The young lady who was working the desk was amazing she had 4 of us all trying to pick up different things all at the same time and one drop off. She bounced back and forth getting us all taken care of at the same time. The customer service she displayed is so rear in today's world. Uhaul should promote her to a trainer. She is a true asset to your company. Well done

There is a sign at the drop-off at this location that tells customers to wait in the drop-off equipment for assistance during business hours. Standard protocol is to go in the office, so waiting with the vehicle is not useful. The app does not appear to negotiate access to the camera correctly for scanning the back of the license, at least in the case of iPhones.

Location is in a wide open shopping center with much space to maneuver; the Boone location is off a two lane road with an uphill entrance. Not many other locations to choose from in Boone, but since we are re-locating to Boone it was better than, say, having to return the truck, say, to Charlotte or Greensboro.After hours, so no attendant on duty. Called 24/7 number to report the truck return; Joshua was very thorough.

VINCENT BA couple of ways you could improve your customers' experience with your location is to make sure your employees are properly trained so that misinformation would not be passed onto the customer. Another way to improve is to find friendlier people to work for you. Also, a check engine light that is lit up is a sign of not properly maintaining your equipment.

GREGORY LOne thing and most important is informing about the mileage. I was told to have the truck back by the next morning only. I paid $80 plus and had the truck back by 9AM next morning, by noon I noticed an additional charge of $320.00 due to traveling 248 miles. Man! It sure would've been nice to have been charged beforehand, $400.00 plus dollars for 248 miles and 18 hours:)

And the “free lock” was as covered in heavy dust. The latch is rusty and very hard to open and close. And that rope to open and close the door felt like a crusty sock. I also said I was going to move in the 8th and I arrived and had to call the office to move their parked trucks out of the way so I could access the unit. And if it wasn’t for the knife I was carrying I wouldn’t have been able to remove the latch. Definitely don’t recommend unless you wanna feel scammed.

I was told that I could use those consecutively but when I tried to call and verify at the end of the first month, I could never get through to Jennifer who needed to make the decision. Her ineptitude caused me to go over the first free month and since they did not honor their word and let me have the 2nd free month, I had to pay a whole month's rent for storage of a simple antique desk. I was entitled to 2 free months. The greed and unfriendliness makes me want to never recommend UHaul in Boone on hwy 105.

If I had been notified that it was due, even the day of, I would have paid on time. Please considering allowing people to prepay and not have to wait until the day off to pay. I am aware there is an automatic payment option, but my rental was so short I did not want to use this feature. Thank you.
Michael M | Overall ExperienceOur confirmed reservation for a 20' truck was 'bumped' therefore we had no truck for moving. This was college move out/in weekend. The staff showed no concern at all and offered no solutions. We decided to rent a storage unit for 24 hours to be able to store and protect the large amount of home items we needed to move. The staff made no efforts to help or support us. Actually acting quite aloof about the whole issue. Not their problem, they didn't care. We rented a 10x10. As we were moving in to the unit, one staff member repeatedly was very aggressively driving past us, on a corner, and loudly telling us we had to move out of the way. It was unnecessary to be so aggressive. We were trying to stay out of the way with very little room to park our vehicles to unload/load. Other clients managed to get around us fine. I would never use this site again, nor Uhaul and I will be SURE to inform my friends/family of this nightmare situation. The biggest issue I have is the absolute lack of care or concern by the staff that Uhaul had caused this problem for us. We had our reservation and Uhaul didn't follow through with the vehicle.

The only reason I’m not indicating “poor” for overall experience is because Olivia, the college student who seemed to be running the show both times I went into the office, was getting it done. She provided good customer service and seems like she’s got a bright future ahead. But ultimately the facility’s condition caused my wife and I to find storage elsewhere.
