We did not get the furniture dolly in the Uhaul we rented. I called and mentioned it 1 hour after pick up. She told me it would be removed. When we returned it, the dolly charge was not removed. I emailed them about this, and haven't received a response. I would recommend making sure items are addressed correctly the first time. Thanks.

Mark AMy reservation was set for drop off in bemidji, somehow it got switched to the Fargo main location. The ladies that work at this location were extremely rude to me regarding this mix up saying no you didn't when I know I did. Then instead of helping me come up with a solution or helping me fix it they took my deposit and charged me an extra $300. I'm a single non working mom on a set fixed income. Now I have no money to buy diapers or anything else for my 2 babies. I will never use uhaul again.

David RAt rental, I was told that the vehicle was completely full of gasoline. It was not, being closer to 3/4 full of gas than completely full. I was not told of any compensation for this discrepancy. I did return the vehicle completely full, save for the less than 10 miles driven from the gas station to the drop off point. The vehicle also had not been driven in over a week, due to the dirt accumulation from dried rainfall on the dust of the outside of the window. This made it difficult to see in the oncoming sunshine.

MICHAEL MI would like to thank the team at U-Haul for being so efficient. It took me maybe 15 min to get checked in and hooked up to my trailer. When I returned the trailer it was about 5 min. The team came out and checked the trailer out for damage and I was gone. Quick and painless. Thank you again!

SCOTT LThe low fuel light lit up after driving a block. That put me behind schedule and put me in a tough spot to try to operate and return the truck at a low fuel level. Returned it half full with no compensation.

Joseph B | Overall ExperienceThe guy running the store didn't have access to the change drawer so I had to use my card for a 15$ transaction and because I had to use my card you guys scammed me out of 44$ because there needs to be a minimum of 60$ to use a card so the guy tacked on a bs deposit charge and said that I would get refunded same day well it's been over a week and I still haven't gotten my money back so thanks for robbing me uhaul I'll never go back
STEVEN CI was given a uhaul that was not recently checked on miles and gas and I was over charged for there mistake.
CORALINDA GRented a Uhaul 15' truck, went to put fuel in it and ended up dumping 3/4 tank of fuel on the ground due to some sort of fuel tank issue with the truck. Brought the truck back and was upgraded to a bigger truck, which worked out perfectly. Frustrated the first truck had issues and caused a significant loss of fuel. Unfortunately the gentleman working was unable to assist with credit for the fuel, though he was trying everything he could to resolve our situation. Likely would not rent a Uhaul truck at this location.

Nicole SFor several years there was a struggle when our drivers would be picking up the truck for non profits needs. More times than not, it seemed, an issue of the driver not being the person placing the order, and our organization's payment on file could not be accepted. So usually a phone call needed to happen to clear up this situation. We are very glad how smooth our first order and pickup went along using our new corporate account of Down Home. We truly wish we could have been informed of the corporate option years ago. We are hoping that this will finally eliminate our problems we have had prior with our drivers truck pick up. We have, on the average, rented twice a month for our program. Thank you.

JEFFREY MAt pick up truck was dirty and had 31 miles left on tank. I dropped tank of with 51 miles left on tank and received no compensation. But unknown to me was billed an additional 17 dollars apparently for going over a set amount by 17 miles. 1 dollar per mile. So charge to my credit card that i was not aware of until receiving statement via email. Social media goes a long way especially when it is negative

SCOTT DRefrain from selling customer equipment that is not needed to connect trailer wiring. Answer phone during business hours. Scheduling return drop off and closing early before that drop off time warrants reasonable efforts at contacting affected customers as notification (phone call.Text msg, email.) Potential avoid unnecessary complications ect.

Also, as far as the price, this outdoor unit was more expensive than an indoor unit I have of the same size. That is why I made sure to get out before my free month expired because it was not worth the price. I also don't understand the access hours because I tried accessing my unit early evening one time and was not allowed entry due to the store being closed. Overall not a terrible experience but would not store stuff at this location again.

I just wanted to point him out because he was quick, cheerful, and just made everything easy. He was like that with the customers in front of us too. I wish I would have gotten his name. Storage units were nice, I like the one floor and outside better than the giant building uhauls. No pest issues too for it being outdoor. If we need a unit again the Main Ave uhaul would be the one we'd use again.

The whole experience took approximately 30 minutes.

Corinne K | Overall ExperienceI personally called many times to reach the staff at the UHaul office and no one ever answered. The security gate was always broken or left wide open. The door closest to our unit was removed as an access point forcing us to haul all of our items back and forth down the length of the storage unit once we were done utilizing them after each of our swim meets. We as a team learned to adjust to the previously mentioned reasons for our safety ie. making sure we went to the unit with a buddy and visited only during the day light hours. The final reason we left was due to the fact it wasn't heated. We paid for heated storage as our electronic touch pads for the swimming pool can be damaged with cold. Many times, I accessed the space I could see my breathe inside the building. Ultimately, we moved to a different UHaul facility where all of our concerns were eliminated.

Kathryn P | First ImpressionsI had a great experience for many of the ten years until someone climbed over the unit walls and stole many items and ransacked the containers/boxes/trunks. We contacted the police who came and reviewed the incident and also asked for video footage to be reviewed with no results. It seemed that this could have been easily researched by finding out who leased a unit adjacent to mine to have had access over the small crawl space for a good length of time. Also the empty units were left unlocked and people would sleep, do drugs, etc in the units making it eventually an unsafe place to go. Having secured these empty units would have made a world of difference. Eventually, the back (south) doors where secured for exit emergency only but the unleased units were left unlocked so the transient population could till use them for there own. Frustrating as these units could easily have been locked by Uhaul. Perhaps heated indoor units is not the answer to secure storage. Thank you for this exit interview. And hope this helps for future secure units.

Signed up for auto payment when I rented but it didn’t work and when I went to access my storage I was locked out. I understand things happen sometimes but was not happy that nobody was available to let me into my unit when payment was figured out. Also, gate was frequently just standing open when I came or when I drove by. Rented through the winter and several times when I came my lock was frozen shut and I could not get into my unit. I feel someone should have been able to assist me instead of telling me there was nothing they could do.
