I rented a Toy Hauler for the first time at the suggestion of the staff instead of an Auto Transport as I usally rent, This was so much better and more versitile . This is hands down the best thing that U Haul has added to the inventory

The Truck I was going was To be pick up in Paris but store was close no one could be located so I had to go to Clarksville Tn to pickup the Truck. If it not for your customer service center, I would not have a truck

I am out of pocket for the prorated rent I paid to move in on Saturday. I had a reservation, but my reservation was xclld & given to someone else at least 3 times. Chris had to finally have an associate drive one over to the location, so I didn't miss out on my move all together. I had a reservation for 9am & didn't drive off until lunch in a truck due to all the chaos. Chris was able to find a truck but was not able to provide any of the dolly's I reserved or blanket covers for my move. This should not have happened. We were unable to complete the move on Saturday as planned & I feel I should be compensated for the inconvenience; stress & the prorated rent I paid in that was wasted due to the continued delays. I also feel since I didn't use the truck for more than 24 hrs I should receive a refund for the additional day I paid for.

This is an amazing trailer, we hauled a 2005 Dodge caravan with no problem. We love this trailer, and would recommend it for any of your weekend adventures.

Because of limited parking it is difficult to drive a truck out of this location. Too many cars block the exit. Once on Wilma Rudolf Blvd, I did fine. I turned right out of the lot and went to the first light, and turned right again. Then there was a parking lot where I could turn around, go back to that light and turn left on Wilma Rudolf.

When a customer makes a reservation for one location don’t send them to another location for the equipment. If possible bring the equipment to the more convenient location for the customer.

Location is absolutely awful. Getting in is fine, but getting out is a hit and miss nightmare. Also my rent was increased multiple times with the justification being it was inside and secure. But I can't remember the last time I was there and the keypad lock worked. When I was moving out, I just opened the door and walked in. It's also typically very warm inside, so not climate controlled. I wouldn't use UPS again. When I was moving here, some employee kicked or let roll a trailer under the wheels of the truck I was pulling off in. It was literally uphill from the truck. I got out to look and he tells me I should pay attention to my mirrors and what's around me. There was no trailer under the truck when I got in, I had just checked that my car was loaded on the dolly correctly and I did check the mirrors when I started the truck. He was literally standing there watching the whole time and I had to drag this stupid trailer out. Also when I went to get the truck, I was a few hours late because moving doesn't always go on time and dude told me that he'd let it go this time, but if I wasn't on time next time, he wouldn't hold the truck. It was being paid for regardless, so this was an absolutely stupid thing to say just because he wanted to feel some kind of superior. Would never use them again for anything. I get this is for multiple locations, but I don't care. Nothing about this experience was pleasant.

Absolute trash service and product. I checked in at the counter where the associate told me he was new, no problem there. He sets up my reservation and as i asked about insurance, he couldn't answer a single question regarding coverage, how to add it, etc. Nobody else was in the store to ask. After he checked me in, I went outside to wait for him to bring the truck around. He hops out of it and says ''you're good to go!" and runs inside. My partner and I hopped in the truck and immediately got hit in the face with cigarette smoke. It was palpable. Ash was clearly visible in the cupholders, side pockets on the doors, as well as the ones on top of the dash. A brown sticky substance was on the ceiling (as I noted in the picture that I uploaded via the app), in the cupholder, and on the seats as well. Someone clearly had spit tobacco juice out of the driver window but failed miserably as there was a huge, nasty streak running down the whole of the window. We did our best to wipe everything down and move on. The next day as we hit sub zero temperatures, the windshield washer fluid dispenser quit working, we assumed it was empty. It turns out it was just cheap fluid not rated for cold temps. I know this because we opened the hood and added more washer fluid. After doing so, THE FUCKING HOOD WOULD NOT LATCH SHUT. The entire rest of the drive from Omaha to Coeur d'Alene, the hood vibrated up and and down, total safety issue. When we got to Billings, MT from Omaha and opened up the door, our luggage was absolutely covered in a thick layer of snow. The door was latched AND locked when we left Omaha so I have no idea how an inch of snow got into the first three feet of the truck. Fortunately it was so cold that it never melted and turned water and ruined our cargo. uHaul sucks. This is absolutely the last time my associate or I ever give you guys any kind of money.

The drop location is the subject of this review. 9785 W US HWY 20 Angola, IN 46703 (260) 624-4466 I will start by saying that I did return the trailer an hour ago a half late, this fact cost me an extra $20, my fault and I own that, never tried to get out of it. When the paperwork was handed back to me I said to myself “yeah “ with a sigh, as I was upset with myself for being late. Apparently, the guy thought that comment was at him, he immediately turned around got in my face and said “yeah, what?” like he wanted to start a fight. Next thing I knew he was calling me an a-hole and he was going to charge me with a dirty trailer too, before he even opened it up. This guy was so angry he didn’t hear me say that I was upset with myself not him three times ( he was too busy cussing at me). He also stopped in front of me when we were walking, as I went to walk around him he pushed me in the chest with his elbow, this was caught on my trucks dashboard camera and yes, charges were filed and are pending. Nice that 1 month was offered for tornado victims. Unfortunate however that the unit I was placed into had insulation falling all over the place. There is water leaking in the unit that got some of my boxes wet as well. While employees were nice when you spoke to them, they were NOT nice in regards to how they parked their vehicles making it hard to get by them. I mean, why not use a parking space and leave the isles clear for customers?

I told the kid behind the counter Sat. 12-09-23, I was moved out I didn't have time to stay trying to get home and unload before Tornado hit, he said he would take it off auto pay for 12-10-23, it didn't get done so 1 am on the 12-10-23 you charged my card. I drove over there Sunday 12-10-23 to straighten it out, he told me I would get a refund and never did.

The Staff, especially the young laborers, were very polite and helpful. The property was so poorly maintained they were constantly dealing with situations that was out of their control. My unit ceiling fell in and was full of mice. They ruined tons of stuff. I was supposed to have rodent boxes put in my unit (the ones i had were empty) in June and come October they keep telling me theyre on order. They replaced the doors, with no noticed and removed everyones locks and put new ones on. I found out after hours when i couldnt get into my unit. The day i was moving out the unit a few down from me was moving out and they had their ceiling fall and there was a dead cat all decade in their unit. The layout is awful, the alarms on the unit didnt work and the only entrance/exit is on Wilmarudolph and difficulty to exit, especially when they park trucks in the lane.

Terrible service at this location, walked into the office and no one was there, waited for about 20 minutes for someone to show up to ask about renting a unit. When someone showed up I asked to rent the smallest unit they had, was given a 5x10 unit and told it was $69 a month. No problem, paid for a month upfront. Went to the unit and fount that there was no lock in the unit like I was told and the roof was leaking. So I went back to the office and they moved me to an interior unit and told me not to worry about the $10 difference in the price, they would take care of it. Within 3 days of paying for the first month at the price I was given I started receiving emails stating that not only did I owe the $10 difference, but a $20 late fee. I went into the office 3 times to ask them to fix the account and remove their lock from my unit only to receive more emails and a notice of lien in the mail.

upon my initial arrival, seemed as if the staff was new as they were being shown how to do the move-in administrative tasks. got sent to the wrong entrance door and had to go back to the office; then when re-directed, went out to the correct door and was unable to open it, so went back to the office again and had my code supposedly "fixed"; went back to the door and still was unable to enter, so went back again to the office to complain. I was a bit upset having just driven 16.5 hours and having to repeatedly walk back to the office and wasn't as pleasant as I should have been, but the staff really needs to get their act together.

Hard to get a hold of locally, always got sent to the central office, which they cant helpnyou with questions on storage on specific site. Automatically charged my card with no notice, and rates have gone up twice in a year. Insulation falling all over my items. Decided to go with somebody cheaper, cleaner and better customer service. Ever since Kevin Chambers has left, the customer service has went down.

I reserved a storage unit two days prior to my move in date. The day of move in I assign to unit 52 which was occupied, I was then given unit 87 which was also occupied. After 2 hours I was sent to the Providence location and assigned unit 110 which was also occupied. I was finally given unit 402 but nearly fell and broke my hip because the floor was soaked with wax and bug spray according to the staff personnel. The worse thing about my experience is that I made my reservation for a unit that was priced at 64.99 and because the properties failed to update inventory I am now being charged 30.00 more . I was forced to delay my departure until the next day and nobody thought to offer anything for my inconvenience.

The unit that was trying to be offered to me was not cleaned out. The ceiling was falling out of it. Insulation was all over the unit. The person before me made an insurance claim and they still tried to give me the unit when I ask for a new unit, they said that one other was available. We went to go look at the unit and it was already locked and issued to somebody. The location of this U-Haul and storage is not the best. I would not recommend anybody to go there.

Overall, I had a good experience. However, there was a problem with rodents getting into the unit and damaging several items. The units need to be upgraded because the insulation falls into the contents of whatever is stored inside. Mr. Chambers is very personable and seeks to resolve problems when they arise.

The manager "Kevin Chambers Jr" was incompetent to service our company's needs of providing invoices early so we could make payments on time. My company was willing to pay month's in advance if only a simple invoice could be provided in a timely manner and that was never done and they would constantly lock our unit and threaten to kick us out due to non payment but we couldn't pay because we never would receive an invoice.

Worker by the name of Chris at Wilma Rudolph location was very passive aggressive and threatening due to the fact that apparently my vehicle was in the way while I was moving my belongings into the storage unit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The storage unit was horrible. My entire home was in a large unit and 75% of everything I owned was rat-infested. I have had to throw away anything that was fabric. It literally had dead baby mice bodies in my children's box strings and clothing. I choose this unit thinking cause it was on Wilma in a busy part of town it would at least be pest and mice-free. IT WAS NOT!! I have left 2 messages for Management to call me back and have not yet heard from anyone. Were the rats traveled on the ceiling beams the insulation was coated in all my belongings 2in thick. I am out a very large amount of funds replacing all my mattresses lien, and clothing. I would recommend using only plastic totes to store anything here. The rats ate through all the boxes I had. I am truly heartbroken that I've had to replace everything while having to move this week. I would never recommend anyone placing their family items here at this unit.

It was easy to rent a U-Haul it was easy to rent a storage for the free month however the prices that change based on the month of the year seems very sleazy and underhanded it's very wrong for you do that. Simply because of the way you price your equipment I will not be recommending it to anybody until it is fixed you need to have consistent prices throughout the year and that doesn't mean make everything more expensive throughout the year. Have some decency.

I had a one way rental the guy at pick up NEVER told me about a mobile drop off check in at the drop off location I had to pay an additional $20 fee for the drop off location to check in the return of the truck this is not right at all my rental was for 2 days I returned it in 1 day but still was told I couldn't check in the truck because they already done it and charged $20

The staff are super friendly. If I had to make one recommendation, it would be to seal the outdoor units to keep mice out. Other than that, wonderful location.

Mouse poop, fallen insulation that appears moldy, and more spiders than anyone is comfortable with inside my unit. I visited my unit several times a year for nearly two years and there was always more mouse poop, fallen insulation, and spiders than my last visit. These units are filthy and disgusting and cost $15-$25 more than any non-Uhual nearby storage facility. A ludicrous five dollar price increase to “maintain superior cleanliness standards.” Military discount advertised on the website but I was told uhual doesn’t do military discount. I stayed there so long because it would cost more to move everything than to leave it be but with the very clear money grab from uhaul I decided moving elsewhere to be worth it.

Sometimes the locks are rusted from the rain and it’s hard to get into the storages. Oiling them would truly help.
