I was told when dropping the truck off it would be 84.00 and some change, when it went through my bank it was 85.04, not sure why.

Getting the initial rental was not a problem at all. The staff was friendly and everything went smooth. Ended up having to get a 3 day extension. The lady I talked to said if I didn’t want to keep the dolly I had rented then I could bring it back to avoid the extra $21s in fees ($7 per day). So I drove over there right after and was told that I could not return it without also returning the truck. It wouldn’t have been an issue if I was literally just told I could return it to avoid extra fees. Extremely frustrating. Another misunderstanding or miscommunication was also that I was told I could return the uhaul to the Nixa location. I thought that was very convenient since I just moved to highlandville from Springfield and would have to put less miles on it. The time came to return it and I find out that I have to take it back to the original location or there was an outrageous fee. This could perhaps be my fault for misunderstanding but I am positive I heard correctly, especially since the guy I originally rented from asked where I would be dropping the uhaul off at. Overall it was a very frustrating experience. Staff be more knowledgeable and not misleading

One of the customer service reps here was very rude and impersonable. Makes the location less than pleasnt to deal with. Highly considering avoiding if Ineed use UHaul in springfield in the future.

There was dried blood inside the trailer. I called and let uhaul in Springfield know. The girl said the manager would call me that day when I called. I still haven't heard from him. Dried blood is against OSHA regulations. This is not acceptable.

I had an extremely hard time figuring out how to get into this location and where to park. The one entrance off of Glenstone is exit only. The side road exit is not clear that it is for parking. There is clear and adequate signs on where to go when returning equipment which could be part of the confusion. I was very disappointed with check in. I checked in on my phone before hand and still waited 30 minutes in line. It was a Sunday morning and I know the store was aware ahead of time how many people there would be to check out trucks as the 5 people ahead of me all stated they had reservations at 9. There were only two people working. One was inside helping people rent and one was outside moving/cleaning/checking trucks back in. There should have been a third person if not a fourth person to help with customers. The amount of time it takes to check in a person should be streamlined. Those who have pre-checked in on line ahead of time....which is recommended on your website, should be given a different line for speedier check out.

Internet web site doesn't list it as a local location that is open 7 days a week or even on the map. I drove around town all day to different lots that didn't have a larger truck that I needed or that they were all closed on a Wednesday, or lets just say there was a sign on the door saying I'm not in today to call a # and leave a message ( really hope these people were not on the payroll and not at work ) I can already see where this company needs an over haul, any way so I got a truck the next day from the storage lot or repair facility, what ever u call that location and it was dirty, could not see out the window do to all the bugs splattered all over it. I moved here from a very big city and they sure take better care of there rentals a lot better than here.. I'm very disappointed in this small town if this is the way they handle things. The customer service in renting and returning was great over all.

I received the 5x8 trailer with grease on the floor of the unit. I did not notice the grease until I unloaded the mattress and box spring which had black grease all over the edges. I pointed out the grease to the drop off location and they took pictures and made notes on this issue. I'm very disappointed that the pickup location did not have this trailer clean upon pickup and my clean mattress and box springs now have black grease on them.

I have been trying several times to reach customer service.No success yet.The driver door would not unlock so you had to crawl thru to unlock it each stop.Also I had 3 extra days to unload than what was marked as my return date.I would not had to stay up all night and unload by myself if that had been more clear.

The whole experience was great. I reserved my rental two weeks in advance and had to reschedule for a week later NO PROBLEM the staff were excellent got me out in minutes and were very helpful and offered suggestions. The turn in took less than 10 minutes. Most excellent experience! I'll always use U-Haul.
