The location was great. Very convenient with a wide selection of trucks and supplies inside the location. The staff were very helpful. The App was terrible. I had to enter information I had entered previously when I ordered online and then checked in on the App the day before U was to pick up my ordered truck. Online instructions on how to use the App to pick up the truck were ludicrously inadequate, implying it was as simple as checking in for an airline flight. Not so! I had to re-enter information and upload pictures of the vehicle, which required moving the truck to an open area to gain access to all sides of the truck. The only positive was the AI used to confirm the mileage and fuel level. I was instructed to upload my driver’s license a 2nd time. I provided my sister’s phone number, only to learn later she was never called. I was told to provide a verification of my new address and spent extra time to ensure I had a pdf available to upload from my phone, but then was never asked for it when I checked in. The App was not an efficient use of my time and even though I arrived early to pick up the truck, it took around 30 minutes or more to check in.
Katherine LThe pick up experience was very good. I was processed quickly and the attendant in the lot inspected the trailer and attached to my truck in an efficient manner. This is a well run location.
WILLIAM MMy original pickup location was changed due to an equipment shortage. The change was reflected on my rental agreement, but it would have been nice to receive a separate message alerting me to the change.

Darren SThe trucks are dated, they aren't well maintained. I had to go through 3 trucks to get a half way decent one without the smokey smell. Initially the guy was fine with the first exchange but grew more and more impatient and some one unenthusiastic as I returned the keys a couple of more times. The engine light was on and I was too exhausted to return another key because of his attitude. The amounts changed made me realized that I should have just rented from Enterprise and as the final price for the crappy truck was insane. Yea, nope I won't return. Since it appears he doesn't have child care, his baby is cute.

David VI would recommend it, but I would have to add that the presence of a rat bait box in the unit was concerning. I’m glad some action is being taken to control rats, but it made me pause when I saw it. Also, the location has many men outside the building asking if we want help unloading. It was un-nerving.

James BExcellent service!! I have rented the location on three separate occasions including the car carrier twice and the 12x6 trailer. On the last rental of the car trailer, manager Brian quickly got me going. He and staff are very pleasant tag to work with. Highly recommended location—5 stars!!

GORMAN JI always use uhaul, and have had good experiences, this last one was okay except the check engine light stayed on and made me nervous.
RUTH HCheck engine light of vehicle was on the entire time. Truck smelt STRONGLY of exhaust fumes. Vehicle needs maintenance before continuing to be on the road

EDUARDO EThis location advised that the rental was a set amount of mileage and days and there would be no rebate for early return - which was not what the original location told us. It was a very convenient drop off. However, we filled the gas to a level slightly above the amount of gas that was in the van when we picked it up, but later got a receipt for a charge for an additional two gallons of gas. (It was 5/8 full at pick up and we filled it to 6/8 full). Drop off location receipt claimed it was less. Not happy with the nickel and diming and felt a bit cheated.

CHRISTIAN HVery poor experience, Drop off location changed 45 minutes away from home instead of the location I originally requested. Internet down at pickup, couldn't find the reservation. Never again.

TABITHA MThe vehicle maintenance light (low/add oil) for the10 footer was on during the entire trip. The tow dolly brake light was not operating. The Representative was fixing the problem only to walk away to assist another customer. It took 45 mins before the Representative retuned to continue working on the brake light. It took two and half hours after attaching the tow dolly before departing the U-Haul office. The customer service begin on a good note only to falter at the end.
CORDELL TI was originally supposed to rent my truck from another location via the contact-free option, but that truck was blocked. I had to quickly pivot to this location. The rep was great! He got us in and out quickly.
Robin SThe whole experience was as anticipated. Very smooth from start to finish. We rented a basically brand new van that was intimidating by its size initially but was really easy to drive and to load. Greatly appreciate this easy process during a stressful time during moving.

DENNIS ENo one met me at the equipment return, and when I went inside, the employee at the desk just mumbled ‘leave the keys in the front seat and we will email you a receipt’. I had to ask them to repeat themselves so I could hear what they were saying. Terrible customer service.
ANGELICA PPrime time busy schedule on a Saturday morning, but the manager went above and beyond to make sure I had the right trailer for the move necessary to help my daughter. I’ve always had great service at the U-Haul on Richmond Highway in Alexandria, today was that next level of service one never forgets.
MICHAEL BThis location had only 1 person to help customers. He checked customer in and helped answer their questions. Sign them with their ID AND TOOK THEIR PAYMENT . ISSUED THEM A COPY OF THEUR CONTRACT AND THEN WENT OUT TO HOOK UP MY TRAILER. WHILE OTHER CUSTOMER WERE KEPT WAITING IN THE OFFICE. IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT BUT SOMEONE WAS AT FAULT FOR NOT HAVING THE AMOUNT OF PERSONELL WORKING AT THIS LOCATION. THANK YOU.

KEVIN KI was told I would receive confirmation that the transaction is complete. I have not received that confirmation. Otherwise, I appreciate the options provided and the quick support to ensure I had the resources and information needed.
JAMES WYou can make sure the person in charge is fair. I rented the truck on Tuesday, June 17th and the first truck had one light and a half tank of gas, so we got another truck and it had a quarter tank of gas. We returned the truck with a little over a quarter tank of gas and was charged for a half tank of gas. If you are renting trucks as a business you should be honest to the customers. I did not like the service I got today and I hope you don’t treat other customers the way I got treated today.

Jason FOur pickup location was not open when we arrived 1hr late do to heavy traffic in Alexandria VA. We were sent to another location to pick up another trailer. That location was great. The trailer had a wiring issue that was making my truck keep telling me for 2 hrs the turn signals and the trailer was connected and disconnected. You should check the ground wire.
William HWhen I picked up my equipment, they didn’t check my out correctly so the system didn’t give me a drop-off location and they didn’t give me all the proper paperwork. Luckily I called ahead to my preferred drop-off location and they fixed it for me so I could drop it after hours.

Max HHaving to get back out onto the busy street and go next door to drop the trailer was a pain. Should be able to drop the trailer at the address indicated by Google Maps. Especially at a location I had never been to before.
JAMES ENo encontre gas station en el camino y tuve que devolver el truck con cuatro (4) o cinco (5) galones menos y el " fuc---g manager de dicha location me hizo un bill por 16 galones de gasolina, por valor de $70 dollares y un recargo de $ 30 dollares. Son un os "LADRONES-ATRACADORES". Recurrire a las redes sociales para advertirles a todos los usuarios de esta gran compania, que cuando tengan que devolver cualquier vehiculo a esta location se fijen en el cobro de combustible para NO ser "ROBADOS" como me paso a mi.
