I cannot comment on delivery. It is scheduled for 11 days from now. I made multiple calls to Uhaul prior to this rental. Some to the national call center, and some to individual locations. I reliably got totally WRONG information. I made a reservation with the call center and a real person, complete with giving CC # and a confirmation # that was later changed to different equipment and a different location. The rep spent a good amt of time arguing that I DID NOT have a "confirmed" reservation because I was not there and put my signature on anything. Really? When we're flying from different directions to move these items, you can't make a reservation that sticks? When we finally arrived in person, everyone could not have been more helpful. Including the individual that was very dismissive over the phone. The no answers to arriveal on time and safely is because they are not scheduled to be delivered for a few days more.

They spoke to me when I walked in and brought the truck to the front for me (convenience and customer service). These two employees should definitely be the standard and face of great customer service for this location. My last visit wasn't very good because the two people there, I think James and a young kid with glasses. They don't speak to you when you walk through the door unless you speak first. James came out the back room after being called multiple times and just stared at me and the young kid seemed unaware or lacked confidence in his job. Also, I had to go get my own truck from the back and walk all the wat back to the office when there was an issue with the truck. Another reason why an employee should bring the truck to the front, so they can fix any issue should there be one. Maybe look into the scheduling of staff. Pair the seasoned staff with the new. All staff should provide great customer service. I've rented from Ivan the most and the entire store operates better when he works. Hope my review is taken in great consideration

Teresa BI was already frustrated because the original location where I was to pick up my halls in Long Beach was not there, so I had to drive. I took 30 minutes to pick up my usual for moving and spent extra money on miles, and the truck was $10 more than the U-haul I reserved one week ago in LongBeach at the standard location I reserved from. It put my entire day back 2 hours. Then, the dolly I requested was the wrong dolly. I was charged for 30 miles and only put 10 miles on it.
Jeffrey GWhen arriving the service was horrible and long I did everything online. I had to wait 35 minutes when arriving to watch a video and for a reference phone call. The uhal employer who call for my reference was very rude my wife said . The man asked her did she know me and once she verify, she knew me he hung up in her face. No thank or goodbye that’s all we need for now. I than waited about 15 more minutes after payment was submitted for them to get the truck to me. I wasn’t expecting a 45 min pickup so tat mad me late to my next appointment. I wish I knew about the long process before hand so that I could had prepared better.

THOMASINA RI'm not sure why but the older guy there has an attitude, maybe the manager. I'm not sure why he feels the need to correct customers when they are talking. And his tone absolutely sucks. I get it, you don't want to be there, but your younger staffer was being friendly and trying hard. He was sitting there high and mighty on a bar stool looking down on him and correcting me over some non-sense. That doesn't set a good example for him and doesn't make me feel great either. Be ready for the attitude.

Bernadette tFirst, I initially rented a truck that’s closer so that I’m not spending my mileage on the pick up and dropping off. But they changed location. This location is much further and ultimately costed $16 just for the drive from and to. Equipment looked like they didn’t sweep inside. And in the end after returning procedure was complete, I was asked to put keys in drop box near entrance of the building but they didn’t have any. I looked all around the building and couldn’t find it. Encountered 2 cayotes in he parking lot while looking for drop box. I had a reservation at 11pm but wasn’t able to pick it up at that time so when I arrived, though it said it was active, I couldn’t pick it up. So I had to cancel it and reserve another. Because it was after midnight, I was in a hurry and assumed that the reservation was for 24 hours because my previous one was 24 hrs, but it turned out that it was only 4 hours and was charged another rental fee. It would’ve been nice to talk to someone.

We had a minor hickup that the truck broke down but the staff expedited the service for us and we recieved the containers, in the afternoon of the contracted day. Emily VWhen I walked in there was no one at the counter and I had to yell into the warehouse to see if anyone was there. There was a long line by the time someone walked out from the warehouse. After the General Manager helped me, everything worked out fine, but it took longer than expected. We originally made a reservation at the location on Torrance Blvd in Torrance, CA, and when we arrived, the office was closed so we called and a very rude person answered saying they were closed and our reservation was transferred. He was very rude and we had to call customer service and wait for about 10 minutes to find out where we could get a truck. Very stressful.

It worked fine except it did not have the same amount of securing rings with which to hold the boxes in place. All worked out fine, and I would do it all over again!
