We noticed the windshield wipers were not working correctly before leaving. The employee that was helping us took a screw driver and adjusted it, said we were good to go. The wiper arm on the drivers side came completely off in the middle of a snow storm in Butte MT at 3am in the morning. We were forced to get off the rode, limp to the nearest hotel and pay to stay for the night.

Clean the equipment before letting the next customer rent it. I needed to sweep the sandbox out of the trailer before I could even think about putting my items inside. Probably charged the last customer for not cleaning it, but left the dirt for the next to clean!

The trailer door would not open without help from a tool. I don't know if it can be lubricated some way, but it needs something. When booking the trailer, we weren't sure how many days we would need it. We were told that we could add a couple extra days and if we returned it early, we would not be charged for these days. We did in fact return it early but were still charged for the days we did not use it. It cost us around $100 more than it should have. The staff at the Billings location however were very kind and helpful.

Don’t be annoyed when customer changes drop off, we paid the fee for the change (why). Originally said Bozeman due to work location however the warm weather allowed us to bring our belongings to our home outside Billings in the end saving us from having to get a storage unit up there. Really enjoyed the U-Haul trailer pulled wonderfully Harley and all our possessions were gratefully inside out of the weather.

rude customer rep. We were called day before our "reserved" truck rental to say they don't have a truck. We flew to Billing to pick it up and had no car to get to another location over 40 miles away. They offered a larger truck, but wanted to charge us for the large size. We reserved it, they should match the reservation price. They look up where closest truck is and it wasn't a true we had to go 40 miles. We found another truck 6 miles away at another Uhaul and had pleasant experience with the worker there. Also We were asked to haul trailer behind our rental (assume that is not the location request), but we declined cause it added time, fuel charges and not on our route and trailer not at rental location. The discount they offered would have been mute. If you don't hire drivers, why doesn't the compensation take those factors in account, so it reflects a true discount.

Snowed here the last two days about 4". I made reservations 2 days ago. The attendant gives me the keys tells me which van to take. It's covered in snow. I went to my own car got my snow brush and cleaned it up as well spent 20 minutes warming it up. That van should have been hot and ready when I got there. A simple phone call to verify, yes, I'll be there and clean and warm the van. Service at this location is usually AWESOME. . Today it totally sucked A**. It took 15 minutes for someone to help me when I came in for my appointment. I will always use UHAUL for propane and Rentals for moving and buying appliances and furniture. You guys are convenient to me. But this shit was unreal. I should charge you 60 bucks for the work I had to do. I don't wish for anyone to get disciplined over this. Just a simple talk. Take care of your customers!

I had Numerous things stolen from the storage unit. The lock on door provided by U-haul was faulty. We had insurance on the items in storage through uhaul. However, filed a lost report, it took me 4 to 5 times to even get an answer back. And then they told me that it wasn't filled out right. So I called them and ask how they wanted it broken out? Never heard back. So I'm out probably $8000 worth of goods because of their neglect. Also their cameras weren't working during the time items with stolen. I would never use there storage again.

I rented my two storage units about four years ago. I was never able to access the unit. I asked for assistance in getting into my unit multiple times in one day and not one person took the time to walk outside and help. Even when set up on auto pay as asked the rate was still raised. No I would not recommend. Horrible service and very high rates.

Storage unit was fine, docking a star for the close out via website debacle. I tried to use the online move out tool without success. When I completed the process, it logged me out of the page but it also said I completed it and that I should expect a completion notice via email within 48 hours. I thought that was unusual so I allowed the time to pass and even a few extra days for the Fourth of July. Nothing. So I go in and explain what happened and they close me out real quick. Why can't the site just freaking work?! It took me longer to go through the instructions and take pictures than dealing with the human. And I ended up having to do both.

My unit was extremely dirty with dirt, sand, leaves, etc..and multiple boxes had water or moisture damage. The fees increased very regularly and in the explanation, the increase was to maintain clean units etc. that part was really disappointing. Jackson was always flexible with me which I appreciated.

Becky is amazing, she is helpful and friendly beyond what I expected from past interactions at this location! She carries boxes, fixed my scheduling error and gave amazing packing tips. I had been in several times before to get packing supplies and corridinate our move.The manager/ supervisor was always on his cell phone. Very little eye contact and avoided helping to move packing boxes on 2 separate visits...he could take some lessons. My rating is based on employee above.

I mainly dealt with Jackson and Becky. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful though. I did want to take a second to really thank Jackson and Becky though. They went above and beyond in every way that they could to help us. Super sweet and so very helpful. They kept a really clean store and the property never was dirty. 10/10 will have recommended them to friends and colleagues. Would, in a heartbeat, use this U-Haul just for them if I ever needed to again. Thank you!!

I was in a panic to get my friends property mood. I called uhaul and asked if they had a truck or trailer, 2 men to load everything and he asked when I needed them by. I replied yesterday. OK today as soon as possible. By 1:00 I had a truck and 2 men at my friend's place. It took them 3 hrs to have it all out and unloaded into a storage unit! I was impressed!

The service was fantastic, but when I went to use my unit for the first time my code didn't work for me, I think it's someone elses code, and I set the alarm off and I didn't get to unload anything and I had to wait to the next day for staff hours.

I recently had to do a emergency move, and so I called u-haul. They got me the truck I wanted, and even threw in a storage unit and lock for free. I have never heard of anything like this or experienced it. They were there for me, with absolutely no problems. They also let me park the truck I rented from them on there property, since I have no where to live, let alone a place for the rental . I would recommend them everytime.

Becky is top-notch! She is patient and informative and available. Love how she has such great customer focus and knowledge of her job. It was over 100 degrees inside the facility where the employees were working and helping customers. They stated the air conditioner had gone down. That was really sad to see. Your employees deserve better than that.

I am very pleased with the overall experience on renting a moving truck and rental unit. The room is very clean and easily accessible and convenient with access to using their dollie and flatbed inside the storage facility . I like the padlock they provide is one you can use later on anything vs the bolt type used at many other facilities used only for storage unit doors. Monthly Uhaul rental prices are lower than other storage unit prices I've dealt with and if you are renting one of their trucks they give you one month free on your rental storage unit! Uhaul will always be my go to place when needing to rent a storage facility.

The local uhaul office is great. I absolutely hate that when I call the phone number listed I get someone who isn’t at the store. I was on hold multiple times for 30+ minutes. When I call a local number I expect to speak with a local person.

The over head door was broken from day one. We asked to have it fixed but it never was. We had to use a ladder to hold it up. Good thing it never came crashing down on anyone. Would have been a nice little lawsuit since we asked a couple of times to get it done. Staff are just simply rude now since management change and your price are way high. We have 4 other units same size for $100 less per month. After 3 years doing business with these folks, everything from renting as many as 8 units at a time and renting multiple trucks for multiple days, we are done and will not spend another dime with them. We will also do our best to steer storage customers to our new facility or others we have better relationships with.

I told the person on the phone that I had a 15' u-haul and wanted to make sure that I had enough space to fit my things and asked if the 7x14x10 was the biggest. She said she could size me up to 5x10x10 and move outside. Well this was over the phone and I was exhausted so didn't think about the math. When I arrived after hours as arranged, I realized the error and that the 5x10x10 was little more than a closet and would not come close to fitting everything. Instead of being done with my extremely long move, I now have to take a day off work to sort this out and do not have nearly as many people to help move stuff. What a poor experience
