Side windows so filthy that I had to stop at first gas station from U-Haul facility and clean so I could see on either side/ Left item in van, was on hold 35 minutes until someone picked up / 24 hours later, I still have not received my bill (was supposed to be emailed). The gentlemen (employees) were good, engaged, but the operations left a lot to be desired. Even for a U-Haul facility.

JAMES MThe van had no gas in it prior to use the low fuel light turned on 2 miles after I drove off the lot. The oil change light was on and popping up every few seconds. The door open notification kept coming on no matter how hard I closed the doors. The unit was dirty inside and out and had candy wrappers in it. I put more gas in it then It had in it which is ridiculous. To top it all off I had to pay an extra 7$ for a random charge. I am very upset over this experience and something needs to be done to fix it.

Ryan LMaybe clean out the back of the trailer. I had to sweep construction debris from the inside of the trailer we had a lot of work to do moving furniture didn’t need another thing to do .

Gregory HThey messed up our reservation and charged an extra $120 that we then had to make multiple calls to have reimbursed. You should train your staff better in my opinion. We considered not renting at all but had no choice, it was very stressful.

COLEEN MGet quicker computer modems, I have rented dozens of times from this location AND three seperate times the Computer system was painfully slow , there was a massive line waiting on a Saturday with a few people walking out saying they will go somehwere else to rent.

Engels AI've rented from this location several times and every single time, the windshield is filthy. Also, for some reason, the door dinger would go ff whenever the driver's door was open. The lights were turned off, and the key was out of the ignition, but the dinger still went off
SHANNON CThe customer service was not the best had me waiting for a reservation i had made a head of time and had me waiting about 35 minutes for a truck because the first truck they gave me had no battery smh and then had to wait for a 2nd truck overall the truck did its job but I think they need to communicate a little better so that this doesn't happen to another customer like myself in the future ...
JESUS COne of the tires was partially flat and needed replacing. Roadside assistance got us to a tire repair shop and we were in and out in about 10 minutes. Impressive

Jim SI reserve an appliance dolly. Guess what they don’t have when I get there? I have a tow package but not the adapter. Was that mentioned when i reserved the trailer? Nope. I spent 5 minutes filling out the reservation online including my credit card. When I get there what happens? Needs to run my credit card. Whole process was ridiculous. I feel bad for the employees. Not their fault. I’d rather pay double than rent from uhaul again.

Told in office where vehicle was and pointed got out there and had to go back to the office to get assistance a vehicle was blocked in. Said vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas when started the light was on and it was below empty. Had to slam doors to close them. Etc…
WILLIAM FI would be hard pressed to find anything that needs to be improved.These guys and a lady were all business.The did manage to give a smile after we were all done.I was disappointed with the height of the storage units that were only 6ft.hi!

ANDREW PThe Location we ended up renting from was great. However, U-Haul completely screwed us and cost us our Thanksgiving. We originally secured this rental on 11/13/25 Reservation #98073563 for Thanksgiving Day. The idiot who made the reservation apparently cancelled it and when we arrived to the location at 11am as discussed nobody was there. closed! Our plan was to pick up this truck load on thanksgiving day and be in Las Vegas by Friday afternoon so we could enjoy our Thanksgiving on Friday evening. This set us back a day and we had to cancel. We had to drive in California traffic 30 miles out of our way to secure a U-Haul. Such a huge inconvenience!

ROBERT DFirst it took me almost 30 minutes to just get the truck then after I finally got it I had to trade it out for a new one. Then I was charges $15 more than I should have for milage. I'd never use uhaul again. Worst customer service you need a background check to rent the truck. All around bad.

RICHARD CMy rental experience was a nightmare. First off the trailer straps were different than other units you guys rent out. Second of all I didn’t receive a printed receipt with information for roadside assistance. Third of all the trailer had the safety chains missing and I was not able to properly secure the vehicle i had planned on hauling. Fourth of all the trailer was not properly inspected for all lights and when it got dark cars kept honking and flashing lights at me came to notice that the hardness had tape and i was driving with no lights on the trailer and almost got pulled over because of it… HORRRIBLE EXPERIENCE Talked to the guys at the corona location and they said sorry and that was about it Im very upset because i use this location atleast 1-2 times per month so i will be taking my business elsewhere

MICHAEL KThe brakes on the truck were not great, even when it was empty. Also, the windshield was filthy and the wipers were completely trashed. The right side arm was actually broken. Fortunately we only needed to take a couple hundred pounds of drywall debris, but I can't imagine how the brakes would have been fully loaded, or if we were driving in rain with non-existent wiper blades.
SHANNON CThe guys working just could be a little nicer. I get it, it’s a job they may not like but as a customer you don’t need to act like I’m a bad guy for coming into rent equipment. If I’m paying for a service I don’t want to seem like I’m the problem.

And he went in and gave me a different key for another u haul that wasnt the one first rented to me so i am concerned that theres a reason for them doing that but they were friendly and efficiant but a couple issues that shoukd of been noted as to the condition of the truck like stated and the truck seemed to not engaege while driving it but it is ok but i expected to get a truck that didnt have issues but all turned out fine and i wil be returning it prob tonight as i had it for 2 days one way

Aldo V | First ImpressionsI spoke to the GM of this location prior to my move out date personally face to face in the month of May and told him that I will not be keeping my storage in the month of June and will move out my stuff my then and to cancel my storage. He then went and processed a payment in the month of July from a family member that I did not want so they were basically lost on there money paying for a storage that I had no items in or access too as I threw away my key and had no desire to EVER RETURN TO THIS FACILITY. Then when I contacted him on in the month of July to cancel the storage and to issue a refund to the people I didn't want paying my storage.he tells me I have to sign a release form saying I am releasing my storage unit and retrieved my belongings.i fill out the form and send it to him via email. He calls me back again and says my signature is too small that I have to refile the form and send it again ?? Then takes two weeks to finally cancel my storage and send this feeback form ?That was my signature regardless the size. I felt discriminated against by this GM with his sarcasm courtesy and belittling condescending demeanor .

The hours are reasonable, but did need to come back the next day because they close earlier than I usually need, but that was a work-around I was able to do.

This happened right outside the store's storage entrance which has cameras. This was the day I checked in and dropped off my U-Haul truck rental. So it was day time at the storage facility on the store grounds someone walked up and stole it out of the U-Haul truck on property grounds. I asked a store rep. If he can check the cameras for what actually happened that day. He said he would call.. never got a return call...

Donna H | Online Move InConstantly the computers would be down and kids work there never answers the phone instead just sit around on their sale phone. I had a 50 dollar VIP voucher and the kid said the computer couldn't accept it at the moment ,he said that he could call corp and see if there was something to do about it but he didnt want to cause it was Sunday and they probably wouldn't answer anyways . I called and got someone on the phone within minutes. The corporate customer service manager then tried to call and they never could get them to answered either I had to go and tell the kids their boss was on the phone then they answered and only after speaking to her and their manager did they try to work something out then he told me they could only discount it 30 bucks unless he called someone to get it changed on the other end which I said call then so in the end they honoree the 50 dollar voucher but only after I did way more work then I should have had to do on my end . Also In the mix I had lost my key to my lock and knew how to drill the lock with out damaging anything to which I was told I'm not aloud and would need to pay a lock smith which is 170 -200 dollars . Just FYi your policy is bs when I went to drill the lock I was stopped so I called the police to which they were agrivated about even wasting time on this they told me and the workers at the uhaul that the lock was my property and so was what is in side the locker that it is unlawful to stop me from poping the lock myself . So in the end I popped it myself. This scar taxtic is crazy on uhaul side . So In the end all experience was terrible both on the Chicago uhaul side and even more on the riverside location . I have never been met with such horrible, lazy customer service. Theres a whole other experience listed on my file of when I moved in . I will say everyone I spoke to on the phone from corporate was very respectful and helpful never had an issue with them .there is so much wrong with the riverside location I am surprised they are allowed to used the uhaul name .
