ROBERT RMichael was amazing helping us getting us changed over to a covered trailer because of the rain. He has a “I will get this done for you” attitude and a kindness beyond average. You are blessed to have him as a representative of your company. Believe me when I say this- he is management material. I know it when I see it.
CHARLES VOnly part I didn’t like is you have a 2 story storage building with no freight elevator, no carts to use. Most people are not prepared to bring that kind of equipment.

JOSHUE MWhen I arrived to pick up the one-way trailer I had reserved, I was informed it was not available. Due to a tight schedule, I had no choice but to take an in-town trailer, which required returning it to Springfield. This resulted in an additional 160 miles of towing—something that added both time and fuel costs to my move. Additionally, the trailer was dirty and greasy, which was not apparent until we began unloading. Grease transferred onto the carpet at the new location, and we were forced to spend several hours cleaning every piece of furniture and every box before bringing them inside. This caused further delays and incurred extra cleaning costs. Unfortunately, two pieces of furniture now have permanent stains. This experience caused a significant amount of unplanned expense, and inconvenience.

KORY CUhaul customer service really has gone downhill recently. I reserved my 20’ truck and an appliance dolly from a local location several days before my move. The equipment, time and date was confirmed multiple times in the next few days. The day before my move, I begin getting phone calls, texts and emails stating that the location and time had changed. When I ask not to change locations because it was quite a distance away from where I was, I was told that the original location did not have the reserved items and that was the reason for the change. I confirmed multiple times that day that both the truck and appliance dolly were there and reserved. I arrived the next morning to several people in line and only one person working the counter. When a second person came in to assist, she told me they had my truck but not the appliance dolly. When I asked why they did not have the reserved and confirmed equipment her response was “we just don’t have it.” I was told to call other Uhaul locations or even other companies to locate a dolly. After that, she was short and rude to me. I will never rent equipment from this location again.
CHRISTA NEvery time I was there the staff seemed stressed and overworked. There was always at least three customers to one employee… The ramp to the second floor storage is absolutely unacceptable. I will never rent from a facility that has a dangerous ramp like that. The handle on my storage door was halfway unscrewed..

DUANE LI only needed the car hauler for 5 hours but was charged for 24 hours. I wanted to rent it two days later to pick up the car after it was fixed but they said I would have to pay for another 24 hours. Seems that I should be able to do that since only using half the 24 hours rate for both trips???

SHAUN EThe only thing that I am not happy about is the $25 cleaning fee. We only hauled one load and used it for a few hours. We swept it out. It didn't need anymore cleaning. Felt like $25 for nothing. Ouch!

LARRY SWhen I reserved the truck, I wanted the facility that is very close to my house, I received a call a bit later and was told that I had to drive across town to pick up truck..I said what wasn't acceptable and the lady told me for my inconvenience that they would credit me 30 miles as it was approx.. a 60 mile round trip. Got the truck fine and paid. when I got the email; with my bill this morning, I was charged for the entire 60 miles..I called and talked to a rep at the Glenstone location and said I had to call the 800 number, how ridiculous as every conversation I had with U-haul wasn't correct. They didn't listen at all... What a bunch on nin-com-poops. How disappointing this whole ordeal was...I will re-think about ever using them again...they suck!

Tami TThese guys at the Glenstone location in Springfield, MO were busy at the counter and the rental lot, but always managed to make sure everybody knew where they were in the cue and when they could give the customers their full attention, in turn. Was glad to pay the small upcharge for loading my auto transporter, as I was in a tight time crunch to get moving down I-44 to Oklahoma. Rare to see customer service this good in any industry or segment of the economy. Kudos to your guys working this U-Haul location, wish we had more like them.

I did as instructed and called to let them know the rental was back before opening of the store and was still charged for the second day of rental. Going by the store today to talk to the manager
DANIEL MWhen we took out the ten foot truck we where very specific about where we where going. At $250+ our thoughts where that the extra milage was added on. When we turned it in there was an additional $130+ dollars for milage this and the fact the check engine light was on for the entire trip tells us. Lesson learned. We will not be using your trucks any more for future hauling.

LANCE MDoor access panel never worked where I needed to enter. This was never fixed after I brought it up or needed let in multiple times. No place to park. Employee had the nerve to say I can’t park in a place I was actually allowed to park because there was no where to park “officially” without having to walk all around the building or be in an empty u-haul truck space. Cart needed was never up stairs, buy more carts and fix the security access y’all.

I hated going to this location because there are a couple of people who work there that are really rude and microaggressive. Overall the storage had a coachroach infestation and that time.i did visit the place and it was closed. I found dead coacroaches in some.of my things.

They have always been wonderful. Every single interaction was pleasant.

It was inconvenient to have to key in code every time to open door while unloading by myself until I got locked out and had to return to desk. Then I received better instructions on the difference for the key pads and was told I could leave the door wedged open while unloading. Things went more smoothly thereafter. But very happy with cleanliness, helpful staff, convience of storage at destination to turn in one-way truck, and a month of free storage!

Gerald R | Overall ExperienceIn my hurry as well as extreme exhaustion from moving from out of state very quickly and the first apartment not being ready as planned, my wife and I needed storage quickly. The booking process was very easy online and the staff were very thorough. However, my wife and I still accidentally stored ALL of our items into the empty unit right next to the one we were assigned. We were so exhausted, we never realized the error until I returned some time later to retrieve a few things and there was a company lock on the unit. Long story short, the staff were very understanding and eventually updated my account to the unit number we accidentally moved into and released the other we were supposed to use (same sizes). For reasons that have nothing to do with Uhaul, these past few months have been such a nightmare for my family to put it lightly and the thought of having to move our items over to another unit was simply unbearable. I can't put into words how much I appreciate Uhaul's team. I've never been so close to having several nervous breakdowns in my life but thankfully this didn't have to happen. Thank you for your part in getting us through the nightmare! We will certainly keep Uhaul in mind for any future moves and I highly recommend the company for anyone else. Especially if moving one way and needing storage: Uhaul had a great promotion for 1 month free storage with 1 way truck rentals at participating locations. Such a lifesaver. Thank you again, you have a loyal happy customer.

The hallways are well lit too. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful! We removed our belongings a month earlier than we paid. Staff had us check the address they had on file so corporate could send us our refund. As we had moved from the address they had on file, we appreciate that attention to detail and due diligence on our behalf. (We forgot to advise them of our new address.) Staff was rude and didn't try to resolve the issue. If you knew I was emptying a 2 bedroom duplex why wouldn't you help to make sure I got a storage unit for a 2 bedroom duplex??? Thank God S. In this time of Covid-19, this public bathroom could have been a little cleaner and ready to go. It was just a matter of a little neglect. That is all. I really liked all the staff i interacted with. I was not able to get to the office during normal business hours and replied to an email stating the locker was empty with the date to which it was empty. I now show a past due for a locker I am not using. This is the only and real problem I have. I did try to call on a couple of occasions with no answer. This is the only problem I had, but seems a serious enough one.
