AC in the truck didn't work. When we told the employee when we returned it, he checked it and confirmed it wasn't working and wouldn't give a discount or anything. Trucks apparently are not being checked if they are running properly before renting to customers. The check engine light was also on when we got it.

Mark JWasn’t where I asked to pick up. Had to dice all over the place to find it. App kept changing the truck size and location. Old completely worn out truck. Charged me “extra mileage”. Over 100 dollars. Which is BS. Not even simple cruise control for a trip from Alabama to Kentucky. I also asked for and pre paid for a dolly. Didn’t get a dolly. I had to load it all by hand. I did not get the size truck I ordered either. Complete shit show from start to finish. Instead of making it all right for your customer — I get charged over 100 dollars + for “extra mileage”. Won’t happen again.

Tim MThis is a large U-haul located in Auburn, AL and has many trucks available, but somehow, it doesn’t appear on Google search. I found down this location accidentally when U-Haul has send me around to pick up the truck. Unfortunately, I moved out of Auburn and I don’t know if I have any chance to use this location in the future.

Sebastian CThis is a new place and it looks it. Very clean, super friendly staff and lots of moving accessories inside. I wish we had this type of store for the front end and planning our move. All we had was Home Depot. This location had so many more options for boxes and packing.

hunter dMy U-Haul was cancelled even though I called and asked them not to because I was running a few minutes behind. They then told me I wouldn’t be able to get a U-Haul for hours later. Once I get to the store they tell me that they had a truck for me and it would be the same as my original reservation but it was not the same and extra fees and charges were added. I would not recommend using this locating at all.

Timothy BThe employees were exceptional and everything was great Except the computer system was slow and kept crashing. I felt bad for the Lynn, the guy helping me because he was trying to take care of me and other customers but the system made it hard to get people processed. It took 30 minutes to get the paperwork to go through. There should be a back up.

Rose HI was not advised to complete a vehicle inspection before leaving the premises, which is a basic and important step. Additionally, the truck was not clearly identified for me, and I had to locate it on my own. When I did find it, the interior was unclean and not up to standard. It was also frustrating that an additional $30 charge was automatically included at the time of reservation, and I was not given the option to decline it. Even more concerning, the manager provided incorrect information, stating that the truck was due back the next day. However, my receipt clearly showed that I had until the 29th to return it. What’s most disappointing is that my interaction was with the manager, who failed to acknowledge these critical oversights. There was no guidance on pre-departure responsibilities or clear instructions regarding expectations for drop-off. Overall, this was an extremely poor customer service experience.

Dwayne MUbox was placed on the trailer backwards preventing us from fully opening the door or being able to use the ramp to assist in unloading the box. Very unorganized location that is unprepared for your arrival even when you give them a multi-day heads up.
