I rented a 20' truck but the keys could not be located at 7:15 am on a Saturday, so I was forced into a 15' truck that could actually get out and on the road. The person taking care of me on checkout was very professional, as was the check back in person when I dropped off the vehicle. In my opinion you need to work a way in so you don't have to gas up the vehicle unless you drop it off and pay big time per gallon of gas penalty. It's stressful enough for reg time peeps to drive these things and keep them safe, but the getting into a gas station adds stress. PEACE!

This is multiple times that I have been there. The same guy helps me out with the baseball hat on is always straightforward. Very helpful. Knows what he’s doing.

Maintain the trucks. Passenger door wouldn’t close properly. Your checkin app totally sucks, is hard to navigate, and constantly tries to sell you things that you don’t want.

I have a bill for 75.17, but I have two charges on my bank account please make that make sense. It's always something with place. I try to avoid using uhaul. I don't have time for this.

Make sure that the tow button is not on. Do not park the truck so close together in the lot or pull them out yourselves so that I am not at risk of bumping into another truck. It would be even better if you could leave enough room where the mirrors could be extended, and I don’t have to get out after pulling the truck out and open the mirror.

I'm not sure if you need to do anything better, the 2 young men that worked Sunday morning 3-3-2024 are absolutely amazing. They were at work early before 9, and my pick up was at 8am. They saw that I was having trouble with the app, and they swung into action. They were really nice and patient while I was irritated.They helped me so quick and sent me on my way.

Facility is run down, truck that we rented was filthy couldn’t even see out the windshield. I was glad we only needed it for a few hours. And the gas level was below a 1/4 of a tank. Why wouldn’t you make sure the vehicles were full for your customers? They have a busy day ahead of them and don’t really need to start at a gas station.

Elwin was incredible...very helpful and acknowledgeable. He provided many options and called other locations to find the right size trailer we were looking for. He went above and beyond. You'd do well to hire more people like Elwin.

I had received the truck with 3/4 tank of gas and was told to fill back to 3/4 tank when done. $60 dollars later I thought how could I used so much gas when I only went around 50 miles . Well gas gauge was broke or stuck at 3/4 tank and I kept filling it up not knowing . When I left and started to move the needle on the fuel gauge broke free from being stuck and it turned out I filled the whole tank up .Was not happy when asked for a discount at uhaul they told me they could not give me anything off .

The location was a gas station in a bad part of the city that when I arrived they were not able to complete the rental because of Internet connectivity issues.then I had to drive to another location and they assigned a much bigger trailer that was not necessary, using way too much fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle.

The original drop off location that was selected for us (as the closest option even though there were others much closer), 4402 W Roosevelt Road, was closed during stated business hours. When we entered a nearby gas station asking about the U-Haul location, the attendant stated “Oh, just give me the keys.” This was unacceptable. We then had to search for the closest U-Haul location and drove there instead. The 2001 W Roosevelt location in Chicago was outstanding. After being on hold for about 45 minutes trying to change the drop off location, the team at 2001 W Roosevelt took amazing care of us and helped us unhook the car dolly and took the truck after a very harrowing experience at the drop of location that was originally selected for us.

Easy Peasy Moving is Great!!! I booked Easy Peasy Moving Company through the Uhaul website for 10/28/23 to load all of our belongings into the Uhaul and they then drove to the unload location and unloaded everything there. They were quick, efficient, extremely nice (especially Alex) and they handled everything with extreme care. They did such a wonderful job the first time, I booked them again since I broke my move into two parts for all of our items. They are great and I would use them again and again.

We traveled to all of the wrong locations because the wrong addresses were given. Each time was about 40+ minutes away from where we originally booked.

On the way back I noticed the engine light on. This made me very nervous as I thought the truck was going to break down. I even turned off the air conditioning to lessen the load on the engine. I couldn't pull over and call U-Haul because I was on an expressway. I mentioned it to the gentleman who I brought it back to in Broadview and he said that it's always on for that truck. Maybe take that truck out of rotation and fix it so the check engine light doesn't come on.

I will recommend it to everyone that needs to have a storage unit. the staff is always friendly and will give you a reminder call if you're unit has not been paid up. only things that there is no light inside of the unit. but other than that I had excellent service for 6 years.

The day I moved my stuff out my thing on the ground level I noticed that my someone took 3 screws out on the opening side of my storage so they could get on easy and I also have pictures if needed I have had no problems before but this time I do I told the manager he had gotten a screw and put one in there and said he is going to get to the bottom of it as far as me putting something in the storage no!

They should have an elevator, or a ramp not just stairs otherwise, the facility is pretty good. Another thing they may want to extend their hours.

Good facility, we lit and accessible. My unit was a 6 foot tall one so not good for larger furniture. The downside were the hours, no late access but always great service from the guys and very flexible if I was late on my payments. Great communication.

Staff are unprofessional, lazy and rude. All of my information that was entered into the system was incorrect. Even after verifying multiple times! I called this location for two weeks straight, Monday through Friday and I never got a response. When I asked for a printout for my unit I was told the printer was broke. You all need to do better… this is unacceptable!

I had a horrible experience with the uhaul truck service. I had to go to three locations for the truck out of the way . And then when i tried to put my things in storage, they didn’t have my storage and sent me to two other places as well. The last storage had to split into to storages and by the time they figured it out it was about to close so i had to leave my things on the truck .

Guys were late when I picked up Uhaul truck the first time by almost two hours. No one really seemed to care and thought it was funny they stayed out late the night before.

The only reason why I took 2 stars off was because I arrived but the reservation had me at the wrong location. They didn’t even have the unit I reserved so I was lucky because they only had 1 medium and 2 small units left. I had to take 1 of each. If the reservation was proper it would have been 5 stars. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in accommodating what I needed. Location was very clean and organized.

I have been a client of U-Haul for ten years. The experience I had in the last few months was so extremely frustrated that I will never, ever work with U-Haul again. I was constantly given wrong information, my account information was messed up, even after I had called customer service and updated it two times. I was told I can vacant my unit a week after my bill's next payment cycle and I will not be charged, but I was charged for the entire month. Chris, who apparently was a fake name and did not work at the location that we rented the unit provided me other wrong information and just made my move day misurable and exteremly stressful.
