I had a great experience. The furniture pads on my order were not given to me at the location. The employee that was helping me made it right and issued me a refund. I was very happy with this location.

Jacob ALack of communication for first time users. I am 25, progressively dying, and disabled yet life won’t wait for me and moves still have to happen. I wobbled in just for the price to be $100 more when paying with cash. Ofcourse I would have brought that money on a card had I known about this fee. Absolutely logical for liabilities. However no one mentioned it when making the reservation over the phone. Nor when calling back to change the reservation truck size. 2 opportunities to go over some rules and regulations or “paying with card your price would be this, and paying with cash you price would be this!” I understand they do this everyday, but this was our first and last time renting a U-Haul. I think that with move in and move out fees, applications, paying friends to help move, etc. the U-Haul SHOULD NOT be so costly and falsely advertised. Atleast moral was good at this store. Just not consideration of customers time when it all boils down to lack of communication. My son can’t speak one word, so I think those of us with voices should use that blessing of communication to the best of our ability. I also think with paying $147.00 I should have had to use my last $8.37 on my child support card to fill the gas tank up. I don’t know why that $147 a pop doesn’t cover the gas for the mileage we are using. Then my head immediately goes into, what if the system is designed to set you up for failure. Like me stoping to get gas made it go over the miles allotted or something. I am just waiting for a random uncommunicative fee of $89 that would mess my rent payment up on the 1st. I would love to know how to get my card off of file in the U-Haul system: I don’t know maybe a man designed it all, there for the feminine brain can’t understand the purpose or order of it all.

CORINNE LUHaul was very gracious to me. I had a family emergency days after picking up my rental van that was all consuming and left me unable to return the equipment on time. In fact, I forgot all about it! I just happened to catch an email urging me to return the equipment so to avoid forced legal efforts. I immediately responded and somewhat explained, returning the equipment that night and wasn't even able to refill the tank as it was for simple lack of time. The final withdraw from my credit card was nothing like I deserved! So kind! So selfless! For a massive company of that nature I expected a massive hit, that simply wasn't the case! The experience has earned my business for life! And to whomever is responsible for the ultimate kindness, and uhaul, THANK YOU!

I gave it ten minutes and then went in and the young lady told me where I could park the trailer if I could back up. I took care of that and she showed up to lift the trailer off the hitch. Looked like she was the only person there and could use some help.

RANDY CI had a terrible experience dealing with U-Haul picking up the truck. We had it reserved for total stop location in broken arrow and we went there and they didn’t have our reservation. Then arrived at this location and their computers were down and they were unprepared.

PATTY HPlease don't let reservations be made on locations that will be closed. I'm without a vehicle and disabled. I had to take a Lyft to the location I chose. I had a confirmation email. I get there and it's closed. It's freezing. I call the number on the door and I'm told my truck was at a different location. I never got a text or email or phone call to tell me that the location had changed. The woman on the phone was not empathetic. She was practically robotic. I had to call a friend to come get me and take me to the other location. I waited 20 mins I outside in 30 degree weather. Did I mention I'm disabled? I use a cane and I deal with chronic pain. When ai got to the New Orleans St location the gentleman was very kind and apologetic. After that everything went smoothly. The truck worked great and was even kinda fun to drive. Uhaul just really needs to work out this kink in the system.

The staff was great, answered all questions, and was very helpful. the consistency of multiple locations over the years really makes it easy to return for any needs that come up... trucks, trailers, and now storage. I will continue to use UHAUL without hesitation.

The office was great about getting me storage quickly, although they did not have the smaller size that I requested. Only frustrating thing was the facility was closed from 2200-0500. This made it more difficult to use. However, overall it was a great experience and very nice facility. Clearing storage and working with the management the final day was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. It would be nice to have a program where you could get a discount on short term units like this went you rent equipment. I rented a 20’ truck, an auto transport trailer and a 6x12’ trailer from U-Haul over the last 10 days.

Candy the manage said she had called IT about it but it has never been fixed. This has been very frustrating for Candy and myself. Candy works harder then any woman I have ever known at the storage units and she shouldn’t have to deal with accounting issues corporate can’t or won’t fix.

Had to call y’all twice just for someone to finally cut it off. The guy that handled me when renting the unit was not professional. There’s no service nor does the public wifi at the Facility even work so when I returned a truck I couldn’t properly check it in and got charged an extra $25. Yall LOVE to overcharge people. I have the exact same unit and I pay $75 a month instead of $120 that y’all charge me. NEVER will I ever use uhaul especially this location.

Charles G | Overall ExperienceThe staff was incredibly rude. As i made it closer to tulsa, from st. Louis, i ran into some traffic that pushed me back a little on my arrival time. Well that meant that id show up approximately 5-10 minutes after they closed at the SUPER late hour of 8pm. So I called ahead and politely asked if someone could stick around for me. The guy who answered the phone said with disdain, that they're trying to close up early and will leave at 8:00 sharp. I then offered to pay someone to please stick around for me. I just drove 8 hours to get here and theres nothing i could do...needless to say the staff did NOT wait, pushing back my entire move in schedule by over a day and a half... Because since the office hours are the same as a state govt and the accessibility of the units is tied to that, plus the rude and unsavory behavior, I was unable to unload everything right then and there. I had to find an pay for another storage unit from another place, then had to run back to st louis, back to tulsa and by the time i made it back, I'd arranged to return the trailer and fill up the storage unit at 3:00 p.m. and once again ran into traffic on my way to the unit so I called ahead and asked if the manager could stick around this time she said yes she would but only for an hour and then she had to go and come to find out the office doesn't even close until 5:00 so her doing me this huge favor was part of her job anyways so I mean and then as I'm leaving the place it's then right after they took off the trailer right as I'm about to drive away literally standing right next to my car hand on the handle tells me the storage units are only open the same time that the office is and so I won't be able to access any of my stuff I can't come in and move it out in the middle of the night I can't go anywhere or like move into my place and since I work from 9am - 6pm EVERYDAY i wont be able to get my stuff for another week or so... Oh and to make matters even better, i got charged twice for the "starters package" (which didnt have all of the stuff with it) got charged extra for a smaller trailers, charged to put a lights attachment on my car, charged for a lock for the storage unit. Paid for an 8 x 10 unit, received a 4x4 unit. And missed my move in date by two whole days... So as far as im concerned, U-Haul screwed me royally and not only am i going to tell everyone this story and dissuade anyone i meet from choosing uhaul, but I'm going to be requesting a refund for a lot of this.

This has also happened before with other tenants. The facility parking lot and driveway is very small with little space and obstructions like parked trailers even though there is a whole unpaved grass area are on the property. Unit was also very expensive. I was referred to an equivalent facility at 10% the price. Most of my experience interacting with the staff was pleasant.

And this 158K mile old truck was the worst truck ride I have ever experienced... no suspension whatsoever! - even with a full load! I thought at times that some of the furniture in the back would break, the way this truck was bopping up and down! on the highway. Besides that, the truck had no USB iutlet for me to charge the phone. And then you charge me $250 for a ride that should have cost 40 plus milage! Not recommendable to anyone, actually. This is the second defective truck you rent me! Not a good record!

Also your estimates for home sizes that will fit in your units is way off. A 5x10x10 will not fit a 2 bedroom home which is what it said online. Your staff did not even have me look at the unit before they had me pay for it. It is also way over priced. I went somewhere else and got a 10x20 unit for just a little more than the one you tried to rent me. I was very disappointed! Thought I would get everything done in one place I stead the day I'm moving I have to find a new storage unit and put more miles on the truck so uhaul cost me an extra $50 more because of all this.

I have received numerous letters about excessive late fees , even though I called corporate about my move out date and she was supposed to make note of it because I couldn’t reach anyone local. I’m not paying any of those ridiculous fees due to the owner/ managers laziness and incompetence.

I went several times and they were blocking parking, and entrance gates, 1 time I went and they had cones in front of the gate during business hours. If your going to close you need to let your renters know. Only dealt with employees 1 time to sign paperwork it was okay but he made me buy a lock from them when I had my own. Raised prices while I was there . I think prices are too high but I guess that's everywhere now...

The first time I went to unload there was a uhaul parked in front of my unit and the second load I unloaded there were 3 uhauls parked in front of my unit. It made it very inconvient to move into my unit, when I was unable to pull right up to it and unload.

I had birds nesting in the top of my storage and their nest and droppings would get into my unit. Then the facility became more interested in truck rentals than in storage and within the last two years you could barely get in or out of the facility without dodging Uhaul trucks. Multiple times the entrance and exit would be blocked and you couldn't get in or out of the facility without waiting for a long period of time for them to move trucks and/or trailers around.

There were times I couldn’t get to the entrance for my unit without waiting for an employee to move a UHaul truck. In addition, while I was in my unit (early August), several low flatbed UHaul trailers were left near the back of my car where I couldn’t see them. I backed into the hitch end of one, doing $2,500 of body damage to my car. My opinion - you need to decide whether you want to have a storage unit facility, or a UHaul rental facility. There is not enough room for both. I am not the only renter who feels this way. I overheard several people saying they were done trying to maneuver around the UHaul trucks, and were planning to go elsewhere. This is the SOLE reason why I moved out.

In our 20' U-Haul truck, we couldn't park directly in front of the locker so we had to unload our stuff at the end of the building and carry it all to the locker! Not really "drive up"!

We live in Georgia and brought furniture to our son who lives in Broken Arrow. I emptied the unit well in advance of renewal date. Filled out "application" to vacate online on Aug 8, never got confirmation from BA location. Received bill from BA location, called Uhaul, spent 15 min waiting to talk to a person. And, several calls to the BA location with NO answer, just kicked over to corporate. After conversation with corporate, assured me they sent vacate request to BA location and email. Aug 28, two weeks later I receive a letter from BA location stating I owe one month's rent AND a late fee!!!! Tried to call BA location AGAIN....no answer. Final verdict, had to send my son IN PERSON in get our account settled. I will probably get six more erroneous bills for filling out this review, but they need to get their office management together!
