Very tight, with a lot of equipment and vehicle's. Store manager lacks common courtesy, please and thank you. Dropped off trailer in return area, she said back it up to the pick up area. This is not easy since it is very tight and around a corner. After i did so, she seemed surprised that i hopped out of my truck, instead of continuing to adjust the placement of the trailer in just the right spot to avoid having to physically move it her self. The attendant that hooked me up was excellent and safety conscious, she should be in management training.

Check in agent Terrese provided excellent customer service! Only challenge was checking in return vehicle after hours but I was able to contact after hours number and agent walked me through it as the bar code would not scan for me during the process.

I scheduled the truck over a week in advance. The day before I was to pick it up, I was informed that the pickup location was changed, to a location further away, and also with major construction on the road to it. This made it much more difficult to pick up the truck. I do not see why they could not move the truck to the location that I had previously requested. Upon picking up the truck, the agent requested a signed lease agreement for the apartment I am living in. This was never mentioned while I was filling out the online form for the reservation. I have a Utah Drivers License, but am living in Houston for 18 months while on a mission for my Church. I told her that I was helping another missionary move and that I was going to leave my car at the pickup location while I used the truck. She finally agreed to allow me to use the truck but did not seem too happy about it. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with the pickup process.

They really do take care of their customers. I had a long day of moving 4 bedrooms and 2 livings rooms worth of stuff from a third floor apt. Been awake 28 hours packing and moving. HORRIBLE experience!!!!! Lady manager at this place was super rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I booked for 3 days and my reservation was somehow changed for 1 day. When I got to the store I was told by this lady that Uhaul does not rent trucks for more than a day. I told her to hold off on doing anything with my reservation so I could call customer support for help. I did and the person on the phone changed my reservation back to 3 days I explained what the store people had mentioned and even offered to move locations if easier. But the phone person said it was an easy fix and requested I go back to the store counter so they could check on my reservation and see the update. When I went to inform the store customer service person the manager lady got upset and said that I went over her head and that now other people were not going to have a truck to rent. I told her not my problem, I originally requested three days and the Uhal site said it was okay so how was I supposed to know. She argued as much as possible (for about 15 minutes) but I did not budge. She was tring to convince me that it needed to be changed to one day. I told her if I was wrong then its okay to fix but if not then I needed those three days. When I was walking away from the customer service desk she said, "This is why America is the way it is". Referring to me. This is SUPER offensive (Since I am Latino) and in order to avoid any more confrontation with this crazy person/store manager lady, I ignored her comment and kept walking. Im am VERY disappointed there are people working at this Uhaul store who do not care about customer service. Not once was I rude or raised my voice, instead I was trying to understand but it just seemed like these people were just upset they were not getting their way and they took it out on me verbally. It was stressful for me and my senior citizen parents who were present. I dont ever plan on going to that store ever again because of fear of another confrontation like that. Side note: I paid for a hand truck but there wasnt one provided in the truck. I did not go back into the store to avoid another fight. Not fair too.

For months the Camera feature has not worked on the U-Haul app. Which means I cannot scan my drivers license or take photos of the van. I mention this every time I rent from U-Haul. The staff acknowledges the issue does occur - but nothing seems to change. As I drove away, I noticed the interior windshield was so smudged that driving was tricky, and the interior cab floor was dirty. This location is excellent and I’ve never experienced dirty equipment before. If that camera app had functioned I could have submitted images as requested on the email link provided.

My experience with the U-Haul storage facility at 7022 Cypress Creek was excellent. I searched several nearby facilities before settling on them. I chose that faculty because it was well lit, clean, had limited hours for safety reasons, and truly kept the climate control units at a cool, dry temperature. (I found some of the other storage places that claimed they had climate control really didn’t, as the system was on a motion sensor and air conditioning only came on when someone entered the building (otherwise it was hot)). Plus, on one occasion when I was late with a payment (it only happened once), I asked for a refund of the late fee and managers obliged.

The facility is nice and the staff were always very friendly. however the price increases became simply unjustified and destroyed the value of your site. Given the large number of units with red tags for non-payment I think you'd be better served by charging slightly less and actually collecting monthly rental payments rather than charging more but locking people out due to non-payment

Staff members failed to explain to me that I have to check in at the front entry before going to the back. I went in several times with my card not working and I had to walk to the front every time, however the card wasn’t the problem it was I wasn’t checking in and out because no one explained to me that’s how it works. A little more information would’ve been helpful when I needed access to my storage unit one night. Also I thought I had 24 hr access which I didn’t know I didn’t have like shown on the back of the card.

If Champion Forest had 10 stars, I would rate it a 10! Ava, runs a first class facility. She went out of her way to make my move in helpful and right. I had complications with my move from when I picked up the truck in OKC. It did not leave a good impression for me and UHaul. Then I met Ava! Customer service extraordinaire! She does what it takes to make your experience great. Champion Forest location will be my Houston location. She should be training your people or the goal for other Uhaul locations, and customer service in general. Again, thank you, thank you , thank you, Ava!

Goodmorning I just wanna say mental health is real, I was going thru a lot with moving to another state. I met Ms. Ava back in March when I came for a U-Haul storage. The most sweetest, kind, and have a wonderful smile. This woman goes above and beyond to make sure every customer is satisfied. She’s a fast-pace worker I mean did you see her in action taking care of all 6 customers at one time. Thank you Ms. Ava for smiling, speaking and waving and helping out with everyone. Your kindness will go along way, thank you for letting me borrow the dolly, as a single parent moving everything myself you really help me out to the fullest.. I’m not going to any U-Haul but Champions because of Ava..

The manager was very rude. I wasn’t able to get access into my building and so I went into the office for help. When I went in, being that it was my first time renting a unit I thought I was doing the entry access correctly (which I was). I informed her I can’t get in and she kept asking me if I checked in which I did and then asked me if my pin was entered in correctly which I replied it said thank you Victoria on the small display screen. “Also, am I in the right location?”she asked. Why am I being asked the same question over two to three times? I’m not slow and I tried to gain access but there was difficulties on y’all’s behalf. It just came across as it’s not rocket science. Mind you you’re familiar with your job so you can’t expect for others to already know what to do. You should be open to helping people without the mannerism of someone inconveniencing you. For someone who doesn’t know anything about public storage. I just needed a little help and patience’s . Mind you nothing was wrong on my end. I just couldn’t get access into the door for some reason and she couldn’t find me in the system. So, when she went to go swipe my keycard that she made me it still said access denied. It took three to four swipes for it to go through. She could have had a better demeanor. The customer service lady was amazing and the guy that helped process our refund was also amazing. Need new management! I was thinking about staying but after that encounter I went home and decided I don’t want to rent through this location.

The attendant’s were rude and impatient. The lady with the glasses and the lady with the curly Afro were talking about customers and their personal business and situations in front of other customers. My swipe card was not working after walking back and fourth 3 times and the lady with the Afro told me oh well she don’t know what to tell me and went back to the desk. They were super unprofessional and their patience was nonexistent their tone and remarks to customers and about customers was appalling.

I had to get a public storage with another company. The reason I didn’t complete a move in was because I was told this was an outside access unit. I asked a couple of times if they were sure because it said it was climate controlled and asked if it was a miss print. But then I thought maybe they did it for areas climate. Manager took care of things on my end except finding me another 30’ unit close by. I also think this facility should be fenced and limit or direct people to not block others using facilities.

The light bulb was somehow hanging below the fixture when I moved things in, but I only needed to store items there for a pretty short period, only ever accessing the unit again to remove everything in it, so I never mentioned the absence of a functional light. Hopefully someone will fix that in B124 before it is rented out to someone else.

The only complaint l have is not being able to reach anyone at the storage unit when calling . I always have to call several times before getting anyone to pick up. Do not understand why I was not returned the balance of my September payment. Was paid up through the 30th of Sept. Removed all items and cleaned the storage (unit B031) on Sept the18th. Did not receive a pro-rated money for the 12 days I did not use the unit. We left the unit locked! Will remove lock on the 30th

I am very disappointment. I was overcharged for a U-Haul rental. They charged me for the intial fee plus. They said no deposit was charged however the amount taken out suggested otherwise. The next day after I had returned the truck. I was charged an additional day plus some other unaccounted fees. When I spoke to bother customer service and the rep in office. They said they had no Idea.of why the charges occurred. Since they are pending charges I was told nothing they could do until the fee post. This error causes my account to go in overdraft. I was charged over $150 more for just a 24 hour rental. I will not be using them again.

Elevator stopped working. There was no back up plan other than having a elevator repairman in. We should have a back up plan to ensure customers always have a way to get their belongings. I reserved 2 units last week online. the staff checked me into the 10x20 and then informed me that the 10x15 was not a unit this location even offers. I had to cancel both as they didn’t even have anything comparable in size available. Incredibly inconvenient.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had after having to drive two hours away and two hours back to get the U-Haul I reserved on my graduation day I’ve been drove eight hours across the state of Texas to find out that the storage I reserved did not have a lock so they sent me to another location those storage or flooded finally the third location 30 minutes from where I’m living did not have my size so I had to get two smaller storage is all the way in different buildings complete horrible customer service

The day after I got the unit I went back and my code was apparently changed without my permission. Once I got back into my unit there was no light bulb. At the end of the lease I had one hour left to get my stuff out and the storage was closed at 9 pm when the sign says it’s open till 10. All and all not a very good storage and I will not be using uhaul storage again.

I will say this when I first went to rent my space I was treated very rudely and kicked out of your store by the most unkind rude person I’ve ever met in my life, thank God she’s no longer there and I did call corporate. Reserved space was told it would only take a few minutes to check in. Instead the staff member couldn’t find my reservation and the computer would not set us up. Then code would not work so we waited for over 40 minutes with two moving vans waiting to unload. Final the manager stepped in any we got into the unit.

UHaul was there when I needed storage. The policy that prohibited me from cutting off my lock was tough to the tune of $119 to secure a locksmith, but overall, I rate the establishment Excellent.

Was told over the phone that when I booked my trailer that I would get my first month free and I explained that to the associate that helped me yet I still got charged for the first month and that’s frustrating. My whole experience with U-Haul has been the worst ever from booking the trailer to the storage. Will never use you all again
