Well when I woke up the next morning the trailer was loaded and left rear tire had a screw in it and it was flat of course I had no choice but to get here for it and keep an eye on it and the next day it was flat again

Check engine light was on in the truck. Steering wheel shook violently when going over 40 mph. When I pulled over to check the tire pressure, one of the front tires was almost bald and had severe dry rot. I also noticed the hood was not closed. I am not happy at all with my experience and wont be renting from this Uhaul again.

I had rented a 26 ft truck 3 weeks prior and when arrived it was not there. We had to settle for a 20 that made it more work for us. The manager was very accommodating and it was the previous clients fault. Renting next Sunday again. Will call day before to see if truck there.

I had initially reserved a 20' truck for Saturday September 30th at a New Bedford location. When I called to arrange pick up U-haul had informed me that the truck was unavailable but recommended the fall River location. I arranged to pick up a 20' truck from the Fall River location on Sunday, October 1, 2017. When I arrived, the customer service representative informed me that I was lucky that I came early because all of the trucks would be gone soon. I informed him that I reserved it and he stated that it didn't matter, "it's first come, first serve". When I entered the truck, I found a half full (opened) 20oz beer can along with two (opened) vodka nips. I informed customer service and he laughed. Inside the truck was also filled with phlegm on the floor and windows. I also purchased two glass moving kits that stated on the package that it included a box; it did not, and unfortunately I found out once I had left the store. When I returned the truck the service representative was apologetic but stated there was nothing she could do on her end and that I need to contact corporate. I contacted corporate U-haul to inform them of the issues with the truck and then to inform that my debit card was charged before I even returned the truck; how could they charge me when it was an estimated cost? The woman was very patient and kind and took all of my complaints with seriousness. The representative asked if I wanted an email response or a phone call, I requested a phone call. Instead, I received an email from GM, Joseph Santucci to notify me that he refunded me $60.00 and that if I had any questions to feel free to contact him. Mr. Santucci did not leave any form of contact except for his email address. I replied to the email and requested that he contact me via phone, as I requested. Mr. Santucci did not contact me, I sent another email, Mr. Santucci still did not contact me, and then I sent a third email requesting that he contact me and he has yet to reach out. I want to inquire how he came to the value of $60.00. The other issue is that there were open containers of alcohol in the truck, if I were pulled over for any reason, I would have been charged with a DUI. That is unacceptable to me. I will be filing an additional complaint against Joseph Santucci. This has been a terrible U-Hual experience. I would NEVER recommend U-Haul to anyone. I would suggest borrowing someone's truck before I would suggest U-Haul. My next step may be to notify channel 4; Help Me Hank!

The people at the location were great. However, uhaul itself is terrible. I made a "guaranteed reservation" and when I got to the location they did not have any trucks available. They overbooked and I was only lucky enough to get a truck because someone came to return one (not the size I reserved). There were at least 4 other people that walked in that had the same problem. I was on hold with uhaul for 30 minutes to try to resolve this, only to be transferred twice with no resolution. This company overall is awful, but the people at this location were great in helping resolve the mess that this company made for me to begin with.

at first my reservation was not there so i had to wait til next day for truck i needed but i have to say they gave me 50.00 for not having truck that day so my rental the next day cost me nothing in fact i made 6.00 but most of all i saved 44.00 on my move GREAT JOB U-HAUL

My storage unit 3128 in Fall River Mass. at the Lewiston Street address, auctioned off my whole lot, which pretty much have everything that I owned in life and that my children owned in life and that we work so hard to get and also we had ashes of chew loved ones in our unit so not only did we already losing one's now we've lost them again due to the negligence sea of U-Haul and very promise, which is to keep your items safe and protected but yet they auctioned off my lot after already taken my payment & having a verbal agreement as to when we were going to pay the next installment because we were a little bit behind we got the OK we call the day we were supposed to be made the payment it was noted in the system two weeks later we get a refund in our bank account that came from U-Haul, so I called U-Haul and the GM there at the fall river in Livingston Street office named Colleen, was so very highly disrespectful while denying anything that I told her, I told her about the verbal agreement from a male on the telephone line who had to ask his manager if it was OK to extend our time to pay and the manager was already arguing and yelling at another customer but either way she told the customer service representative that it was OK & they promised that my stuff would be safe, so we made the payment on time just to find out that they had already auctioned off my stuff (my children's & My lives stuff, and lost loved ones that were in their urns with their ashes, were lost as well, so I not only not only lost them once , I've lost them again) the day of the phone call & recorded a verbal agreement, but COLLEN would then go back and say we never made a phone call it was never any arrangement, and then she says that her CSR did that wrongfully by giving the OK and also denied that she had a male workers which room we speak to but then would give me other information saying I won't point she has no men working there and then the next point there is a mail that works there but yet still in her mind we did not make any phone call but we have records of that phone call and also it was recorded. I would advise anyone not to deal with U-Haul on Lewiston Street unless of course you want your stuff being auctioned off because that's what they do. I will never ever use uhual again, and I advise all of you that use U-Haul for storage or a rental to cautiously be aware because they are guaranteed promise is nothing! Got my lawyer on deck & will absolutely make sure we respectively and righteously get justice served to us! I am just about ready to have a nervous break down because of this incident, Colleen the manager of the way she was yelling at me and the things she was saying to me she had no remorse whatsoever no sorry no nothing… She needs to be fired she is not a good general manager for that store and nobody should have to put up with her. I realize losing everything that we had in our lives can never be replaced, but there will be action, and the

The storage unit was archaic and disgusting rat traps everywhere and we did witness a rat scurrying around. The female staff person was awesome but she had a male counterpart that was a total jerk. Not helpful and a total waste of space. He was extremely sarcastic and no help to his teammates. There is a male who was new to the facility that was so helpful and had to do the job of the jerk don't want them to be confused. The nice guy was slim and the jerk had man boobs.
