Bob at the Lake Street, Aurora, IL location helped me throughout the rental process. He was very helpful and courteous. His suggestions and helpful guidance made the rental process very promising. I definitely recommend this location for moving rental needs.

I planned a rental at the Rt59/Ogden for a 20 ft truck. I received a phone call that you wanted me to transport a trailer for you. My husband agreed bc you offered a $50 credit to help you. I received a call that location doesn’t have a 20 ft truck. You have one on Lake Street. I arrived at Lake Street only to find out that this happens multiple times….they don’t have a truck available. She was nice , apologized but that doesn’t help me vet the truck I rented a month ago. I leave, upset and call the toll free number to try & get this resolved. I was then sent to another location to pick up the truck. It ended up being a 26 foot and towing a trailer for your company. I lost my air pods when I was trying to get into my sisters car after being denied a truck. I still cannot believe the I rented a truck a month ago and on the day I am racing all over town to get this truck for our interstate move. I have relied on Uhaul in the past but honestly you have lost a customer. I expressed my disappointment but a week later no one even cares enough to call and apologize for and my friends inconvenience.

I arrived at the designated U-Haul center and used mobile check in. In that process a message showed that the equiptment I reserved was not there and was directed to call an 800 number. Upon calling I was greeted by a very pleasant person who was able to locate a vehicle - further away from where I the location I needed the truck for. Needless to say, it was unconvenient.

The store manager was super professional. They look serious. But the entire service was on point. This will be my go-to U-Haul store as long as I live in the locality.

Employee was very slow because he was having long conversations with other customers about Elon Musk and the great work he’s doing in Washington DC, however he didn’t think so. There was a long line and he was not able to multi task and get people serviced faster. I waited in line 30minutes to get a trailer.

Get better customer service and not have lazy people working for your business. If there’s no fuel in the truck put some fuel in before customers arrive to pick up the truck. Walk the lot with the customer to find the truck that was reserved.

David, the Manager, was outstanding in answering all my questions, his store provides all the materials if needed for packing. Prices were much better than HD or Lowes. Pick up was easy and fast. Highly recommend using this store for all future rental needs.

I waited 45 minutes in line to pick up the truck that I had reserved. When I picked up the truck, they told it had no gas and I barely made it to a gas station. It also smelled so nasty of cigarette smoke. I have rented over 10 trucks from uHaul and I can say I never had a bad experience until this time.

There is no parking available. To pick up a rental truck you have to park in the adjacent shopping mall parking lot but have to walk in the snow to the UHaul location. Haul is making a profit from us customers and yet we have to park far away to pick up the rental truck.

Very uncomfortable experience with both men helping me out. What I thought would have been an easy process turned out to be a lengthy one. Both men were talking over each other there was a lot of back and fourth about how things are done between both men. (Again very uncomfortable) I had to tell them more than once guys please can we just get this going I’m not trying to sit here listening I’m just trying to move in and out before you guys close. The Caucasian man kept talking poorly about the Hispanic man. And when I went to return the truck no one wanted to take the keys from me they kept sending me back and fourth and I told the Hispanic man look enough I just had abdominal surgery I can’t keep going back and fourth here are the keys and you both figure it out. I can’t keep going back and fourth until one of you guys figures out who will take care of my drop off.

Overall the experience was great and the manager Fave was very accommodating, just his customer service alone made this a 5 star experience. Also, the facility was maintained overall, but we did notice a dead rat on the floor during a few of our visits and the bathroom could have been kept clean a bit more often. I also wish the storage doors were floor to ceiling so that any pests that may be in the amhalls cannkt enter the lockers.

My wife and I had our storage unit for 7 ½ years, and it's been a great experience. The facility is always clean, and we never worried about our belongings. What really sets them apart is the staff. Bob, Skylar, and Kevin(manager) went above and beyond to be helpful – they truly care about their customers. If you're looking for a storage unit and or Uhaul needs; I can't recommend them enough. Amazing location with great and personable staff. Thank you from the Andersons.

Communication and providing information accurately from the beginning with this location has been horrendous. Contacting the location in regards to storage unit and access to the facility hasn’t provided any customer and has completely made my moving experience beyond stressful. Provided feedback and concerns to customer service to contact GM of facility after customer service attempted several times to speak with GM no response and being told from customer service the GM will contact me. problems still exist, my moving is still pending and no updates on resolution, all due to u-haul not holding accountable parties accountable to the standards and policies that the company states it value

There were mixups when trying to pick up the truck. This mixup cost 2 hours of overtime cost for our movers. We went to the address for the truck pickup and told to go to another address. We had to buy extra Ubers to get to each site also

The floor of my storage unit was really dirty. There was some kind of oil stain and it just wasn’t a suitable place to keep a mattress that I intended to use again or really any of my other possessions, so I had to find a different storage facility. They also charge $10 extra per month to have access to your storage unit after 7pm, which was not disclosed when I initially reserved the unit. The staff was helpful and friendly, but everything else about my experience was pretty terrible.

It was easy to get my unit leased. The area was always clean and easy to access. My only challenge was that the unit was on the second floor with no elevator so everything had to be carried up the stairs.
