There were two people who were working on installing the auto trailer to the truck and neither of them noticed there was no pin in the hitch. Additionally, the inspection sticker wasn't on the trailer from when they received it before I rented it. When I was unloading my truck from the back of the trailer, the weight caused the trailer to come off the ball since there was no pin holding it in place, and launched me and my truck back and up. Had I not had a manual winch anchoring the truck to the D ring on the trailer, it would've gone through my garage wall and I would've fallen though and under the trailer. Luckily I'm fine and there was no damage to anything other than a surface level scuff on the rental truck's tailgate. Gear inspections and procedural checks must be done properly and within periodicity. At least two people saw my rental and neither took notice of the incomplete installation nor the missing inspection sticker and the result would've been costly damages and severe injury had I not also provided my own safety gear. I'm a former military maintenance technician so the importance of these things is not lost to me. I'm also severely disabled due to gundecked maintenance checks and complacency like what I experienced with this rental. Please drive home the importance of check lists and procedure to the crew. If people need to carry checklists, do it. That would make any customer more comfortable. Other than this, the two gentleman who checked my rental back in were great, and it was nice to see the new employee not hesitating to ask his coworkers how to properly handle things like damage reports and technical issues instead of trying to just fail with an air of confidence in front of the customer. Oh and the new trucks are nice. Finally got power locks and windows.


This was really a terrible experience all around. The black lady who works at the customer service counter had a TERRIBLE attitude and unfortunately I had to encounter her 3 different times. She was belittling, not friendly AT ALL and extremely rude and pushy. I'm a 140 pound girl and I had to put the dolly on the truck myself. And this is all after picking up the truck at different location that was supposed to have the dolly WITH the truck. Very frustrating experience to say the least.

I reserved a 6 x 12 two months prior and the day before I was to pick it up was told it wasn't available and was forced to use a 5 x 8. This caused me to make two trips which were two hours each way! I asked the guy why it wasn't available and he came up with the lame story someone else had rented it 2 1/2 months earlier. Why them wasn't I told that two month earlier. I had to drive 5 hours to there to help my daughter move so I had no other options. He kept trying to rent me an open trailer and I kept telling him it was heavy rain forecasted which is exactly what happened. Poor service!!!

Improve the check in process. Everything was completed online but I still had to check in at the store. Took WAY to long.


The truck was clean but it seemed it had no oil so the transmission was failing and the truck wasn't backing up and we had to go to another location in Northridge to try to switch it . But they didn't have a truck for us. They put oil and then we were able to use it. That experience made us lose time to figure out what to do about it and cost us money for paid labor for that time.


I rented a cover trailer. Everything was fine. Clean facility. I'll be back to do business again.


Have more phone operators to help with rentals and reservations. Wait time is too long. Also, have call back instead of having client waiting on the phone.

Customer service was not great. The store opened a couple of minutes late and then we had to wait until the computers booted up. Even though I checked in online ahead of time, the process took 20 minutes between the time we got there until we got the keys. Also, the worker wasn't wearing a mask, she said she "didn't have one handy." The truck was fine, clean, ran well. Returning the truck went smoothly.

Tire was very low, told rep at site and he said to bring it to him to fill it. Brought it to him and his machine didn't work. I had to take it to a gas station band do it myself. Very inconvenient since truck was large and difficult to maneuver at a gas station. I also got mis charged at the end. Just got my credit card bill. I got charged for 139 miles rather than 22 miles that I actually used. I told guy before renting that online it is giving wrong mileage. He said don't worry take pic and they will adjust it. It never got adjusted. Now have to go through hassle to get it fixed. Very disappointed
