TIMOTHY MI want to thank U-Haul at Klett Automotive 58 S Dixie Hwy, St. Augustine Fla also. They were extremely helpful with providing me the U-Haul truck and car transporter to get my broken-down vehicle back to Charlotte NC. The man and woman who own the shop were EXTREAMLY helpful and understood my dilemma of getting back to Charlotte NC. Please acknowledge them in this review.

ALICE MI originally made a reservation for a trailer at your Steel Creek location. This reservation was through the 800 number listed on line. I arrived at the Steel Creek location and was told they had my reservation, but the trailer was not there (someone else had it). I am not sure why there are double booking for rentals. Apparently this is a common occurrence. The sales guy was able to find a trailer at another location and another reservation was made. I do not recall the sales guy's name, but he was very helpful. I then proceeded to the other Uhaul location on South Boulevard (Charlotte). I was met by a young lady (Janiya) who was equally pleasant and helpful. I was able to rent the trailer from this location. The sale employees were great to work with. The only issue is the reservation aspect.

SHAY CI drove fewer than 10 miles, added $4 worth of gas, and was charged $64 for 8 gallons of gas. That is fraud.

Michal GInterior of the trailer has some broken wood and rubber bumpers designed to protect items resting against the outer walls. These should be replaced or repaired. On this particular trailer.

ARTIE N | First ImpressionsTake this truck out of service to be repaired. Because of this it took us excessive gasoline (almost double). Truck regularly would lose power after heating up but never actually overheating, we would have to pull over about every 40-50 miles or whenever we had very long inclines. Notified location assistant manager and asked for some kind of refund but stated he had to inform GM first.
ADAM BCouldn't find a gas station close by to top off the tank before returning the truck is my only complaint.

ANGELA EUnfortunately, I rented a 6 x 12 and closed after dropping off the trailer. I realized it was look like to be brake fluid on front of the trailer that I had found that it looks like a brake line must eruption and it’s all over the back of my truck and I’m concerned about severe paint damage.

DANIEL BMy uhaul wouldn't start when I stopped to gas it up, didn't notice it before, but it had the plastic hanging from under it that was supposed to be covering something underneath the truck. It sounded like something was wrong with the transmission as well took to long to change to the next gear.

This GM is very unprofessional and some of his team are not professional as well. I will never recommend anyone to go to South Blvd. Location. I am so glad to be out of there. They can say what they want to about me it is perfectly fine but I know I was a woman of my word when I paid my bill and explained every to them when I had a situation. I will never recommend anyone to this UHAUL and where that GM goes do not put your things in any storage he is at. I do not care how long he has been with Uhaul company. This GM does not know how to operate this facility professionally. They do not smile , they hang up the phones, they don't answer, they ask you if you in default around other customers. Smh thank God I'm out!!!!

Reserved at another facility weeks ahead of time and when the day came to move in they claimed they didn’t have space was forced to find storage elsewhere …. Had to rent a truck to move things from storage that closed and had t pay full price even after driving around looking for where to store my belongings since my reservation wasn’t honored … I don’t see myself using Uhaul again

It was kind of hard to get my stuff because a lot of people was trying to move out since we were forced to move due to the city. The same unit I got from U-Haul I went to public storage and it was $100 cheaper inside a building climate controlled.

I was forced to rent a trailer to remove my contense and the sales person assisted me by slouching back in a chair with an attitude showing no respect for the customer. I will not be back!

We liked the location and it was accessible but that doesn't matter if the unit is no longer available. You can do better than giving someone 30 days to move to another location.

Even waiting in line I was cool with it bcs I could see their hustle to get us moving as quickly as possible ..my experience I must say was perfect from start to finish I dislike moving but this uhaul location made a tough job easier . This took weeks and weeks to get resolved through 2 National U-Haul numbers. The local store manager never responded to any of my approx 6 emails

From the first time I entered the store, his interactions with not only his team but the many customers was seamlessly smooth, relaxed and efficient. Additionally, all communications regarding payments, etc. have always been prompt and the online account system is one of the best platforms I’ve navigated as a customer. James J | First ImpressionsWorst storage ever! My daughter passed away in North Carolina. I lived out of state. I put her belongings in storage. For close to 10 years I paid on time every month. When I summoned the courage to get her things I came back to the storage. It no longer had a ceiling. Wire mesh covered the top. I had rented a large trailer for all her things. When I went into the storage it had been ransacked. The majority of my daughters belongings were gone. I found items that did not belong to her on top of the few boxes that were hers. . I took the few boxes and went home. All the years of paying on the storage were for not. The precious items I had from her life were gone forever. Not from fire or a flood but from thieves rummaging through what was left of my daughters life! To add insult to injury, a few weeks later I get a call requesting payment on the now empty storage. The entire experience was outrageous!!!!
