The N Watkins location lacked customer service and empathy. My mother felt humiliated when she thought she was making a simple return of the key but was instead laughed at for thinking that there would not be an additional charge for mileage. She was completely unaware of the situation and it was unfair for her to be bullied and spoken to in a condescending tone. When I arrived to pay the bill, hurriedly from work. The attendant at the store didn't take time to ask about the issue. I told him about the situation and what I could do to bring it up to higher management or even have someone hear me out. I was told there was nothing he could do. He didn't show an ounce of customer service and showed zero consideration for us. Luckily there were no snobbish remarks and I only received "yes" and "no" answers when spoken to. The attendant wearing sunglasses didn't give me any tone and made no attempt to interact, even though I was soft spoken when asking questions. I felt no human compassion let alone customer service. I will not recommend UHaul to anyone, I will do the exact opposite. I understand that we all have our bad days when interacting with customers but I'm just saddened to know that my mother was laughed at during her visit. I'm disgusted that no one apologized for the error or even offered any information on how to go about contacting higher management. I don't expect anything to come of this comment/review, but I do hope UHaul takes at least ten minutes out of their day to reevaluate their goal of helping their fellow human being during a transition from one home to the next. A life changing event that most want to remember for new beginnings, not additional hardships. You've lost a loyal customer today.

The prices are a rip off. The scam is to charge my card and hold funds. Why? That was not explained. Then you double charge what you advertised. The catch is the mileage. Will never go back. Thanks but no thanks.

When I picked truck up it was dirty and on empty. The teller said I would get reimbursed for gas when I returned the truck in mayfield ky plus get a deposit back. I got nothing back. I will not use That terminal again.

Picked it up so empty on gas I had to go across street to fill up. I got it on empty and returned it on 1/2 a tank and got no money back

Provide the customer with a truck that works and won't breakdown every 45 minutes during a 900 miles drive. Also one that doesn't leak when raining onto valuables being transported. Also one that doesn't have toxic fumes in the cab.

Train the staff how to be honest and respectful. I was told you can't a open trailer out of state (the one with the ramp on it). I asked the 1800 Uhaul customer service if that was true or not and they stated that it was not true. The young lady told me you can take an open trailer out of state as long as it has a ramp on it. I had so much problems heading to my destination, I had to take the trailer off the back of my truck because it was causing my truck to have too many problems. I had no choice but to leave it in New Orleans. I have so much problems with customer service and the store manager. I've been trying to resolve this for the last 3 days and I still haven't got anything resolved. Over charged and not satisfy and how things with handle. Going to take my truck to the shop and have it inspected to see if there's any damage. I will continue to work on having these issues solved.

The clerk was rude. The print out of the gas in truck was not accurate. I got the run around at the pick up on N. Watkins. However, the clerk where I dropped off, was extremely nice. The person at Watkins u haul needs more training and told to get rid of her attitude. I will NEVER go there again or recommend anyone else to go.

Customer service was the worst. The girl at the counter had a nasty attitude. When droping the truck off she was on her cell phone the whole time. I will not be doing business at this location again. I will keep going to the Mendenhall location.

The u-haul that I ordered did not have a working light in the trailer part of the truck. We had problems being able to see packing and unpacking the truck. I feel like the company should have told us about this problem with the truck. Someone could have injured themselves loading and unloading the truck. We should not have to pay full price for a vehicle like this and I would like for the manager to contact me or my wife about this situation.
