had reserved. There is no elevator for above and below storage access! What a joke! This place needs to be torn down and replaced. I will definitely NOT use uhaul storage again based on this experience. Josh did his best to help us, but as he said several times - "He doesn't work here".

The store unit was not clean. It has a drainage system in the unit and made my unit have an odor, which affected my items in the unit. There was no light so I was working in the dark if I closed my unit for privacy. I asked for another unit the staff said there was no units available in my size. I would like a refund for the time I was in the unit.

I have many scars and battle wounds from the lights turning off while I was in the middle of storing my stuff the manager clean that she would get it fixed, never did. I had an original issue when I first got here when there was no staff there and they all bailed and didn’t tell any of the customers what they were doing and they just left and they were extremely rude and I told the manager about this and she calmedsomething of mine and it was nice for you to do that but you know they never fix the security issue with the lights the employees are still lazy do not care about them the customers and the last time my last day there I still had an issue where I was trying to check out of my storage unit and there were three employees sitting outside doing nothing and they were customer sitting inside weeding doing nothing but waiting for somebody that’s going to come that’s not going to come because they’re sitting outside talking to other employees I would never recommend this place I almost wanna never use Uhaul again it was the absolute worst place I could ever go everything I did but into that place had a fit through the size of a door otherwise it was a nightmare to try and get this other side door open and I just absolutely hate this place.

I hired a move help abd paid the crew (via Uhaul recommended site) to offload my stuff into the storage that I paid for (at Uhaul site). I was informed (by the move help) that Uhaul staff told him not to offload (unload) the Uhaul truck. The truck was just sitting at Uhaul yard. Uhaul keeps on charging me everyday for the truck I did not use even though it was returned (parked) at the Uhaul approved return location. Not only that, without communicating with me, Uhaul went ahead to close the storage I fully registered and paid for. I see this as a sabotage. I contacted Uhaul supervisor few times for help, she did not offer to help. All I was hearing from her was I cannot help. Even though this was a fully paid for service, I felt I got very poor value out of it. I felt helpless.

Add storage facility when you were in the dark damp and deep recesses of the building The light can go out and there are no motion detectors inside of the storage units inside of the hallways leading all the way back to the entrance, I tripped on my stuff in the pitch black and then try to tell one of the people that work there who stared at me through a glass window and laughed at me after that as I was trying to move my stuff a very rude employee want to head and locked a door as I was trying to go through it and walked away saying she had a closet as I said it would’ve been nice to know before hand and she just mumbled something I probably didn’t want to hear. This is Sari is extremely extremely extremely dirty with trash all over the place mattresses slices of cheese broken plastic and sand lake debris from the asphalt thats deteriorating.

They meant they rented me a unit and I had no access to get my furniture out on the first on the first day and no one could help me with that. And then when I went to go get my stuff even though I have paid the bill they added an additional lock and we're no assistance no I would never recommend this because most of the staff do not know how to handle customer service

I have to remove all my belongs from Uhaul and put them into another company’s storage because whomever took my reservations made my life difficult at this point by putting me into a too small of a storage space and all my belongings did not fit they claim they couldn’t find my reservation so I stood around while she searched had to call around to other Uhaul’s for storage no luck. Now Im being put into spot that’s very uncomfortable and very tiring because I have to leave work in time so I can get all my things out and into another storage company and you guys are still charging me for your truck rental because I have to have it an extra day to get my situation handled. Very disappointed

I was happy with my experience overall. I didn't care for the fact I had to be buzzed into my unit each time I came to storage. I could NEVER get a human on the phone to answer questions. The day I moved out, I was speaking to a lady about renting a Smaller unit. She fell asleep three times while I was standing in front of her. I asked her three different times I needed a SMALLER unit, she researched a LARGER unit. Complete waste of time. I would rent from Uhaul again in the future.

Workers was not clear on how to properly check into unit. Also, I feel as though they one of the workers at the location (nahrie or jahrie) did not take her job serious. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her to change my access code and she told me they couldn’t do it in store and that I had to call customer service but I told her customer service said that’s something that had to do in store. After I told her that she still insisted I call customer service and kept stating they can’t change it in store. I called customer service again and they told her the same thing. Then all of sudden she changed it in store when she seen I was actually on the phone with customer service. I was there for a extra hour for this inconvenience.

I was not knowledgable about the sizes of the unit so the unit I was assigned was to small. I shared what I had so the could recommend a size. I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas. I was very upset and I am looking for other options to be out of ther before next month.
