Let’s just be honest I grew up in Georgia so I’m super honest, but I live in Los Angeles so I’m super brutal if you suck you suck you suck. In this particular case this is my third or fourth time having the pleasure of renting from this particular U-Haul storage store in Carrollton Georgia, they go above and beyond their job. They are extremely nice. The young man that I dealt with went way out of his way beyond what he was supposed to make sure everything was checked, he even went ahead and checked the wiring on the back of my brand new jeep again to make sure that the other U-Haul dealership did it correctly and thank God he did that because there was a problem with my electrical from another U-Haul store in Peachtree city so all I can say is to the young man who helped me thank you so very much. You will be taken care of all my U-Haul needs from now on when I’m in that area.

I would like to start by correcting a post that was posted last year in October under my name without my acknowledged. It was posted by the Hollywood California store. They died that I was being negative source in particular Carrollton, Georgia location and that is not true Lori and Dallas both were fantastic employees to work with and I would do it again and I just did I rented a trailer going from Carrollton Georgia to Texas. The turtle was extremely clean, the employees, Lori and Dallas and my cousin and I with each other around for about an hour and a half two hours after the fact because they’re such wonderful people anyone said anything negative about these two individuals should have their assets kicked. They are wonderful people to deal with. They maintain their store to the highest level possible, and they maintain those trucks and trailers.

Their operating hours are a major advantage. They are open 7 days a week, starting at 8 AM and closing as late as midnight (sometimes around 11 PM depending on the day). This provides a wide and flexible window for pickup. Additionally, drop-off is available 24 hours, making it an excellent option for urgent or emergency situations.

Charge me for miles that I did not put on the vehicle. I took a photo of the mileage before I moved the truck and and the mileage after I returned the truck. This location cheats there customers. I’ve been a customer and rented many times from this location. I don’t do business with companies that cheats people, I refused to rent from this cheating company again.

I’m disputing several charges on my recent rental. • Fuel Charge ($13.12): I returned the truck with the fuel level exactly where it was at pickup. I have video evidence from both before and after the rental confirming this. • Hand Truck Charge ($14): The hand truck was not secured (zip-tied) when I picked up the vehicle, which is the standard procedure. It was loose in the back, indicating it was already in use or not properly checked in before my rental. • Total Cost Discrepancy: My expected total was: • $49.95 base rate • $1.09/mile × 87 miles = $87.09 • Expected total: $137.04 Instead, I was charged $264.14, which is significantly higher and includes charges I believe are incorrect. Please review these charges and issue a correction or refund as appropriate. I’m happy to provide my video evidence if needed.

I've been renting from U-Haul for over 20 years, and renting about every month or every other month. Once I started renting from the Bankhead Highway Location in Carrollton, I would not go to another location. They are GREAT! Great customer service. Always friendly, Always helpful. Rent from this store.

My initial reservation was in Newnan GA location. Was called by customer service on morning of rental to tell me I had to go to Carrollton to get the trailer (45 minutes drive time away from my home). Then told I ALSO had to return it there, costing me extra time (3 hours), gas and inconvenience. If I reserved it in Newnan weeks ago, you should have my rental in Newnan (not Carrollton). Airlines and hotels don’t move your originating locations. And secondly I should be able to return it without charge to me to my original location. U-Haul took and confirmed my reservation in Newnan weeks ago. What is the point of a reservation if doesn’t RESERVE the trailer. And when I reached out to Tyler in customer service, that was Useless. Terrible rental experience overall, not from Carrollton in any way but Newnan location and customer service agents overall. U-Haul = Useless customer service, Unreliable rental reservations, and Unworthy of my business!

The cleanest U-HAUL TRUCKS I’ve ever rented! Also what surprised me was we got a free 10’x10’ for 1 month free. We had a lot of stuff in another climate control storage place for the past decade but suddenly they drastically raised their prices by a lot! So we decided to get our stuff out. Having that 1 month free is great. Now we don’t have to rush to figure out what to do with this family/ sentimental and personal property! Thanks U-Haul!

Pod arrived and was delivered on time to the first location, but when on the phone, the people in office didn't seem to know the details that the drivers know, (such as where and what positions it is okay to place the pods in, ect.) When ordering I had a furniture dolly added to my order, I paid for everything before the due date, and it was not delivered with the pod. I was then told over the phone 'sorry about that, but go to a U-Haul location in person to pick one up'. There was only one location in my city, so I went there, and they *didn't have any in stock*. Eventually, they were able to locate one for me that was bundled with one of their trucks, but the truck was broken down, so they signed that dolly out to me. This whole process did take about an extra 2 hours out of my loading time that day. They did end up refunding the delivery charge for the dolly I ended up having to pick up, luckily, the situation was just inconvenient. Forewarning; they will also call you first thing in the morning at 7am sharp, if you're not already awake. To 'schedule' your deliveries (which you already scheduled online presumably), which is not really scheduling because you have no say in the matter, they're more just telling you what time slot you're in. Not sure why they do this, when they will not call you with delay updates or anything else. Pick up went smoothly without problems, but then the cold storm in the SE hit, which I'm assuming effected a lot of the routes for delivery. My drive across country took 22 hours by car, but the delivery of my pod was scheduled to take 10 more DAYS (or OVER 200 hours longer than my own drive!) And it was *still* delivered a day late. I understand it takes time to process these things, the ice can be bad if you're not careful, and the drivers go on routes to deliver a number of pods all across the country, not just mine. But I still feel like 10 days, delivered a day late, AND absolutely NO communication from the driver's company in regards to these delays, is absurd. At least communicate these issues with the customers that are paying your company literal thousands of dollars to transport their belongings. I marked my pod as goods arrived safely, however I do have to comment that there was so much wood debris in the pod that it seems the pods are not repaired properly between shipments. I packed mine as tight as I could make it so things wouldn't jostle around, and it appears that the pods are handled so recklessly that things are *still* thrown out of place despite tight packing. I had holes punctured in *heavy duty* bins from things being thrown around! I did use bubble wrap on anything and everything I found valuable or that could not be replaced or repaired, so luckily nothing truly important was damaged, but this is just a warning to people who have more valuable stuff.. You may want to invest in their 'insurance' if you do. Anything with loose legs or hanging edges will probably break, anything with unscrewable legs (how???) will break off. And furniture may chip if not covered. But hey, at least I didn't have to drive the truck myself. Hope this helps.

The only complaint I have is that the survey sent to me was in Spanish! I was asked about citizenship and my identification was verified so why was the survey sent in Spanish? Is it because my last name is Hispanic?

When the container arrived at my home, the door had a large hole in it. Almost as if a fork lift arm pushed into it. I was a bit disappointed that no one with U-haul said anything to us about it. Fortunately nothing inside was damaged. I would have preferred that whomever hit it would have reported it and let us know vs me finding it when it was dropped off on my driveway.
