The price quoted to me over the phone when I made my reservation was not the price I was charged, they did end up honoring it but not right away. Also I told them numerous times I would not be returning the truck to my hometown on my ID I was taking it a few miles further but they still put that city as my drop off location and that created a problem for me when I dropped it off.

Call center is rude and aggressive to make a sale saying 1 truck left in the region when we passed by the location and saw a full lot of trucks not very good customer service in store they were friendly and honest people would not call call center again

A new staff was assigned on u haul returns, not as efficient as one would expect, today being his 2nd day only. Maybe having a seasoned staff to guide him thru is better , bothas a training procedure and foremost is better customer experience.

Uhaul website is so horrible! I tried to reserve 10x13 trailer, and pick up at Valencia, CA, then drop off trailer with flexible plan to get discount in Ventura, CA. The website keep sending my reservation to drop off area in Ontario, Canada area, not Santa Barbara or Ventura drop off area! Big time frustration. For more than one week, same problem then I went to Uhaul store in Fillmore, CA to reserve 10x13 trailer and instructed the worker what I wanted, but the worker at the store reserved a very much smaller trailer, 4x8 without my knowledge and I discovered when I was at Canyon Country store when they delivered me 4x8 trailer. I said its wrong size and still wanted 10x13 trailer but they said sorry, all 10x13 trailers are reserved already and I was stuck with 4x8 trailer which not fit with my bed and other furniture. Then they said I need to drop 4x8 trailer off in Oxnard, CA to get discount. If I knew trailer was going to Oxnard, CA for drop off then I will decline and opt for Santa Barbara drop off instead. Ventura and Oxanrd is only 10 miles apart, but take forever to get in Oxnard due to bad traffic. I only go with flexible plan if drop off in Ventura, NOT Oxnard. Horrible experience!

Really friendly, prompt service. Everything was as promised. Truck and trailer ready when requested. Pick and drop off was easy. I was mistakenly charged for 1/2 tank of gas when I picked up with 1/4. Manager called to apologize and quickly reversed the charge. Great experience overall.

We got a wooden furniture dolly from the pick-up location, in Santa Clarita, that the drop-off location, in Bakersfield, accused me of returning in lieu of a regulation orange furniture dolly that U-Haul uses. It would be nice if regulation U-haul equipment would have been given. I am not a paid employee of U-Haul and do not know the details of the business. I do not feel that I, as a customer, should bear the onus of having to make sure that everything is up to U-Haul standards.

I don't see any benefit to the "Express Online Check-In". It is very misleading in that you agree and sign all documentation online but yet have to perform this activities again once inside the store.

Well, an employee name "George" told me the night before that he reserved a 26 footer for me to rent. I was told when I arrived to pick up the truck that I didn't have a reservation. However, they had my information on the computer for some reason. Not happy! I had to settle for a 20 footer and did NOT accomplish my move.
