The South Blvd location was not my original drop off location. I had selected the closest Uhaul location 10660 S Tryon St. Unfortunately for me when I arrived I was told that he didn’t want the trailer and he was refusing to let me leave it there. He gave me another location 9808 S Tryon Rd that was relatively close but no one was there. A sign on the the building gave instructions on where to leave the equipment you were dropping off and to text a number to tell them. I was not going to be responsible for the trailer being left unattended without a receipt. I called the traffic people and spoke to Amy. She was very helpful and gave me yet another location to take the trailer to 3203 Carowinds. I drove to that location and when I went inside the gentleman behind to counter hung up his cellphone and ask what he could do for me. When I responded that I needed to drop off the trailer he stated that he was refusing to take it. Further stating that he didn’t care where I took it but I wasn’t going to leave it there. I replied can we call traffic because they told me to bring it here. He then said “ I don’t care who told you to bring it here im not taking it.” As I started to dial the number to traffic the gentleman behind the counter who did not have a name tag on and did not introduce himself then stated “ You can take your phone call outside and leave , I’m not taking that trailer.” As I walked out the door disappointed in the way that I had been treated by a representative of Uhaul that was unwarranted I was back on the line with Amy in traffic. She was great I explained what the guy had said and that this had been the second location to refuse to except the trailer. Amy then directed me to the South Blvd address and assured me that I would be able to return the trailer there and she apologized for the inconvenience and unprofessional attitude of the guy at the 3203 Carowinds address ( state line storage) . I expressed my desire to file a formal complaint and she informed me that she would pass that information on and that I should be hearing from a regional manager in the future. When I arrived at the South Blvd location I was met by Allicia. A true representative of her business and the Uhaul brand. Professional and courteous and most of all willing to let me return the trailer that I had rented. She did her inspections and even was happy to tell me she appreciated that I had folded all 12 moving blankets back up and stacked them in piles of 6. She was pleasant to deal with especially after what I had dealt with all morning.

The team that was that was awesome they were fast and friendly. The only thing I'm going to say is they forgot to check the vehicle in somewhere but they got me in and out and I was happy about that and then give me know hassle.

I have had to use u-haul many times over the years. This location has provided by best experience ever!!! They have plenty of equipment so even if I have a last minute need Ian confident they’ll have it available. They are efficient and extremely helpful. Brandon and Taheem are amazing. The truck was a piece of crap. Damage everywhere but the big problem was the side mirrors. The lower one on rightsize was totally gone and a real safety issue with blind spot. On the driver side it was broken as well but still there.

My experience was excellent. Taheem was very personable, professional and engaged. He thoughtfully assisted me with selecting the appropriate packing items. He was detail oriented and offered me several options for pickup and drop off to better accommodate my needs. I started out a little irritated because we had scheduled our pick up in Indian Trail, NC and it got switched to the South Blvd. location in Charlotte. I did not receive an email or text to notify me of the change. When we got to the South Blvd it was extremely busy, but the manager kept his cool and had a great sense of humor. You could tell he really liked his job. I will definitely use this location again.

The person who I dealt with when I arrived to pick up the unit was very helpful and informative. However when I returned the unit the person who checked the unit back in was in no way customer service appropriate. She never informed me as to what the process was when she had us just standing there while she checked the air pressure on the tires and blew the dust out of the trailer. It would have been nice to know what exactly what she needed to do rather than just standing there with no clue since we were not well informed. I was then informed in a short and curt tone to pull the trailer over there as she walked away and pointed to a open parking lot with many over there possibilities. I was eventually directed to the correct location by the service agent who assisted me when I initially picked up the unit. Without the assistance of the initial agent i would still be sitting there now due to a lack of direction from the service agent. I was asked if I wanted to have a receipt emailed to which I stated yes. Just be bfore leaving I checked my email and did not see it so I asked her if it had been sent. Once again her tone made it feel as if I was inconveniencing her by asking a simple question. My experience just could have been a little better over all.

The 3 Ladies that were the only Employees working between 130 and 5pm were handling business.. They made being Stranded without a ride or a truck bearable. I'm Helen Mays and I rent the Cargo van about 5pm..

When I arrived my reservation time was 1pm. The employees seemed a bit disorganized because they didn’t know if there was an available van to rent. It took me 40 minutes to actually be able to rent the vehicle. My rental time went from 1:00pm to 1:37pm. I was waiting the entire time and I had competed the entire process rental process online to combat waiting.
