Sean was great, quick and friendly
Rt MI was clear about my return time yet they called three times in about an hour to remind me of the time I was to return the trailer. This added extra stress we didn’t need. We were clear when picking it up and it makes us rethink using this location again.
ERIN SEasy in and out experience which is great when you just drive 6 hours! Worker was extremely helpful, even called me to let me know I left a utility cart in the back of a trailer but I was already on the highway back to my destination. This was the best U-Haul experience I’ve ever had.
ASHLEY MFirst trailer rented had some vibration issues, but was promptly returned and a replacement unit was issued and it worked great. I highly recommend the team at U-Haul...fast, friendly service.

RALPH LOverall this was an exceptionally easy and problem free process and I appreciated that I was able to complete it all within the app. My one major complaint is the driveway access around the units. I would have preferred more information about how bad it is. We were able to drive up to one unit very carefully, but the other one was impossible to drive up to.
David G | Online Move InI reserved a 26’ truck for Lancaster CA and was emailed after 7:00 pm the night before a 7:00 am pick-up that the location was anger over 50 miles away to Cabyon Country. Additionally, they had a 20’ truck reserved instead of 26’. O had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with multiple representatives to finally get the truck I needed, still in Canyon Country causing me excess costs, loss of time, and completely rearranging help for the day due to the last minute change. Why would U-Haul send an email after 7:00 pm and then tell me no one is available to talk to because it’s after hours? Whole experience was a disaster and I will actively utilize your competitors for future needs.

YSIDRO SI completed the online check-in at home as suggested through the app by entering my information and my emergency contact and uploading pictures of my Driver License but when I arrived at the site, the app had me go through the same process again which was cumbersome. Also, I wasn't able to access the key from the lock box after numerous attempts and had to then wait in line to get help.

NORMAN FI originally chose a different location for drop off. Upon arriving to the original location, they were unable to accept the uhaul truck because it was too big for the lot. I went to a second location and the same thing happened. This was very inconvenient and should not have happened, especially because the drop off location was reserved during booking.

ARAM KWhen you make an offer, honor it. I was overcharged for the rental rate (promised 1 cent a day charged $1 a day, my "insurance" rate which was really covered by my insurance magically went from $75 to $90) Do what you are saying you will do. Disappointed and really you should credit me $25...

MARK MInstead of making me buy the adapter for the trailer electric hookup it would have been great to be able to rent it.
DIANNA BReturning a vehicle with the U-Haul app was a very bad experience. I spent 40 minutes in the parking lot with the app crashing multiple times I was never able to complete the return on my own. It is a known issue that they mentioned on the phone. If the app completed the return, the experience would have been OK.

Second, I was told by the site supervisor that my card wouldn’t be charge for the U-box or the actual stationary storage unit, which was a lie, they did charge me $112.00 So I had to move out all of my items, before yall, try to double charge me again. So no I won’t recommend your company to any body.

Your on-site manager Freddy has been the absolute BEST. He runs a tight ship over there. In fact, my experience at this location has been so positive I always rent trailers and trucks with UHaul. I've had that unit for years and in the beginning the lighting wasn't that good for the indoor area. Now it looks well lit. The security and code is impeccable. A lot of good security cameras too. It feels safe and that's important to me. Another weird thing, is that the store is layed out nice and I always want to buy something and I really don't need it. One negative thing is that the rodents chewed my Persian rug and my stuff kind of smells like pest spray. It comes with the turf. The rug was old. Just a little constructive criticism. Fell behind on my unit and wanted to keep but at the end after paying the balance off completely he continue to charge outrages fees for wrong dates. I asked for a complete summary and denied my request. Not helpful at all. They just wanted to clean and move us out. Email confirmations have wrong dates and one after another. I wouldn’t recommend storage units here. Ending up moving down the street elsewhere. Less headaches.

The person I talked to said there was a ten foot by ten foot unit available and that if I wanted it I had to rent it then as there was no reserving. I went to get money and when I returned I was told by a different person that unit was reserved. I was put on a waiting list and was called two days later as a different unit had become available, so I did get that unit. It worked out just fine thank you.

I’m assuming he’s new but with how much he struggled it felt like he still needed training or someone assisting with the check in. Our unit now has a few different peoples information on it simply because my spouse and I can’t have the same address? How does that even make sense. Then when confirming what I reserved he rattled off the wrong unit. So we had to correct that. Once we got through the actual check in he handed us a map and flagged down someone to take us back to the unit. This is where I would rate the entire experience poor at best. There are random vehicles just stored everywhere. There is no clear access to our unit. What was most frustrating was due to the fact you can’t actually drive up to our unit (poor planning and layout on uhauls behalf) he didn’t mention maybe backing the trailer up so we could at least cut down some of the foot traffic. It’s frustrating because we rented a rather large unit and you physically can not drive up to the thing. Had I known how poor the layout was I wouldn’t have chosen the facility at all. Staff was ok but clearly needs training. The facility itself is a mess.

I get that people extend their rental, which is what we did Saturday morning to be met with scare tactics and a severely upset employee from Canyon County location. Corporate UHaul is great with customer service but there really should be someone who does quality control checks on independent stores. They will be receiving a review from myself that will reflect the service I received.

For the first time, we used the recommended movers.com to help us. Much to our dismay, the movers in AZ cancelled at 11:00AM. We were charged and additional $140.00 for the last minute replacement. As a company, they are not up to the same standards that U-Haul has. Even though it was their mistake, they made us pay for it. Our hands were tied since we were on a tight schedule. I hear that you are not associated with them, just thought you might want to know about our experience with the first mover group, especially since they didn’t show up, we can’t put that experience on their website I am told. We have always enjoyed U-Haul and the 26 foot truck was totally awesome, a great drive and a great deal! Thanks to U-Haul for always being there for us and the extremely fair pricing! Therefore i had to call a locksmith for $100. It will teach me to not misplace my key. It would be nice if Uhaul could always keep a duplicate of their clients keys. Everything else good.

The young man behind the desk was cheerful, but the facility was woefully understaffed during Christmas week. I also had to re-enter data that I had done in advance, online.

Communication sucked, don't think I would recommend you for storage.
