I rented a truck for 2 hours at $19.95 and ended up paying $70 in additional fees. Totally ridiculous..I'll never rent again!! Also I put gas in too..so tack on another $10. In the end it was not worth the money I spent! The girl working there was very nice though.

I registered on line the day before I rented the truck. I still had to wait almost a half hour,. There were four other people ahead of me in line. What is the point of registering online? Not happy at all about your registration on line process. It's a waste of time.
They let a truck with rotted brakes leave the lot. It wasn't until we were in route that the warning light was beeping saying there was a break issue. Uhaul service repair came to the vehicle to inspect and said the breaks were rotted and there was break fluid everywhere. My husband could have been seriously injured or worse had his breaks failed while driving on the highway in a 26ft truck. The manager at the Fall River uhaul is refusing to refund. Highly disappointed that your company and staff doesn't value patient safety. We couldn't sleep we were so scared.
When I picked up the vehicle! The person behind the counter which was a femal! Was very helpful! But when I returned the vehicle! The young African American boy was very rude! On his phone when I walked in! I was having a problem loading the u haul info! And he stated that if I could not check out on my phone that I would be charged 20 dollars if he had to do his job! Horrible experience and will never return!!
Staff was knowledgeable and professional. Transaction was quick and easy.

I was charged 15$ for gas I already replaced but because I didn't answer a text the girl at the register wouldn't give me a refund I explained I was having trouble with the site and she stood firm no refund I showed her the picture I took of the gas before I left she still refused to give me a refund and was quite rude about it I understand added fees but I do not understand paying $4.05 a gallon for gas that I had already replace it I will not be returning if this is the continued standard some understanding should've been shared I also explained to her that there was trouble getting onto the site to try to reserve a van I ended up calling the number in the city and not the one 800 number she still was relentless needless to say without resolution I am Dissatisfied and disappointed in your company
Get a new employee
I was told by your UHaul rep, at this location, that we must provide a copy of our license via some form of phone or computer delivery to the store. I did not have that capability. I seem to recall that the web site I stated that the Uhaul office would do that here if I had no way to do it on my end. I was also told that I needed to take pictures of my rental before and after the rental of the equipment. How does one do this if I have no camera? Why make it as difficult as you can or your customers? K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) should be the motto. Not everybody has a cell phone or and Ipad to do this. Some of us old timers are into that new age stuff. Revise your system to make it easier not harder to rent from you.

I opted for remote pick up for the 15' truck I reserved. My time was set for 7:00 am. I followed all of the directions but, still had to call in because my reference-call people were standing by waiting to clear me and U-Haul wasn't calling them. Finally, after I physically called in, one of them was called to vouch for me...just one of the two. It was close to a 30 minute process to remotely check-in and get moving off the lot, which I didn't anticipate. The â€œcheck engineâ€ light was on and the truck only had about a quarter of a tank of gas. Now, my first stop had to be the gas station, which I also didn't anticipate having to do, time-wise. About an hour later than anticipated, we finally were starting our very long day of moving. I drove 70 miles, total, that whole day, returning the truck with exactly the same amount of gas (if not a little more than) it had when I picked it up. I pulled in, to the return equipment area, and waited in the truck, as instructed by the signage outside. Nobody came out of the building, after about 15 minutes, so I went inside. The clerk was busy speaking to a FedEx worker. He acknowledged me though, to ask if I was returning the truck. I told him I was. He told me I could just leave the keys in the truck and go. Nobody ever physically checked the truck with me or anything like that. I was charged 2 separate fees; $98.07 and $97.15. This doesn't make sense, as my contract was for $29.95 for a 15' truck, $14 for Safe Move, $5 for Safe Trip, and $70 for .99/mile, totaling $118.95. I looked at my receipt and saw that I had been charged for furniture pad rental and utility dolly rental, both of which I didn't use, 2 fuel fees; $30 and $28, and $111.27 instead of $29.95 for the 15' truck. I reached out to the branch, explained all of this, and was given a $10 â€œrefund receiptâ€ in my email (but don't see it reflected in my account) for the furniture pad and dolly rental fees only. I was told in a voicemail that I returned the truck with less than a quarter of a tank, which absolutely wasn't true, and that's why I was charged the 2 fuel fees. The other fees weren't explained or addressed. I am hoping U-Haul will please truly refund more than $10 of the $76 over charges.

I will NEVER rent from uhaul again. I will also be informing my friends and every social media outlet I am on to never to business with your company. Not only did you customer service team hang up on me, they have also charged me for charges that I will be disputing with my credit card company. The â€œmanagerâ€ of this station needs to not stick up for her stoner employees and do her job. Incompetence at its worst.
Truck has maintenance sing on could barley drive kept almost turning off while driving and was very stressful transporting furniture thinking im going to break down luckily the new apartment was a few streets away from my old one. When I explained to the employee she said it needs and oil change. Shouldn't be rentable if it not maintained.

Make the return process easier. The web site I was forced to use would not advance past submitting a photo of the odometer and gas gauge. I spent a half hour trying to return the truck. Finally the person on duty said leave the truck and I will take care of it. Why did I have to waste so much time? Why couldn't
