inspect trailer latches. one side was bent and no lock could be added to th4 left side trailer door latch. I informed u haul upon return and was told thank you owe will fix it. that is fine Scott Shepard 732 861 3383
SCOTT SEven though my pick up was in the middle of a thunderstorm, the personnel went out of their way to help me hook up the trailer to ensure I was 100% satisfied. Great customer service!

Sue HUhaul moved reservation to another location w/o telling me. I had even called that AM as the app looked odd and the website was down. I called the number where I had reserved my uhual and she siad yes the system was down and acting weird but she confirmed my reservation. When I showed up hours later the person said Uhaual changed my location. When I later looked at my emails, I found an email notification. There was no call or text to me. Completely unacceptable!
KellyAnne LThis location has a great team, easy access off I-85, everything went smooth at this location. The only issue I encounter is the U-Haul website when ordering. By default, optional items are selected, which I do not want and make the font and link very small to say no thanks to these items. However, that frustration is gone after I deal with the nice people at this location in Chamblee. Thank you to all who work there to make the experience a good one.

WILLIAM PThis location was great. The issue is this location is not where I reserved my equipment. I reserved my equipment a week in advance at another location and when I showed up they said they didn’t have a truck available for me. This seems completely insane to me, I had a confirmed reservation. How was I not contacted ahead of time? Very frustrating.

JOSE RWould have an excellent rating had I got to use my coupon or promotional code that I thought I was getting being his eye rented and used all U-Haul U-Haul truck U-Haul storage U-Haul equipment but because paperwork was not filled out correctly by U-Haul distributor. No discount, which is kind of faulty that it does not let you know that so you can make sure of that before you move forward with your plans. I think that's pretty crappy, but like I said in the beginning, once you're already there to store your things and you have workers to put them up and so forth you're not going to leave to go try to find another storage facility. Thank you

DARLLA MI get that I arrived right before closing but my experience at this location was terrible. Upon entering I said hi the guy said nothing I did a self service pick up but the app wasn’t working so he just snaps my picture without communicating what he was doing or how he was helping. We don’t do an inspection of the truck or anything just tossed me the keys after checking me in. By the time I get in the truck he was pulling off in his car. Truck was absolutely terrible and the to top it off the empty gas light came on upon exiting the parking lot. Terrible experience.

LISA KI did not catch his name, but the gentleman who worked hooking up trailers and meeting returning equipment was a gem. He was friendly, polite, helpful and very engaging. Even though the location I rented from was a bit out of the way for me, I'd go out of my way to rent from here next time because of this guy - he made the experience smooth and effortless.

AYRON BThe van was really smelly, missing the visor to block the sun & overall below average. Not clean, smelled like marijuana. The process to get in the van took a really long time as well. It’s nice when things go smoothly & you are met with a well kept vehicle.

AMY HThe trailer I rented should not have been rented out. The pull down strap was missing which I discovered after the trailer was fully loaded and the door would not pull down. I had to crawl over my load to the front and push hard to get the door partially closed, leaving an opening so I could crawl out. Very upset that it took about 35 minutes just to shut the door. Fortunately I only had to open it once to unload. I left it open as again it seemed to be stuck/jammed in the open position. This trailer obviously was not pre checked prior to being rented.

Jennifer W | First Impressions2511 is the storage unit we rented. The slide latch had been previously cut where the padlock shackle would go over, and restraighted. It was not replaced and it should have. I did not notice this previously. But did noticed it two weeks before we decided to vacate the unit. The damaged slide latch also made it difficult to open and close the roll up door. This was frustrating. Lastly, when I initially signed for the unit, the manager had made a card key for me. But did not hand it nor included it in the paperwork I had received. There was a lot going on that day because we were moving out of our apartment. What was also frustrating was that he (Darell SP?) told me that I could not enter or use my storage unit until a 24 hour background check was completed. WTF?! I have rented storage unit from your company throughout my military career and have never heard of this BS! Please correct this.

I know it is annoying when customers come right before close, but they showed no signs of rushing me or being upset. I do wish the facility was open a little later on a Friday night, though. I think 9 or 10 is more reasonable.

People who have money may judge this but honestly there are some out here that struggle to pay high bills with a limited income and there are some that make decisions based on their current situation that businesses like storage companies take advantage of the $ not the customers which make it hard to keep up in most cases.. smh.. I really tried but I pray for not only myself that those that find themselves in situations like mine, see a bigger picture that u lose sometimes but the reward later can turn out to be 10fold..

George H | Overall ExperienceStaff was very disrespectful idk who these new guys are, Nick and the other guy above Nick at the Uhual on 2951 NE Expressway chamblee ga but the customer service was trash. I’ve had a small unit at that location for a couple years now & wanted to upgrade to a bigger one so I reserved it online a week or so prior for June 11 & went on June 11 afternoon to obtain it. Nick prematurely moved me out of my current unit before we solidified the bigger unit. The price for the larger unit I reserved was a higher price and I even showed them the screenshot. The guy above Nick refused to honor that price I reserved it for therefore I no longer wanted it. I told him I’ll stay in my current unit since y’all aren’t honoring the price & he said since I’d been moved out in the system he didn’t have access to move me back in & I’d have to call customer service on Monday to get my unit back. I’d asked for something in writing or some type of confirmation so I’m not out here with no unit come Monday with ALL my stuff in it looking crazy. He refused and decided he wasn’t dealing with me, dismissed me & was very nasty, saying his manager would have to do it & he’s off so oh well. After the 2nd time of asking him to call his manager & not ignore me he finally called & the manager walked them through how to move me back in through the system. Something so simple to rectify but instead they decided to ignore me and treat me like nothing. But I will not be ignored; especially regarding something I’m paying for monthly. And this is nothing against the manager bc I believe I met him and his customer service was above average in our dealings. But those two guys working that day…very disrespectful & very dismissive, especially the superior guy.

The turn over rate at this place is ridiculous and no one wants to spend their money where the service is horrible and the employees don’t fully understand or can not fully communicate the standard rates and fees well enough to successfully secure a storage unit for a customer where it’s not a big confusion when that employee is absent and some else is assisting the customer. It seems to me that no one is trained properly at the place. This was by far my worst experience ever at uhaul. That says a lot.

The manager is also always onsite and assisting his team during any complications. I had to give a phone number of a friend and sister. There is no reason for you to involve ANYONE, for any communication purpose, involving my storage unit. You contact me and me only and don't ask for ANYTHING else. I don't want anyone involved in my life, issues, or storage unit. I have a mailing address and a physical address. You don't need both. Nobody gets both. Why do you need it? Had I known that you were going to ask for all this info, I would have taken my business elsewhere. You need to change this policy or at least give a logic reason as to why you need this.
