booked a 17 ft not available at the time of booking settled for a 15 ft one ms joyce couldn’t open the others lock pad wouldn’t unlock causing us to run behind almost two hrs. i settled for a 10 for storage: when i came to retrieve the system down

Also some sort of upgrade should b made, of putting a ramp where my unit was , there were atleast maybe 4 steps up " making it difficult 2 bring heavy items in and out of the unit ".

ROBERT DI reserved a dolly but they did not have any. What the heck. It really slows down the process of loading a 20 foot truck when there is no dolly. I hired two guys to load the truck and had to extend (and pay for) the time because no dolly anlowed them down. Every truck should have a dedicated dolly. Just build that into the cost of the rental. Whats the point of having a reservation if everything is not there at pickup.

Lawrence PI had a reservation and when I went to pick it up.I was told that my reservation wasn't saved.After several text and several emails they still weren't convinced i had a reservation. The lady at the service desk.Let me know that the only reason I was able to get a trailer is because someone didn't pick theirs up in a timely mand she looked at the exact same text and emails that was sent to me from her store location

RENEE JI had such a great experience that I don't see any area of lack. I enjoyed the availability of hours, the staff was great, and being able to drop off when finished was a non hassle experience when moving is a stressful thing.

Miguel hOutdoor check in by outdoor check in staff is lighting fast. Inside sometimes is a wait. I needed to get a refund for a dolly fee and furniture pads and he said it's better to call instead.
JOSEFINA Mthe team working the front counter was on top of it! There was a steady stream of customers and they were multitasking taking care of multiple people at once. it was the fastest experience i've ever had with a uhaul. I was also pleasantly surprised at how new and clean the van we got was.
MEGHAN CLupita and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to get in and out quickly and drop off was a breeze.

LAKEITH MMake sure they have a good running truck please I had a problem with the on yall gave me yall should have not seen me on the road with vehicle that don't go over 55 miles on rhe freeway. I had to git on service road to make to my destination
ZENA PThe check engine light wad on when I rented the truck and the mileage was incorrect. There was a lady names Issis that laughed over the phone at me because I requested a $1.19 plus taxes refund. She was RUDE from the moment I walked in until I finished a conversation with her over the phone. Light skinned black woman wore glasses middle aged her attitude didn't represent UHAUL at all!! Taricca who helped me rent the truck (name spelling) maybe incorrect was a pleasure to work with and Felicia who corrected the refund in customer service was amazing. She could see the pictures that I rented the truck with the wrong mileage. Nevertheless, I would definitely rent again but avoid the rude lady at all cost.
HANNAH HI will not recommend to anyone the issue I had with over charging others have had too recently. When I call to resolve the issue they made up some bogus charges my review will be online as well hopefully no one else will experience the fraudulent charges
CHANDRA TI made my reservation a week in advance at a location a few blocks from my house. The night before pickup I’m notified I will have to pickup at this location off Westmoreland. Disappointed the truxk wasn’t available where I reserved it at.
Robert BI really enjoyed Lupita Padilla, she was very with things needed and was there immediately to answer questions and concerns. She handles herself very well and is very professional and takes CRM very serious representing the U-Haul company brand. She has won me over to reside as a loyal customer to U-Haul thank you for the experience.

RAMOND LThe truck I initially rented overheated which wasted our time waiting for roadside assistance only for them to show up 1hr later without a replacement truck and he was unable to fix the issue with the truck overheating. 3hrs of our time wasted only to make it back to location 5mins before they closed and thank God the lady was helpful because she stated she was ready to go home and leaving at exact closing time. My remark would be make sure your vehicles are up to standard for customers because this was a complete inconvenience, money lost and wasted time.

ERIC HI was charged for my gas broth a gas ticket back I put the amount it was supposed but you took it out my account the truck didn't have a full tank when I got it I will use cash only next time $1.00 0ff
DORIS BI don't believe it was the location that was behind my bad experience I had this time. But I was unfortunately disappointed due to being overcharged in a few areas.Not sure why after providing proof that the gas and mileage was incorrect I was told I couldn't be reimbursed. Now for the other charges let's see how long before I get my money back
Maria RWhen I arrived at the Dallas Uhaul, they noticed that the straps that initially were rapped around my tires in Van Nuys, were no longer wrapped and had come loose. This means that the car could have come off the transport and caused a tragic accident on the freeway or streets.
MARILYN WI initially requested and paid for a furniture dolly however, upon moving we realized the dolly was no where present on the vehicle. In an attempt to move without the initial requested dolly my foot was injured and potentially broken. I did ask for a credit back to my card for the dolly that was not received and advised I would receive one. If need be I will definitely be going to a different location next time. Awaiting my refund.
SHEILA TWhile everyone was friendly and I believe you should have fun at work, I found that the phone was answered unprofessionally several times by a male when I called in and while I was sitting in the building. It was childish and unprofessional. This needs to be fixed.

CRYSTAL CWorst customer service when returning truck. Worker had a really bad attitude and the whole place smelled like marijuana.
DAVID HThe service from the attendants is awesome, but being required to use the U-Haul App before you can leave the lot with the U-Haul vehicle can be very time consuming and frustrating. It took me over 1 hour just to do the final check points to drive off the lot. For example you are required to use your own cell phone to down load the U-Haul App to take a pictures of your DL, the license plate number and other things. The app kept rejecting my uploaded pictures, then i had to ask the attendant to help me so she had to leave the desk and use her own cell phone. I wasted 1 whole hour before i could even drive off the lot. The lady that served me was very helpful. Had it not been for her coming outside to help me I would have never got it done.
DERRICK MThe first van I rented had broken/non-working Air Conditioning. They traded out the van for another, but without an apology and no offer to assist me in transferring my stuff from the broken van to the new one.

The guys was uneducated on how to unhook the trailer from the truck to unload my vehicle. As we began to pull off after asking him if we was good to go to unload the truck several times he stated yes, so as we was pulling off to unload the trailer was still half way attached to the truck so my son had to unhook us fully cause the uhaul worker didn't and he had move on to the next customer. There was more thi gs that went on at all three uhaul facilities that we came in contact with and I will be filing a full complaint.
charlotte s | First ImpressionsThe original storage unit was too small for our needs just because a truck is rented that doesn't mean that is all the room that is needed. Units should not be sized by the truck that is being rented. We had a tall entertainment center that simply would not have fit in the unit. We were told that the 10x10 was the largest we could get. We wound up getting a much larger unit and there's not much room leftover. We had a 20x20. And threw alot away.
sonjia c | Overall ExperienceMy move in date was June 1, 2021 for a first floor drive up unit but when I got there they said that they did not have those units there and that there was nothing they could do but move me into a second floor unit. My move out date was for April 1, 2023 and I moved out March 29, 2023. Ebony took the late lock off for me on March 29. I have my lock with me. I was told I had no more time than that. I have the paperwork. Ms Natalie has been saying that she was going to get this straight but hasn't. I owe nothing if I moved out by April 1 is what I was told.
