The way that the calls go into the uhaul # really suchs i had called 12 times to try to get the person I needed the morning i had to leave out as my motorcycle didn't fit in the trailer picked up the day prior and had to drive it all the way to tn in order to find another trailer to haul it. I never got someone on phone i went to another uhaul to drop off in same town as original wasn't open then finally found one myself searching. Cassidy in Warner robins was very helpful in trying to get me on the right path to get fixed. And find another on website. Knoxville was great service in assisting to get back on road ASAP. Mchenry when I dropped off was very helpful too. So overall yes the phone assistance sucks big time and in store employees had been great.

None of the employees seemed willing to help. Had a reservation pickup for 9am was not helped until well after 9. Also asked for a motorcycle trailer and was told theh can not do one way even though the trailer had advertisement on it offering one way. Brought that up to the employees and they said we'll it's the only motorcycle trailer we have while there was another motorcycle trailer sitting right behind him.

Your employee "Chuck" makes sure that everything is quick and efficient. Feel safe taking the equipment in that it has been thoroughly inspected and double checked. Very quick return process and receipt of a final receipt. Appreciate the above and beyond service orientation.

I had payed so I hooked it up an left. When I came back from using the trailer. Ther was a younger boy that was nice to me an helped me. I will be using another location. Chuck worked professionally and proficiently. A far cry different experience than from the John Sevier Hwy gas station location that rendered questionable practices and no assistance whatsoever with attaching nor detaching trailer and didn't even want to provide hard copy paper work. John Sevier location was worst experience in 40 years of using your services. Chuck on Rutledge Pike provided services at the very top of that list.

We were asked to bring a Ubox trailer to Nashville, TN due to a need for these trailers in that location. The pick-up was easy, however, someone changed the pre-arranged drop off location which caused frustration and multiple phone calls to straighten things out. It also affected our pre-arranged drop off of the U-haul truck location.

The store at Easttown Rutledge Pike did an awesome job taking care of me I first went to the store on Maryville Highway in HALLS did a reserve rental went to pick it up and they would let me have it because they told me all the trailers was frozen to the ground and they would not send anything out i’ve never heard an excuse like that. Yes it was cold. It was 22°. It was snow on the ground, but they didn’t wanna get out there and hook me up. That was why they wouldn’t let me have nothing after I reserved it. I will not go back to the Halls store in the future. They’ll always be the east town Rutledge Pike store.

I waited for 45 min for a reservation. I wish the approval process had been done before I arrived. I honestly was annoyed at the process of mobile check in because I was under the impression that it would be quick and I wouldn’t have any wait time. Over booked trucks. I made a a reservation weeks in advance and when I came to get the truck. It wasn’t there. Messed up my entire move. Poorly managed. Don’t wait to call and see where the truck is when I’m standing there in front of you. Check on the truck when it was supposed to be in.

We did the pre-check in. When we arrived the man at the front desk was extremely busy as it was UT moving day. But he was very helpful and even came up to us about 1/2 hr later asking us if 'everything is ok'. I believe his name was Aaron.

I called the uhaul store before renting to ensure i could use an elevator to all storage units as i planned to store a large piece of furniture, simply because i could not get it upstairs to my apartment. I planned to store it for a few months until i moved. I had previously rented a truck costing over 200 dollars to get this unit, plus paid for it, then rented another truck to get it from here to the storage facility. I purely used both trucks for this piece of furniture. over all cost was nearly 400 including storage unit. at no time did anyone from the store pick up a phone. I was sent to a call center who assured me there was an elevator. I went ahead and rented using online and a debit card. I picked up the truck i also rented, got the unit, went to the storage place and up the elevator to find the unit was up an additional set of stairs with no elevator or ramp access. I was unable to lift the furniture so i went to the person at the desk and we just cancelled the storage and donated the furniture in a donation area so i didnt have to rent a truck for a 3rd time at another loss. i requested a refund. she said it would come. As I hadnt received it 10 days later, i again called and was again directed to the call center. they stated a check was requested. when i asked why as i had paid by card and did not request a check they had no answer. they had the manager call me. he called and stated the check was sent to a po box i do not have in strawberry plains even though i rented to my home address and used my id. he is looking into it. all told, i am still out 400 dollars and change, and am just really disappointed. I am not well off and this is alot of money to me. everything aobut this experience was awful. I am just glad neither me or my husband got injured as we were moving a heavy large piece of furniture. i will never rent here again.

Honestly this location is the only one that I'll use, or recommend anyone of a different race to use. I tried Chapman highway at first because it would have saved me milage, however the tall heavy set white guy that works there wouldn't accept my paying with my US BANK debit card on my mobile app (My original card hadn't been mailed yet) , even after I told him I just used my mobile app debit card info the day before with the location on Rutledge Pike. To come to find out, my son who has his own moving business,and is probably one of uhauls biggest customers,told me he's been having racial issues with the same guy the past few years,and actually had to call corporate on him before. I wonder how much money uhal misses out on because of that guy who works at the Chapman highway location. To sum it up, im very satisfied with all members of the staff at the Rutledge Pike location.

The light is good in the hallway but inside the storage it gets dim. The entrances don't seem very secure, but there are logins, plenty of cameras, and alarm systems to back that up.

I have n will always recommend this uhaul facility branch off ruttledge pike exit , My wife n myself have both sent many friends there to rent yalls moving trucks , pickup trucks, and ur storage units , My wife has even had her cleaning clients buy boxes n moving supplies from your business at uhaul many many many times , as well as us as well we have done alot of business from UT uhaul branch at ruttledge pike exit , they have wonderful staff employers , was also very sad to see management of Mr Jason ???? The people were very kind to me but my brother who was given access was given a huge issue and ended up not being able to add items to my storage unit. My brother and I had polar opposite experiences at the same location. I worked with 2 wonderful men. I forgot there names but my brother worked with a bigger brunette women who had a superior complex. He was noted on my account and I wanted him to have access; he knew the code, all my information, looks exactly like me, has my same last name, knew the contents of my storage unit, has the key and still couldn’t have access. Anyone else wouldn’t have given him issue. I had to come 1000+ miles and leave my elderly grandparents alone to be able to clean out my storage unit and put it elsewhere because I couldn’t have him add to it or help me deal with all of it since.

I had already been having a rough couple of months and she has no idea just how much her kindness to my children and I blessed us. Warning! when storing your boxes into a storage unit make sure that you do not buy boxes with handles on the side of them. It leaves access for mouses or rats to enter into the boxes. This is what happened to us when when we went to get our boxes from storage to bring them to our permanent home. There were 2 visitors that travel from the storage unit to our home, luckily we didn't bring any boxes inside of the house. So I advise if possible buy boxes that have no handles or if you do buy boxes with handles tape up the sides of your boxes.

It took me 2 months to find our belongings, Wade who was manager at the time, had two guys come & steal our Uhaul truck while I was in the hospital recovering from a stroke, alot of our items were either stolen or broke. Wade was suppose to file the paperwork but, he refused, I have pics of the units condition when I finally found the location of our property. The price for the units per month is too expensive

Nancy and Jason were very helpful and no matter what question we had they had a solution , we were moving from our U-Box To a storage unit on the third floor. The building and outside are was very clean and organized all of these things helped to put our minds at ease that our household items would be safe and secure while we looked for a new home in Tennessee. Great facility, Jason especially a great employee as was Chuck, the last truck I rented though was filthy outside and they had to clean the cab as a previous renter had smoked and there was a lot of ash and terrible smell. Most of the exterior damage had nothing been noted and the app frozen causing me to have to take a ton of photos, also my trip scheduled was approx 120 miles from facility to home and to drop off and I was only given 100 miles.

The guy running the place was really helpful and responsive. Always helped me out when needed. I'd suggest replacing that really dangerous elevator and re-marking the exit door upstairs that read "Emergency Only" so people would easily know it was okay to use that door during working hours.

For Uhaul a East Town-Excellent!!! For Uhaul Call Center-Poor We rented a truck and then a storage-They reserves a space that was tiny and would not accommodate the size of the truck only because that was all that was available. So, we drove 25 minutes away to the storage center in Alcoa only to be told the call people do this all the time. It was a waste of time. The guy there reserved the correct until and we had to drive another 30 minutes to the one that was available. The guy at the East Towne was so welcoming and just took charge and took care of everything. He was so kind and helpful and more than that-he was understanding we were quite frustrated. He deserves a raise!!!

This Uhaul storage facility is an up-to-date, clean and well maintained location. The management and staff at this location are truly Why it is so deserving of a 5-star rating though and why I would recommend it above all other facilities within the area! Transaction took entirely too long to retrieve my uhaul pod. Uhaul employee complained about “the system” and had to make several calls to find a back door method to release my pod.

Very nice staff very helpful even gave me a free used lock called pay it forward. Was a bit pricey but I felt my belongings were safe and secure.

Staff did not solve questions regarding premature locking of the unit, additional fees; and collection of rent during final transaction. Online payments were not readily available. Final day was good.
