The only problem I was faced this time was the return of the equipment. I was told to to unhook the trailer and leave it at the U-Haul property and necessary paper work will be issued later that day. Unfortunately I received message late same day that the equipment is not logged in as returned. Even though the issued was resolved after I talked to the U-Haul representative there would be room to improve in that area. Thank you for your service.

Hire competent staff who know how to manage difficult customers ahead of us who refused to leave even after not meeting the rental (paper license) requirements. While waiting after 20 minutes and finally asking for some help we were able to rent a uhaul. Tank was at 1/4 when rented. Otherwise, great equipment.

Truck had a broken door handle/arm rest and it kept cutting my arm if I rested it there. The truck had water or something in the cup holders on both doors as if someone hosed out the floor and filled the doors with water. I didn't get the number of blankets I ordered, which resulted in me running out during the move and several pieces of furniture got scratched and damaged including a very nice table. This is the last time I will choose Uhaul for my truck rental. Very bad experience.

Harassing phone calls about me not returning the truck when they should have checked their lot before telling my wife and me we would be liable/charged... and have to report it stolen to Houston police. No accountability when talking to Corporate.

the attendant was to quick to check in the equipment and told me to go. then I got a text for NOT returning the equipment??. I guess in his haste he forgot to record it properly.

The truck u rented had some sort of transmission problem. It was very jumpy and took a long time to accelerate.

I was told the item I reserved was to big for my vehicle to tow. So I went with the smaller trailer. When went to the lot to get my trailer there were none of that size. The employee then gave me the original size trailer I requested and this whole situation took and hour and a half of moving time I had.

My reservation was for 10:00 am. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and it had been canceled. I would suggest that you give some flexibility in allowing some time before a reservation is canceled. Rental cars do it routinely.

Improve in customer service quality care.The tone you use with customers..Get rid of the nonchalant attitude..Stop lying to customers insulting there intelligence and treating customer with disrespect and scornful abuse.stop minimizing the damage and discomfort u-haul as a whole has caused to the smallest degree...when u-haul employee discarded my items accidentally left behind in the u-haul truck not put in lost and found so i'm told by general manager when i called (1-800#) and I am complaining to 4 different rep.before i got transferred to GM to inform me as employee did on 10/2/19 that simply it is not our fault you left items behind our policy is what ever is left is automatically thrown in dumpster.ask do they have lost and found yes but my fault i left the items and they were discarded,general manger at the veterans memorial houston texas 77014 location then go to tell me it's apples to bananas and sorry your items got thrown in dumpster but what I am claiming was not discard and further due lied about what was thrown away like i'm not going to know my i-pad my laptop my blow up bed they were wrapped in wasn't there my new purses hat gloves etc. when i returned to call on same day 2 hours later to inform what i left to me truck had been clean out items in dumpster ask the employee to go and retrieve items told me no he would not but i could return to location and get in dumpster and retrieve them myself.i returned my son got in dumpster had to throw all the trash broken down boxes that was in trash on the ground to retrieve my items and employee comes out tell myself and my son that we have to clean up the boxes and mess made on ground i refused therefore cussed him out from 1-100. my son picked up the trash but i was informed today from general manager that my son for got some trash on the ground and he didn't complain and the i-pad i'm claiming was damage wasn't there i asked how do you if you didn't search bag or retrieve my items so basically grab and toss he told me he could tell by the weight of the bag.i'm sharing my story to put the word out of this location and u-haul as a whole so it won't happen to you, i have been dealing with this since 10-2-2019. I called and reported my behavior my foul language and the incident that happen to cause these actions.I have not been contacted been getting the run around and each time i call reach out customer service says the case been close case resolve and also was told that again today..so before you judge me put yourself in my shoes and think of what you would do in this situation.my fault items was left take ownership but beyond policy i would go over and beyond the call of duty call customer informed they left items behind and especially high end items and i see price tags on items its all on camera ask gm could i come down to view camera with him refused said no need because items you claiming was not there i said i can prove you wrong if you look at camera got nowhere with him and h

Staff wasn't friendly, tried to rent me a trunk with blood all over. The trucks were unusually dirty. I've used this location on several occasions but this was a 1st. Also beware they overcharged me for gas. If it wasn't for me taking a picture of the gas & mileage I would've been stuck out.

key did not match the lock on back rolling door so my stuff was vulnerable to theft many times during my 3 day move... the light inside the storage area did not work, suspect the bulb was burned out there was a dolly and furniture moving pads inside the back cargo area which reduced the capacity of the truck. Why? I was expecting a 20 ft truck, nothing less when i arrive to pick up truck things were asked for that i was not aware of. An email should be sent to each customer telling them exactly what to bring for pick up based on their specifics. This was very frustrating.
