Renting a vehicle without a full tank of fuel is idiotic. They said to bring it back at the same level, in this case 1/4. Had I had to put extra fuel in it and brought it back at 1/2 full, do you refund me? Stupid way to do business. Rent it full, return it full is the rental car industry standard. Otherwise things were fine.

The store employee felt a bit curt and seemed frustrated with me having to align my truck closer to the trailer. I think a little more patience can go a long way. There were no other customers in or around the store at this time.

I spent $3,000 with UHaul, drove 2,500 miles in three days, unloaded a 20' van myself. When returning the van, David was abrupt and rude. I parked the van in the yard where I had been told to do previously. David told me I had to bring it up from where I had been told to park it in the yard to the check in/ rental return spot. The yard is icy and I had slipped multiple times jarring my back. I was exhausted. I wanted him to move it up for me to which he replied it "ISN'T MY JOB!" So as I was leaving to do as asked I complained that they were not customer friendly. To which David decided to instigate an argument. Bullying with phases like "It's in the contract?" And "we won't check you in until you move the van to the check out/rental return spot." His tone was very derogatory and his attitude unfitting (the kid has a huge chip on his shoulder). Then he asked if I had returned the van clean in such a tone I was offended. I told him he was being insulting and unprofessional. I told him to STOP multiple times and that he was making things worse but he kept running is mouth. He said he was going to refuse service to me so I asked for his name and told him I will file a complaint (which I will do)... It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. NOT MY JOB attitude. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!!! David is extremely Argumentative, looking to add more conflict instead of helping. LAZY!!!!! To top it off, I had a male friend with me when I returned the rental to whom David told him that I shouldn't complain to someone who could charge me more money. That's right, he essentially threatened to find an excuse to charge me more!!! (My friend told him, I wouldn't be complaining if he did his job). Furthermore, the bay door is broken to my rental unit and has been dangerous and a huge inconvenience. Still not repaired! Snow removal poor. I slipped many times and was wearing boots with great treads. Snow in front of my unit made it difficult to move items into the unit and cause multiple near mis incidents. Snow even made it difficult to use the dolly because the wheels were compacted with it and the threads to the van ramp filled with snow from in front of the unit. Many of my items ended up with snow on them. If the area had been cleared of the snow like many of the other units then none of those snow related issues would have occurred. Even the van ramp got frozen into the snow because the area wasn't cleared making it very difficult to dislodge. Terrible experience!!!!! Instead of rearranging trinkets on display, those boys upfront should be earning their pay. Picking up a shoveling and helping a customer should be at the top of their priority instead of trying to figure out the least amount of work they can do to get a paycheck ... Maybe they should spend a day in the garage where the men actually work!!!

Used the early check in a day before... walked in and drove out with the uhaul truck in less than 10 min. Fast , easy, and was very convenient and reliable!

The truck was dirty, 3 qts low on oil, none of the accessory outlets worked, the tie rails were week, the truck smelled of smoke and even windows were filthy and it did not have cruise. Called during our cross country move and was told to report problems when I returned the truck, when returned the truck was given a 1-800 number to call. Was told from that call someone would contact me in 72 hours yet no one ever called. The customer service is a run around with no answers or actual service. Would recommend Penske or another company to anyone moving.

We were charged or 7 extra miles. The only extra distances we traveled were around one city block so we could back into the destination driveway more safely and two extra blocks in Billings to fuel the truck. Total of perhaps a half mile. I told the pick up location that I was sure that the miles allotted were not sufficient, being 5 to 10 miles less than needed. She said this is what the central dispatch had established as adequate. The cost was under three dollars extra, which is peanuts, but one wonders about U-Haul's commitment to accuracy and customer service.

Need more help at counter. Walked into store, and no one showed up for 15 minutes. We looked everywhere to find someone, then four other customers lined up behind us. Two ended up leaving since no one was around. Great UHaul truck! It was new and clean!

It was a night time drop. No one was there.....the distance from the location we unloaded was excessive. Staff does not search for the closest drop off. Must of just pick something without thought.
