I use U-Haul for many things , picking up oversized equipment , tools , haul furniture , helping friends move . I especially like mobile check in/out service . The one thing I absolutely disagree with U-Haul on is the ridiculous charge for “wrong location” drop off . As a business owner I find This up- charge is unnecessary. Then again U-Haul is a franchise and this comment will be dissipated into nothing. Overall I enjoy the convenience of U-Haul and what it offers . Thank you

This truck is clean but has a smell of the oil burner and doors needs to slam the doors in order to close. I had been used ihaul 5 times this year and this one was my first little unhappy with the truck ( not got for the environment)

It would be great if all trucks came with a backup camera and a lock. We have rented three trucks in the last two months and two had a backup camera and one came with a lock for the rear door. A small thing, but it would make the process smoother.

Muffler hanger was loose and rattled the whole time, waking my neighbors up when I left early. Drivers seat belt had problems locking and the transmission slipped a lot. The truck was clean and got the job done but will request a different truck next time.

To be clear, my average rating is NOT for the location. It’s for the overall experience of this rental. I notice this survey asks nothing about U-Haul itself and only asks about specific locations. I don’t mind so much that both of my locations were changed, but I do mind that the correct information wasn’t sent to the new pickup location, and I really mind that U-Haul tried to charge me for being 12 miles over when more than half of those miles were from having to drive to/from locations that I didn’t choose. I chose my locations very carefully when I ordered the rental and calculated miles between them, plus a pad for refueling. Luckily the employee at the dropoff location agreed and was able to override the additional charge, but this experience means I will never rent from U-Haul again. Again, this location was fine. My complaint has to do with the overall U-Haul experience.

I want to call out Angel for the above and beyond customer service (I think this is the manager). I had two interactions and he was just very accommodating, relaxed, very good communication, etc. A couple of his workers were kinda slow on the computer but he was super patient with them and moved everything along really quickly. I really liked that he treated them with respect. This guy has this place running very smoothly and they are lucky to have him running this location.

Originally I was supposed to pick up my uhaul from a 3rd party place that the uhaul app allowed me to pick up the truck at 8am but when getting there, the 3rd party company wasn’t open until 10am, so I had to contact uhaul’s customer service to find another location which was this location which was very helpful luckily.

Great experience. Very simple to get the truck we needed - and we were able to pick it up the same day. The General Manager of this location (Angel Banuelos) was awesome - very knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to make our move efficiently and with the total backup and assistance of the staff at our U-Haul location.

I’ve used u-haul for all my moves in the past and this is truly the worst location. Main issue is the employees but the truck wasn’t in great condition either. 1: I booked online and got a notice saying I would owe $110 at the time of pickup. Then I arrive at the location exactly at the time of my booking and the staff suddenly has a bunch of questions for me that were already answered in the web booking… odd and not faith instilling.. then at the end of the redundant questions they now tell me it’s gonna cost $160 down…. 2: Truck smelled like sweat and mildew 3: I returned the truck at 5pm which was before the end of the rental and then the employees kept telling me I owed them $304 which seemed VERY high and they were impatient to get the card processed. Once the card was processed and I returned home I noticed that they had charged me $144 which meant the TOTAL was $304 but because I paid a deposit the remainder was $144. I am baffled at to why no one ever made this clear and the employees kept rattling on only mentioning the $304 number when charging the card. Whole thing was irritating and unprofessional to a degree where I will probably choose a different rental service all together in the future

The truck was fine. Not really clean, but on par with the others I've rented in the past. Always fine and not a problem. The reason for my "average" rating was the fact that I was charged a full day because I brought back the truck about 40 minutes "late" (10:40am pick up and 11:20 drop off. To charge me a full day for that is pretty petty.

I used the app to locate a cargo van or pickup truck. The app said these vehicles were available at this location so I immediately went over. When I arrived, the gentleman told me they no longer have those vehicles. I asked twice if they could honor the same price at the truck or van. They said no. I decided to rent the 10’ box truck anyway since I already wasted time coming there since the app said the pickup truck and cargo can were available. Anyway, when I returned the box truck at the end of the day, the kind worker gave me the total and asked why I didn’t rent a van or pickup trucks. I told him they didn’t have any in the morning. He asked if they offered me to match the price for the van or pickup. I told him they didn’t offer to and that I asked but was denied. He said they often do match the price. I’m very bummed that i wasn’t offered the price match. I’m inclined to never use U-Haul again.

I booked a storage unit the day before, arrived at facility, filled in the paperwork, made payment etc etc and at the end of it all they actually didn't have a free unit. Terrible service.

I had rented a 5x5x7 storage except the storage unit was on a second level above ground. All of the 5x5x7 were on the second level above ground. It was physically impossible to store a refrigerator and a stove on that level. The units that were on the ground floor were easy to access except they were only 5x5x5. I couldn't store my refrigerator in that space. It was extremely inconvenient, I had to spend money on gas to get to that location using the uhaul truck that i had rented. It was a waste of time and money. I expect my refund. I hated the experience. Very disappointed.

I booked my storage unit online, and was planning to move in later that night. I had road tripped to LA from New York, and was relying on being able to drop all my belongings off somewhere after a week and a half on the road. An hour or so after I received my booking confirmation, I got a call from Angel at your facility saying that he “doesn’t know” why I was able to book the unit online, as he had “promised it to someone.” I asked him to provide a different unit for me and he could only offer units that were about $100-$150 more. I understand that sometimes online systems can glitch, but when I am a few hours away from dropping off my things and my reservation is cancelled due to an error on Uhaul’s part, I would at least expect another unit to be offered to me. I then asked to be sent a cancellation confirmation for my records as I had already put my credit card info in, and I was told that Uhaul “doesn’t do those.” I was extremely inconvenienced by your facility and the way it was handled was absolutely not up to customer service standards.

I gave 4 stars because of the weird layout of the indoor storage units. It was definitely a puzzle game to manage the the stairs and available moving carts, that were very helpful might i add, but I would still recommend highly and even use again if I need to. The staff there was super nice and helpful, I was always there on a Sunday so they actually got to know me quickly even though it was months between me going into my storage. I thought that was very nice ^_^

Upon the start of my storage unit reservation, the staff failed to tell me that access ended at 10pm, and I went at 10:15pm a few nights later to access my things in storage, but was locked out because access stopped 15 minutes earlier, so I had to change my plans the next day so that I could get my stuff. I lost time and money due to this inconvenient lack of communication from the staff. Also, when I rented a moving van and ended the storage unit rental contract, the staff processed my van rental, but neglected to close out the storage unit rental as well, so I was billed later on for the next month, even though I had already ended to reservation, and I inconveniently lost time by calling Uhaul to fix that staff member’s mistake.

The staff was the best part of this facility, they were all very helpful & nice. My storage unit was not the best. The doors were damaged & would not close completely therefore dust, dirt, bugs would get into my unit leaving all my stuff dirty. I told the manager Angel & he said he would get back to me & never did so I decided to move my storage elsewhere. I understand he is very busy due to the facility always being very busy but I preferred finding a unit indoors & out of the sun.

I was forced to pay my last month in full even though I only used the storage for 1 week. This is why you are getting this review. I should not have to pay for space and time I did not use. That is unacceptable and you should refund me the difference. Roches in the facility but not in my unit thank God. I have pictures. There were a lot of Ants in my unit.. staff me ever said they have issues with rats but that’s why traps are in each unit...
