The girl that helped me was fantastic.the truck needed some maintenance the muffler was bad or come loose it was supper loud and annoying.
GARY PMy pickup location was changed and The truck I reserved was given to another customer and the only thing available was half the size of what I needed. There was also no Dollies available and had to go to a different store to get those. Then when I went to drop off the truck I was charged extra for the miles I drove when the difference was the miles added by the location changes and the extra trips I had to take due to my truck being half the size I wanted. Really crappy experience.

Deborah SVery friendly but needs to explain term and conditions along with what is expected with picking up equipment. No tow straps were available to rent or buy and was not explained before picking up equipment.
Patsy KWe reserved a pickup truck fora project we're working on and day of pickup were called to say it was unavailable and we'd be switched to a 15' truck instead. This was way too much vehicle for our needs and was not convenient for what we were doing. The staff was dismissive and didn't care that was only option we were given. What's the point in a reservation if its not honored? This larger vehicle caused difficulties throughout our whole rental and this wouldn't have been an issue with the right vehicle requested. The general managers lack of empathy to our situation was disgusting and should be trained better if this is who makes all decisions. We could have gone to a closer location used less miles and saved money and hassle had they genuinely researched and found us what we needed not what worked for them. Have used this company for years and felt devalued and unimportant.

Julie M | First ImpressionsMy comments are not necessarily regarding either location but rather my overall Uhaul experience: First, after I made my reservation, I received a call informing me that the original pick up location had closed and i had to pick up at a different location. Next, the second location did not have all the packing items I had paid for. I was told I was supposed to pick up supplies in a location where I was moving to not from. I had already paid for my supplies and had to pay again. I am not sure my initial order was refunded or not. Next, I was told at the pick up location that the blankets were mine to keep (at least that was my understanding). After pick up, my drop off point changed, no big deal but was not planned. Next, the drop off location asked for moving blankets back. These, I had packed in storage and had to pay for them. I tried to explain but still had to pay for them. The equipment was good and we made it without issue. I would suggest better communication by the agents as to the specifics of the rental. I didnt mind paying for the blankets but had I known, i would have returned them.

Benton FThe website, however, is awful. It seems to have been setup up to trip customers up into purchasing additional items or services, whether needed or not. It feels sleezy. If I had another option to rent the item I needed, I would have gone elsewhere- even if it cost more. Gross.

Luckily , I took a picture of the gas because they wanted to charge me an extra eleven dollars. Not a very friendly location. Both women up tight. Then she made me check all the lights for her when I dropped it off. I rent alot of uhaul for work and I never had to check all this stuff. Why is it my job to do this? Its not. I probably wouldn't rent from this location

Mark GI've used these U-Boxes on a couple of different occasions. I have never had any problems with going this route. I used them to move to and from Alaska. Even though the boxes are a bit on the small side, they always arrived on time safe and sound.

Kyle WUHaul charged me for 48 extra miles even though I used the exact route recommended by Google Maps between the moving addresses: 2244 Dryland Loop, East Helena, MT 59635 To 24894 Bowmore CT, Caldwell, ID 83607. Perhaps no provisions were added to account for travel from Uhaul pick-up location to initial address and/or drop-off location at the terminal address. And/or the truck speedometer/odometer is inaccurate. In any event it appears to me as a consumer that UHaul uses inaccurate or intentional methodologies to calculate mileage that result in unanticipated charges in their favor. VERY Unsatisfactory.
