Issue with supplies. Company called and said they had to move reservation to another location, about 2 miles away. I had ordered and paid for supplies boxes, tape,etc.) which did not get moved. I was told I would have to pick up truck at one location and supplies at another. That was unacceptable and the manager worked it out to where i didnt have to go to the other location. I have rented from Uhaul truck before but this time I had to rent a van because the trucks wasn't available. I was told by Alberto that in this van if I do more than a 100 miles the mileage goes down to .49 a mile @ 19.95 rental rate. I believed him because a van height is much smaller than a truck so I reckoned that it was an incentive since a van will require multiple trips because you can not stack your products in a moving van. I'm pissed off right now because that is not what happened at all. Instead of 19.95 a day it changed to 89.00. A day.. thats a big jump in fees. I turned the van in after it was closed. Ok, if you want to charge me for 2 days than fine but not at 89.00 a day. My entire point is that I was told @ 19.95 rental rate on a van would be .49 cent a mile with the 100 plus Miles deal . I felt totally deceived. It so happen now the manager not available to speak.

The Rep had poor customer service. No acknowledgment after leaving the counter, Rep helped another person that I was in front of again with no acknowledgment. Pick up time 9am didn’t leave out until 10:10am. Equipment ordered online was not in truck. Didn’t realize until after I got to my removing location. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Chance, the general manager was very professional and helpful! His staff were very nice as well. The process was smooth, fast, and easy. Trucks were clean and they had a lot of free tools provided to help make the move easier. Wait time is long though because theres not many staff. Also would be good if there were elevators lol. Would rent again.

Eliminate the location on Okeechobee Rd. The facility on US1 in South Ft Pierce was clean and friendly. The pick up location was not.

This storage facility should have an elevator for renters. It was an inconvenience to myself and those helping me move to load multiple big loads like couch’s and washers and dryers up stairs. That and the fact I believe renters of storage units should have access until at least midnight.

This is an excellent site, BUT, the young lady that assisted was the real star of the day. She was personable yet professional. She smiled during the entire process. She kept asking if there was anything else she could do for us and recommended other services if needed and answered all questions confidently. The site was very clean and my truck was clean, ready and waiting. The only downside was the computer system was very slow, you need to look at improvements or an upgrade.

This particular location gave me such a bad taste I won’t be using U-Haul again for storage or other wise. The first day which was Friday I reserved a truck and storage. I had to adjust the truck time and get it later so a rep canceled the whole reservation including my storage when I specifically asked the storage reservation to be left untouched. I didn’t find this out until Sunday after I picked up the truck and packed it. I spent two hours on the phone with representatives trying to get checked in for a reservation that didn’t exist anymore but no one could figure that out which meant I had to keep the moving truck for another day. No discount or compensation was offered for this agent error. Then on Monday I come in like physically come in to this location to secure the same storage unit again. Paid signed contracts and specifically asked the manager do I need a key for the lock you guys provided. He said it will come with it. I also let him know the previous day’s issue and because it’s a Monday me and the people moving have to work so I may not be moving in until after hours. Josh said this was fine and to call or text after hours if I needed help. I pulled up at 7:05 as a guest was leaving and discovered the doors to move my furniture in was locked and my storage unit held a lock but no jet or way to get in I called and text Josh at the after hours number, I called U-Haul and their rep sent Josh a message and my brother called U-Haul as well we’re they sent Josh another message for almost 45 minutes we sat out there waiting until the police showed up cause Josh called them instead of answering the phone. So now I still 2 days later have a truck full of things that y’all keep making me pay for. I shouldn’t have to pay for extra days uses when it’s because of your company

The company U-Haul benefits greatly by his professionalism and handling of business for the customers. He’s very comfortable to work with and will help with any problem that a customer Has. The employees are very nice. Very helpful. Took the time to explain every step of process. Check on me while unloading. Dollies were available if needed to unload. Now this is a small older facility. I have climate control unit 10 x10. It has unfinished walls, no lighting so you cant work in there. My movers were able to neatly pack all my items in.

I don't really care for the key card. If I go after hours and the card reader does not work I can't gain access. I don't like the fact that there are two floors but no elevator. Upon arrival to the facility in the am on a Sunday. I proceeded to enter the building of the office because the door was unlocked and open the young man inside the office told me that they were not open yet another need to come back at a later date . If the doors unlocked that means you’re open for business if I customers inside your facility and you do not service them and you turn them around and ask them to come back at a later date that’s poor customer service.

solo utilicé mi storage por 15 días, lo dejé tal y como lo encontré, y semanas después recibo una llamada donde me dicen que tengo una mora por continuar el uso del mismo, expliqué que yo no lo estaba usando, que solo lo usé por 15 días y me llevé todas mis pertenencias, que estaban equivocados, me dicen que el storage está cerrado con candado y que es mi responsabilidad, les repito que no puede ser porque ya me había retirado semanas atrás, que verifiquen en sus camaras de seguridad, les describí incluso la persona que estaba en la oficina y que me atendió, y aún así siguieron insistiendo en que yo lo seguía ocupando, este problema se extendió por meses tanto así que yo renté en marzo y estamos en septiembre y hace unos días recibí otra llamada cobrándome por todo éste tiempo, así que aparte de la molestia que me han causado, pues me he sentido acosada por ésta gente que trabaja en el lugar, quiénes me han dicho que se va a resolver el problema y semanas después volvían a llamarme por lo mismo, cuando el problema lo tienen ellos entre ellos mismos y por sus errores me han causado un problema a mi persona así que decepcionada, molesta y acosada es poco para lo que podría decir de ésta empresa y principalmente les diría que tienen un gran problema de registro ente quienes rentan y quienes se fueron del lugar. espero realmente que éste problema haya quedado resuelto tras tanto tiempo!
