The vehicle was dirty on the inside. Not only did I have to remove the visor myself and put it away it was dirty with food from someone who used it previously. Instructions on returning the vehicle were not clear. I returned it afterhoirs. I scanned the QR code as I read on a small sign on the key return box. I did receive the download for the app but again Instructions at the drop off site or on the app were not clear on how to return this without having to sign into yet another account I did not want to sign on to. When I called the location to ask about this I was very coldly told that "there were other vehicles returned fine don't know what your problem was" were the exact words . No assistance before, during, or after my rental . Very poor all around will not be using uhaul again.

Then trying to leave the lot I had to ask the manager to come out and drive it out of the space. My other issue is that I don't quite understand why I start off with a tank of gas under half. Why don't they have customers fill up the tank like all other rental vehicles? I had a 10am reservation and this truck was not ready when I arrived. The big cardboard poster was still up in the window. I'm disappointed also that the initial reservation I had with Coastal Self storage got moved to this location. I would not rent a truck from the Fall River location again.

KEVIN NThe trailer I got was messed up, after a few miles down the road it started making a unusual noise, had to take it to another uhaul to get it swapped out, they made me call road side assistance even tho I was in there parking lot before I swapped it out, I wanted to just return it at this point since I had sat on the phone for over a hour, I was told I wouldn’t get a refund and would be charged $200 for returning it to the wrong location. After finally talking to a general manager I was able to swap it but it took me all day.

REBECCA RI rented the U-Haul on the 25th Sunday of this January and I was greeted by a woman about 11:00 a.m. it was a very professional and refreshing moment I've gotten in a long time from any business. And when I return the truck later in the afternoon not only did the gentleman that was working helped me get money back because I didn't use the estimated miles and treated me just like the woman did in the morning, with the utmost respect and with professionalism. I highly recommend this U-Haul place because they were honest with every word they said and none of it was a lie everything was exactly how it was described I've had trouble with them years ago with them holding my debit card for three four days at a time but not this time they either hired two great people which I follow were later was the sister and then the brother who were the ones that attended to my business. Everything like I said came right off what I owed and the rest was put right back immediately they just held the estimated amount instead of putting holes on my money that could last days instead they took the customer's word and trusted that I was telling them the truth. Honestly that goes a long way with me and I will continue to put my business right there and I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move. Thank you for your great experience and I wish I knew the names of the brother and sister that waited on me because they deserve all the credit for this transaction.

This company knows people mainly move on weekends so they charge almost 2 dollars a mile on the weekend only. Scam company. The app fabricated that another family is waiting for the uhaul if you keep it past your time of return. Customer service at this location is great. Policy is trash.

On top of that the unit I was given was absolutely disgusting and a large pipe that is in it which can stop me from being able to use my unit to the full extent. Went two days later to see if it was taken care of and it wasn’t. I was going to see if I could switch units however with the lack of security and uncleanliness I would rather not have a unit at this location.

The rodent issue is frightening. The rotten odors coming from different units, the constant smell of freshly burned cannabis from within the building and the overall cleanliness are issues. I fell while I was there on uneven, unmarked concrete. I notified the office and nothing was said or done. It was on camera, but nothing happened. Moved out after 1 month because it was a horrible experience.

The tread on the belt is so worn down, there is no grip, so a lot of the items kept slipping down and we needed to carry them up the stairs. Other than that, the experience was fine.
