I was clear about my return time yet they called three times in about an hour to remind me of the time I was to return the trailer. This added extra stress we didn’t need. We were clear when picking it up and it makes us rethink using this location again.

Easy in and out experience which is great when you just drive 6 hours! Worker was extremely helpful, even called me to let me know I left a utility cart in the back of a trailer but I was already on the highway back to my destination. This was the best U-Haul experience I’ve ever had.

Overall this was an exceptionally easy and problem free process and I appreciated that I was able to complete it all within the app. My one major complaint is the driveway access around the units. I would have preferred more information about how bad it is. We were able to drive up to one unit very carefully, but the other one was impossible to drive up to.

I reserved a 26’ truck for Lancaster CA and was emailed after 7:00 pm the night before a 7:00 am pick-up that the location was anger over 50 miles away to Cabyon Country. Additionally, they had a 20’ truck reserved instead of 26’. O had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with multiple representatives to finally get the truck I needed, still in Canyon Country causing me excess costs, loss of time, and completely rearranging help for the day due to the last minute change. Why would U-Haul send an email after 7:00 pm and then tell me no one is available to talk to because it’s after hours? Whole experience was a disaster and I will actively utilize your competitors for future needs.

I completed the online check-in at home as suggested through the app by entering my information and my emergency contact and uploading pictures of my Driver License but when I arrived at the site, the app had me go through the same process again which was cumbersome. Also, I wasn't able to access the key from the lock box after numerous attempts and had to then wait in line to get help.

We are very upset and NOT SATISFIED !! The fuel we filled exactly to the level we received the truck and still charged a $25 fee !! I will report this to the BBB if no one reverses this or reaches us tomorrow.

I have know idea what U-Haul has done over the years, but they have absolutely nailed the art of customer service. It is truly worry-free. Highly recommend. I could go on for pages base don the outstanding experience I have had with them over the past three years. This is the way to move!

Perhaps, for customers of color, remember we are here to rent equipment, so awkward woke dialogue, doesn’t tell me you are not racist, it tells me you are actually focused on my skin color, and someone uncomfortable with their own. I originally chose a different location for drop off. Upon arriving to the original location, they were unable to accept the uhaul truck because it was too big for the lot. I went to a second location and the same thing happened. This was very inconvenient and should not have happened, especially because the drop off location was reserved during booking.

When you make an offer, honor it. I was overcharged for the rental rate (promised 1 cent a day charged $1 a day, my "insurance" rate which was really covered by my insurance magically went from $75 to $90) Do what you are saying you will do. Disappointed and really you should credit me $25...

Everything was flawless! The guys at the Canyon Country U-Haul were very helpful. They got me the best deal on my trailer rental. It was ready on time. They made sure everything was ready for the road. The trip to Henderson Nevada was easy. I dropped of the trailer at the Henderson U-Haul. The guy completed the drop-off check in 10 minutes. I am very happy with the whole experience. Thanks guys! I would definitely use U-Haul again and refer my friends to do the same.

Returning a vehicle with the U-Haul app was a very bad experience. I spent 40 minutes in the parking lot with the app crashing multiple times I was never able to complete the return on my own. It is a known issue that they mentioned on the phone. If the app completed the return, the experience would have been OK.

My recent experience with U-Haul was very disappointing. I was not notified in a professional manner about price changes, and when I sought clarification, I was given misleading information. This lack of transparency and honesty is unacceptable. I will not be using U-Haul again

On 11/12/24 I went for a U-Box the staff member who helped me had cero training on what they were doing, the other staff member who was in charge of front desk, was helping three clients at a time so that’s that. Second, I was told by the site supervisor that my card wouldn’t be charge for the U-box or the actual stationary storage unit, which was a lie, they did charge me $112.00 So I had to move out all of my items, before yall, try to double charge me again. So no I won’t recommend your company to any body.

The staff is amazing and friendly. Always a clean bathroom too. Out of my 20 years in LA with several storage units all over the place. Your on-site manager Freddy has been the absolute BEST. He runs a tight ship over there. In fact, my experience at this location has been so positive I always rent trailers and trucks with UHaul. I've had that unit for years and in the beginning the lighting wasn't that good for the indoor area. Now it looks well lit. The security and code is impeccable. A lot of good security cameras too. It feels safe and that's important to me. Another weird thing, is that the store is layed out nice and I always want to buy something and I really don't need it. One negative thing is that the rodents chewed my Persian rug and my stuff kind of smells like pest spray. It comes with the turf. The rug was old. Just a little constructive criticism. Importantly, thank you for the great service and I appreciate all of you. God Bless, Michael Ryan

Manager was not helpful. Fell behind on my unit and wanted to keep but at the end after paying the balance off completely he continue to charge outrages fees for wrong dates. I asked for a complete summary and denied my request. Not helpful at all. They just wanted to clean and move us out. Email confirmations have wrong dates and one after another. I wouldn’t recommend storage units here. Ending up moving down the street elsewhere. Less headaches.

I wish we could access the storages 24/7 considering the only time I would often have to access it was after my work hours. However, the staff was amazing. GM Freddy was an amazing help getting our contract set up with moving out of our storage into U-Box containers. There was some confusion when I first went in to see about a storage unit. The person I talked to said there was a ten foot by ten foot unit available and that if I wanted it I had to rent it then as there was no reserving. I went to get money and when I returned I was told by a different person that unit was reserved. I was put on a waiting list and was called two days later as a different unit had become available, so I did get that unit. It worked out just fine thank you.

The gentleman helping us didn’t seem to know how to check us in. I’m assuming he’s new but with how much he struggled it felt like he still needed training or someone assisting with the check in. Our unit now has a few different peoples information on it simply because my spouse and I can’t have the same address? How does that even make sense. Then when confirming what I reserved he rattled off the wrong unit. So we had to correct that. Once we got through the actual check in he handed us a map and flagged down someone to take us back to the unit. This is where I would rate the entire experience poor at best. There are random vehicles just stored everywhere. There is no clear access to our unit. What was most frustrating was due to the fact you can’t actually drive up to our unit (poor planning and layout on uhauls behalf) he didn’t mention maybe backing the trailer up so we could at least cut down some of the foot traffic. It’s frustrating because we rented a rather large unit and you physically can not drive up to the thing. Had I known how poor the layout was I wouldn’t have chosen the facility at all. Staff was ok but clearly needs training. The facility itself is a mess.

Nathan was a great help! He was able to give me the rental, show me to the storage unit and showed me all the conveniences of opening up the liftgates and the trolleys tonhelp move my stuff to my storage easier. Danny offered great customer service when renting out the truck as well, offered to help move out of the spot, checked to make sure i had my dolley, and made sure the truck rental was ready to go and safe to use!

The fact that I paid rent on the 14th and was not pro rated when I closed my account in the office is robbery. The unit is going to be re rented within days and on the website I did not see anything advising I wouldn’t be refunded for remaining time. Definitely not recommending uhaul and probably avoiding it as much as possible.

Poor experience due to the Manager (not sure of his name) who was rude and condescending. I would not recommend for storage, there's just too much going on with moving vans, retail store, etc doesn't seem secure or convenient.

The Staff was great and especially the manager Freddie. I used the storage unit for over three years and Freddie lived up to all the agreements that we agreed upon the day I rented the storage space. I renting an inside temperature controlled unit. All the items remained clean, safe and in original condition. Highly Recommend!

Accessing the gate was often a challenge due to various crates/trailers/trucks etc being obstacles. In some cases this also impeded access to the building itself. The sloping ramps (loading and off-loading) were a deal-killer. I am quite relieved to not have to deal with that again

So, after booking a 26ft trailer two weeks in advance and getting cancelled three days in before a move and tight timeframe, thankfully Lorna from the Storage King location was so kind to help us out and give us some tips. I get that people extend their rental, which is what we did Saturday morning to be met with scare tactics and a severely upset employee from Canyon County location. Corporate UHaul is great with customer service but there really should be someone who does quality control checks on independent stores. They will be receiving a review from myself that will reflect the service I received.

We always use U-Haul for all our moving needs and let our family and friends know the ease of it online. I really think U-Haul has a unique advantage over all others. For the first time, we used the recommended movers.com to help us. Much to our dismay, the movers in AZ cancelled at 11:00AM. We were charged and additional $140.00 for the last minute replacement. As a company, they are not up to the same standards that U-Haul has. Even though it was their mistake, they made us pay for it. Our hands were tied since we were on a tight schedule. I hear that you are not associated with them, just thought you might want to know about our experience with the first mover group, especially since they didn’t show up, we can’t put that experience on their website I am told. We have always enjoyed U-Haul and the 26 foot truck was totally awesome, a great drive and a great deal! Thanks to U-Haul for always being there for us and the extremely fair pricing! The African-American lady was very rude anytime you try to ask her questions you get an attitude and being very rude I will never ask anybody to go rent from your place again ever if she wants people to understand you have to put the code in before you just go with the gate up and then she should have a sign there saying so clearly or they should look carefully for the word except it or something when the keypad is pushed in and I just assume you should know her job she

They never answer their phones at the canyon country location and it can be very inconvenient to get simple questions answered. Please relay this message to him and his staff.

Everything fine.....except I lost my key to my lock (that was in the unit when I rented it).....Uhaul did not have a record of the key so i could obtain a duplicate. Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. Everything else good.

I had reserved a van in advance. When I arrived there were six people standing in line and only one person processing arrivals. I had to stand for 35 minutes. The young man behind the desk was cheerful, but the facility was woefully understaffed during Christmas week. I also had to re-enter data that I had done in advance, online.

When I returned my rental truck to this location, the gas gauge was the same as when I rented the truck in Redding. The employee said the computer reported the gas level low and hit me with a $20 gas charge.. It is a real shame that U-Haul would, trade customer loyalty for $20, but that was you decision. Unless forced, I will not be back.

Although the staff was helpful, it did not make up for the fact the unit that I reserved the day prior was not available. We vacated our space on 7-15, month was up on 7-22,informed you we were out. Got a call 10 days later saying rent was due, after we told them they looked at the note in our file to see we were out.. They said we were good. Then on 8-1 we get an e-mail saying we are late on our rent and have a $20 late fee, so now I have to send an e-mail, because I can't get through by phone to say again we were out on 7-15. Communication sucked, don't think I would recommend you for storage.

I will never use uhaul again. Uhaul owes me $99+$75 and i have called 4 times to try to get it refunded and keep getting disconnected. &The older white male working at this location is extremely rude

I was unable to schedule a drop-off with these guys after 4 days of unanswered voicemails. I wound up using their Moving Help service that hires a third-party mover to deliver the U-Box.

Communication was very difficult. It took 6 mo. for the pickup of the U-Box after requesting the removal of the box. Very frustrating. Everyone I talked to was most considerate but no pickup occurred.

Your staff were unresponsive to emails I sent to inquire about my account. The wait times in line to pay, buy supplies, rent and return a truck were usually just this side of ridiculous.

U-box arrived late by U-Haul & no confirmation after delay. I paid for U-Haul to deliver my u-box but they did not & I ended up paying twice for movers to deliver it. Everyone played dumb about it.

Didn't access the facility, but can say the experience with my U-Box driver, Marissa, was exceptional. She kept me up-to-date with all the plans and provided top-notch service. Went above & beyond.

I liked the storage because it was air conditioned and clean and no insects ! Everyone was helpful😁

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
