Staff not friendly. Had their own conversation regarding how much work they had and disparaging the company at the counter. They wanted me to park the trailer I rented between two other trailers, risking damage to equipment. Also, the sizes on your website are MISLEADING. I rented a 4x7 trailer, but the inside measurements did not accommodate a 4x6 sheet of plywood I bought. Useful size of trailer is not shown when making a reservation. Your site prompts you to make a reservation, so the interior size of the trailer should be mentioned, not just the exterior dimensions. The trailer was USELESS. I wasted time and money renting a trailer that was too small for my needs.

I am a senior citizen that has used uhaul all my life. With them not allowing me to use the vehicle for the time they charged me for, was unacceptable. I am so disappointed with Uhaul that I sent an email to their General manager and he/or she, didn't even have the courtesy to email me back. Wow have times changed. Customers used to matter--not anymore.

The person who was helping me was RUDE, Cocky, and he was always on the phone talking to somebody while helping me park the utilty trailer at a TIGHT PARKING SPACE. he was also arguing with me when i ask him why do i need to park it at thre exact trailer parking space when its too tight to manuever and i might end up hitting other trailer on each side and the light post? his answer was well, you have no other choice! its the U-haul company policy!! I am surprise that i cant no longer leave the utility trailer at U- Haul parking lot instead? I am being required by this desk guy to park AT THE utility trailer exact parking space align with all other utility trailer which is very tight to manuever. i had been a loyal customer of UHAUL for so many many years but due to this bad experience with this RUDE and Cocky employee i am asessing my options if i will still rent at UHAUL the next time i need rental equipment. if he is one of my employee i will terminate this guy in a heartbeat!! My experience was very unpleasant the truck that rented was very dirty it was not possible to carry my things like that and I myself had to clean it both in the cabin and the back box when I returned I tried to get the staff to listen to me and I only received rude answer did not mean to listen to me literally turned his back on me.

What you can do better is provide the customer the equipment as in the confirmation email and not have the regional office call you a day or two before to let you know that there are no trucks available of the size you need and have a confirmation email on. Do some training with your staff on how to explain to a customer why they were sent a confirmation email and the difference between a confirmation and a request. UHaul will not be my first choice as it has always been in the past..... in the future I will search out every other option of rental moving companies/vehicles before calling UHaul. You may have lost a customer for life!

I just like to know why did I had to pay a extra $25.00 Cleaning Fee for the outside of the Truck? The person didn't even know if there was a charge for the outside of the truck but she still charge me for it. I even paid for the extra coverage on it. I would like to receive my $25.00 back


The return of the trailer was quick and flawless. I was told that the originating U-Haul did a “very poor job hooking up the trailer.

When we received the truck we waited until he was finished "checking it in " as I was told. The person at the desk informed me that I had a full tank which was great being that I was unfamiliar with the area, when in the truck I noticed the tank was 1.4 I went back in and the person at the desk told me not to worry about when I requested it be changed on the paper received 1. Gas was at 1/4 which is a far cry from "full" 2. The windshield was dirty both inside and out 3. And I highly doubt it was sanitized in any way shape or form because it was dusty and dirty Being that the area in which this county resides I believe it is in the purple tier and due to Covid I felt extremely apprehensive in even putting my hands on the steering wheel, I just so happen to have sani wipes with me and completely covered every area of concern. The truck drove fine and our return was good although I had to convince them to deduct the extra day of what you call equipment insurance. I left the truck with more gas than I received it in and wasn't offered any deduction. I really am uncomfortable due to not being sure where or who last used it and will follow up with a covid test I might sound extreme but you just never know and feel your company should follow protocols in ensuring the safety of everyone including staff who did not wear gloves. I expect a response and a refund of sorts. Thank you Juley Soteros

Hi There When I picked up my rental and was checking out at the counter, I was asked to remove my mask so they could take a picture of me. I dont understand why I photo had to be taken of me when I provided my license (twice) to uhaul, once online and then again in the store, and then provided my credit card (twice), once online and then again in the store. The photo was taken with a cell phone. This goes against state and federal mandates for use of masks indoors. Can you explain why your staff asked me to do this and put my health at risk? This is unacceptable in the midst of the greatest pandemic of this century and I was asked to put my family at risk for a photo. I have a wife and elderly father in law at my house. Given that this is the only instance I have been in public without a mask I hope we don't have to take legal matters if in fact Corona Virus enters my house from this encounter.
