I've rented many times before, I'm a repeat customer. However.I was told the 5x8 box trailer would be $99 plus tax for my rental, only to be told on my return it was $142 ?? I asked how is that and how does it break down, but was told it would be on my emailed receipt, which I HAVEN'T received yet??? I'll call, why isn't your phone # listed with your address?

Julio PI’ve been to this location several times and had no issue at all. I’ve used the app before. On this rental I checked in /out with it. My only difficulty was being able to find the chart that showed how much gas to replace. I ended up finding it somewhere else. The specific link on the app did not resolve. I think I found it on my contract!

Jerice WI swept out the back of the truck before we loaded up our belongings as it was pretty dirty and when i picked up the truck, the outer gas cap was not attached, but hanging. It had been raining that day but luckily, the truck worked fine. Easy pick up and easy drop off. Good price.

Last time I rented the process wasn’t in place so fortunately I had taken all of my own pictures and provided them to customer service to resolve the over billing issue. Was long and stressful. The new improvements to your app made a placeholder for every part that could be a conflict. Good job.

Andrew SEveryone at the location in Altamonte Springs were great to work with from beginning to end. The truck I rented on the other hand was a little bit rough. A lot of play in the steering wheel was some what of challenge. This is nothing that would prevent me from using this location again.
Daniel LCustomer Service was AWESOME. When I made the reservation I was told the box truck included a Hand Cart so we did not add one. Sadly once we got to my house to pack there WASN'T one. Thankfully my friend's two strong sons did without but we were unable to move the Washer & Dryer due to this fact. I'm not sure WHY it wasn't there but it was a bit frustrating for sure.

TIMOTHY JOne of the customer service representatives was more interested in gossiping with the co worker than taking care of me. Ultimately, when I received the text about my reservation, it said that the pick up was for 4 pm. Who the heck needs a truck at 4pm? I went back inside and asked her about that. Her response was “oh, you wanted it earlier?” If you would have asked me you would’ve known. Also, I was given a drop off location 12 miles from my house. I questioned why I couldn’t drop it off at the location 1.5 miles from my house. She didn’t know, and that’s what the computer gave her. Not happy because that took me over the miles and I had to pay for extra 13 miles.

Louis FThe staff was quite friendly and attentive! The issue lies in the truck itself. The fuel was incorrectly shown in the paperwork as 1/4 tank available when in reality, about 1/16 of a tank was available. I discovered this in a rush just before leaving the facility. I decided to stop at a gasoline station to get enough gas to get to the destination I have laborers waiting on me. Since the mistrust with uhaul was already there with the gas amount lie, I decided to check the back for the dolly we discussed with great extent throughout the rental process. To my freaking surprise, the dilly was not there! Now, I had to drive all the way back to uhaul pickup to wait for a dolly. I WAITED for a dolly at a uhaul! Why?! It was agreed upon at time of rental. By the way, that truck had electric problems. The wipers randomly turned on and interior cab would not turn off. I got to the site late due to these mishaps caused by uhaul and my laborers had to leave for the next day. Fine. I called, they extended to 3:45pm next day no charge. Great! Next morning, battery dead. The running lights and interior cab lights drained the battery and I had to charge it for hours to get it running again with no cell service! Absolute nightmare! Then, uhaul decided it ethical to charge me an extra day after all this?! What happened to uhaul?! I used to love working with them!

Just because I don’t know the legality of hunting down someone to pay for a storage unit who paid his storage unit on time all the time when I moved out.

gianluca a | Overall ExperienceMoving in seemed pretty simple. But the move out process was poor. I have used u-haul for many years when I needed to move or store things. I was told on move in and out that there would be a pro rated rent for any time not used for the month. I confirmed the amount on the day we moved out, with 9 days used during that month. After 5 days, I still hadn't received any refund. I called and spoke with the manager and owner of the facility, both saying that it's not possible that I was told that. I am now being told that nothing can be done because it is a nationwide policy for no refunds and yet they are able to rent out the unit I have paid for and have no access to. I contacted corporate and initially was told that it was based on each location's discretion. The customer service representative on the phone at corporate was professional, but was unable to help on her end as the funds would have to be released from the store specifically. A few moments later being told that the policy did indeed change. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, this company's policy has now cost them my business and anyone else's that I come in contact with. This facility and staff in particular will never be recommended.
