The staff at this facility was top rate,I had my storage unit for a year and regularly forgetting my entry code.It came to a point that when they saw me pull in, they would automatically head to my unit to assist me. I moved to Memphis a year ago, out of all the interactions with businesses in this town, this staff are the most spot on. Give them a bonus and let them know their work ethics were appreciated. Also the tires light was on for low pressure. One tire had a cut on the side and one was ball. I have rented U-Haul trucks from this location 3-4 times and this was the worse. - Horrible one. The rep said we asked to many question for it to be 7:10a.m. In the morning.

Although I had a terrible experience PRIOR to getting the storage facility (someone at U-Haul corporate lied to me about my space rental which caused me to incur late charges using the truck and the space was not available at 3 different facilities. It was horrible and led to more cost for our Ministry. You all gave us a $50 credit. But what good was that when we incurred considerable more expense driving across town trying to search for another storage room? I booked your largest room but when I got to the Winchester location, they said U-Haul corporate have "booked over" their local booking and caused this fiasco. They had NO storage space at all and we had a 15 foot UHaul truck full of furniture. Nightmare! But, we called around until we found the Watkins location in North Memphis (no thanks to U-Haul corporate). They sold us 2 rooms and we were able to finally unload the truck after an "all day" horrific experience. We ended up paying for an all day truck that should have been only a 4-hour rental). But, I credit the U-Haul at 2722 Watkins with saving the day! We were thoroughly impressed with them and will definitely use them and tell everyone else to use them again. Mrs. Elaine Y. The first unit we rented the guy needed my husband to cut the lock for him only to find it full of trash and broken glass so had to take a different unit. This place is in dire need of updating and repairs!!

The unit we rented was locked and the customer service rep only had a hammer and screwdriver to remove the lock so we used our own power tool to cut it for him. When opening the unit someone had left trash and broken glass all inside of it so I requested a different unit. The next unit was ok but the floors are rotting out and the walls show water damage. I'm pretty sure there are roaches too. We are using the unit to store bicycles and a few large containers we travel with but definitely cant wait to get our things out of there!! The price is extremely too high for what you get as well!! Would never rent here again and would not recommend to anyone.
