Caleb CGreat location, professional staff, and most of all do not forget, you get one month free storage unit if you rent a U-Haul -save money and because do not have to get another storage unit likely more expensive. They don’t have junk fees like some of the other storage units companies.

Philip RAlways stay for the customer the amount of miles that are allowed for the rental of the vehicle whether it’s a return to the same location or a one-way trip. Just call that to the customers attention to make sure that they are aware of how many miles they have to use as a courtesy.
BARRY GI made a reservation a week prior to picking up the truck that included an appliance dolly and a furniture dolly and at a specific location. The day of pick up they changed location for pickup and my truck from a 15 foot truck to a 25 foot truck with no appliance, dolly and no furniture dolly. At this location, I saw multiple trucks that were the type of trucks that I requested. I think if U-Haul can’t get you what you need when you need it, they need to give you other locations or options.. It worked out, got my daughter moved to Macon, but the situation was less than ideal to say the least.
Garris WThe location was great and easy. However, the experience was horrible. My location was changed without my consent, I was given a 20foot truck and reserved a 15 foot, and my drop off location was changed as well. I understand the truck change due to availability, but I'm still unsure if I was charged for the bigger truck. My cost did go up when compared to my reservation.
Matthew WBoth of the wheels of the U-Haul trailer had bulges and the lights did not work. The guy working that hooked up the trailer didn’t check anything for me and just told me to leave. I had never done this before and didn’t know that was not normal. I had to call customer service to get the tires replaced, and the customer service person said the lights were completely broken. The guy working at the location in Auburn did not follow what I now know is proper procedure and let me leave with a faulty trailer, no pictures to prove it, and put me in danger.
SARAH BAmazed by how easy it was to reserve and to move into the storage unit. The location and cleanliness of the facility. Finding my storage unit was so easy that this made the experience completely stress free. Definitely will recommend to others.
Johnny Y | Online Move InThis was not the location I had reserved and U-Haul changed the reservation without my knowledge. I had booked the reservation 4 weeks in advance so I should have been able to pick up at my confirmed location not the reassigned one.

Robert GOverall our experience with U-Haul was great, with one exception. The delivery driver in Fort Worth who delivered our three pods was among the rudest, condescending, unprofessional and sarcastic person I've encountered in any service industry (for clarity - the delivery driver in Auburn was very professional). Aside from the Fort Worth delivery driver, however, I've got nothing but good things to say about U-Hall. Because of her, however, I likely won't ever do business with your company again - she was literally that offensive.
Mike HAC in the truck didn't work. When we told the employee when we returned it, he checked it and confirmed it wasn't working and wouldn't give a discount or anything. Trucks apparently are not being checked if they are running properly before renting to customers. The check engine light was also on when we got it.

Mark JWasn’t where I asked to pick up. Had to dice all over the place to find it. App kept changing the truck size and location. Old completely worn out truck. Charged me “extra mileage”. Over 100 dollars. Which is BS. Not even simple cruise control for a trip from Alabama to Kentucky. I also asked for and pre paid for a dolly. Didn’t get a dolly. I had to load it all by hand. I did not get the size truck I ordered either. Complete shit show from start to finish. Instead of making it all right for your customer — I get charged over 100 dollars + for “extra mileage”. Won’t happen again.

Tim MThis is a large U-haul located in Auburn, AL and has many trucks available, but somehow, it doesn’t appear on Google search. I found down this location accidentally when U-Haul has send me around to pick up the truck. Unfortunately, I moved out of Auburn and I don’t know if I have any chance to use this location in the future.

Sebastian CThis is a new place and it looks it. Very clean, super friendly staff and lots of moving accessories inside. I wish we had this type of store for the front end and planning our move. All we had was Home Depot. This location had so many more options for boxes and packing.

hunter dMy U-Haul was cancelled even though I called and asked them not to because I was running a few minutes behind. They then told me I wouldn’t be able to get a U-Haul for hours later. Once I get to the store they tell me that they had a truck for me and it would be the same as my original reservation but it was not the same and extra fees and charges were added. I would not recommend using this locating at all.

Timothy BThe employees were exceptional and everything was great Except the computer system was slow and kept crashing. I felt bad for the Lynn, the guy helping me because he was trying to take care of me and other customers but the system made it hard to get people processed. It took 30 minutes to get the paperwork to go through. There should be a back up.

Rose HI was not advised to complete a vehicle inspection before leaving the premises, which is a basic and important step. Additionally, the truck was not clearly identified for me, and I had to locate it on my own. When I did find it, the interior was unclean and not up to standard. It was also frustrating that an additional $30 charge was automatically included at the time of reservation, and I was not given the option to decline it. Even more concerning, the manager provided incorrect information, stating that the truck was due back the next day. However, my receipt clearly showed that I had until the 29th to return it. What’s most disappointing is that my interaction was with the manager, who failed to acknowledge these critical oversights. There was no guidance on pre-departure responsibilities or clear instructions regarding expectations for drop-off. Overall, this was an extremely poor customer service experience.
