For one I need to file a claim against damages to my car. The person who hooked up the trailer did not do a good job. The trailer jumped off the trailer ball and hit the back of my SUV while in the parking lot of the U haul. The attendant assured me she would make a report. when we arrived, the tire had gash. No way to get fixed, but wasn’t losing air. So I asked if we could get roadside assistance once we get home to fix the tire which we did worked out well, it was either that or drive across town to get another one, and anyone knows when you’re moving your slammed for time.

This review rating should be based on 1-10 and not yes or no. Outside drive-up units have no light. So bring your own light. Associate did not show sizes of units. So I paid for a unit that was not what I expected when I opened the unit I have since moved out and have rented one climate controlled indoors and bigger for a lot less.

I had a great experience renting a storage unit from Jeremy. He was patient, kind, professional, & friendly throughout the entire process. I was stressed, worried and just overwhelmed. He was very responsive to my inquiries, and was efficient and got everything done quickly while still remaining courteous and respectful at all times. I can honestly say Jeremy went above and beyond to help me! I am still moving stuff in the next day and I did see Jeremy maintaining the outside of the facility, he stopped what he was doing and asked if everything was okay and did I need any assistance with anything else with a friendly, while it is raining out. We need more humans like this stand up guy! 5 stars!

The cashiers has zero customer service experience. When I came into the office I greeted them with a smile and said good morning and no one responded. Her attitude was not pleasant. Beside that the truck need repairs the break lights were not working properly and the powering steering hard. And the truck has a lot body damage..

I cannot remember the gentleman‘s name, but there is a Hispanic gentleman with long hair that has exceptional customer service and he was very, very helpful and professional. He deserves a raise. Also, there is a young lady can’t think of her name either, but it was a black female, she typically has a U-Haul cap on her head. She also was very very polite, professional and patient with me. Both of these employees deserve some type of raise or gold star whatever you guys do for your employees because they are the reason that I spent my money with you guys and they are the reason I will send my friends and family to U-Haul , and just to be sure this is the U-Haul off of Fuquay and 45 in Houston Texas the service that they provided me with second to none

Employees should undergo sensitivity training to better deal with customers that’s in an emotional state due to mostly financial reasons during natural disasters. Jeremy at the Gulf Frwy location at 45s is awesome and he deserves the best things in life. I hope his hard work doesn’t continue to go unnoticed. Overall he made this a pleasant experience for me. The move in with much more professional as I have known U-Haul to be, however upon leaving the facility to return home to Dallas the representative was very arrogant, insisting that I had not called to reschedule the move out due to living issues suffices to say I made it through with no consideration at all from the representative, my complaint is a prorated price for the rental not being used the complete month when I had call to reschedule and reschedule the move out. After carefully, considering the overall experience that I have had with U-Haul I will continue to, use them in the future as I surmise. This is the one time occurrence.

There was an incident wrongfully accusing my husband of racism and aggression as well as disrespectful employees that made the business look bad as a whole. Everytime I came to this establishment, they hardly followed protocol nor did any of them have manners. Occupant’s up for auction, please contact them regarding any possible personal items left before unit is sold at auction. Phone calls for monthly rent due reminders help, and I miss those calls & emails. Maybe I would have been able to avoid my items being auctioned.

Only problem was me getting into my storage when I needed to sometimes, because it was the very first one and they always parked their trucks in front of it so when I went to go get In. It some days I couldn’t and wasn’t able to because they waod park in front of it, which was a problem on most days to access and they where never any help.

The storage experience was great but the moving experience was terrible. They were so late that I was forced to pay for an extra day for the truck. The staff noted the account that that charge should be waived, but they tried to charge me anyway. What level management do I need to contact to get that resolved?

By far my favorite storage facility ever. I got the big 30ftx15ft unit and with my construction business javing that 24 hour access is perfect. The assistant manager is awesome and hopefully the rest of he staff there are as well. 100% recommend this uhaul if you need to store your stuff.

Excellent in response time from on site staff when asked of anything, wether a question on something they don't have an answer on the spot or something being added to my rental agreement, I've always got an answer to before I was done doing whatever it was I stopped in for . My unit was broken into two times. I was never notified by management. Approximately 3 thousand dollars worth of household items were taken from unit. Management sid I would not be charged last months rent to give me time to get what possessions were left moved out to another location. That also never happened! I was a customer for 8 years but I will never use u-haul again!

Horrible and rude management. My unit was broken into in May. I work out of the country and the likelihood that I received notification was slim to none. When I finally returned to the states and attempted to access my unit to my surprise the locks were changed. When I went to the office to clarify the situation, the female manager, was unreasonably rude. Even discouraged me from calling the police to make a police report at the inconvenience of her clock out time at 5pm. She stated, “non emergency calls can take hours”. Thankfully they arrived an hour later. She would not open the lock because she stated, “There has to be paperwork filled out before I can open the lock and we close at 5. I would have to make an appointment”. I had arrived at 3pm. Needless to say, the next day when she was not available I was able to resolve the matter. Remove all belongings and close my account. She ruined my experience in ever using UHAUL again and will never recommend it. The lack of professionalism and accountability is beyond my understanding as how someone can be hired at the rank of management with her attitude. I hope this matter is resolved, not for my sake but for future customers.

This is my Second (2nd) Stint having Twenty Four (24) Hours Access with the Fuqua U-Haul location. Both management teams were Very Good to and Fair to ALL PATRONS!!!! And, the current staff has now taken this level of Good Management practices to a whole other level. They are even more out going to pleasing their patrons needs on a case by case basis. I truly appreciated both Christian’s and Jeremy’s Styles of Managing their facility. They truly have us, the customers the fair service that we needed in a timely manner. Additionally, them and their staff is very hard working. In conclusion, I would strongly recommend that a family patronize this location; and, of course, if I return to the state and this area, I would definitely use this location again, primarily because of the staff service style and helpful practices. Again, I would like to Thank Each of Them for their SERVICES‼️!!!‼️

It seemed as if we were inconveniencing the workers when the unit doors needed to be unlocked each time going and we went approximately 3x during the storage. The insects were horrible inside the unit. We literally had to place a bum inside the garage of the house before placing it inside. Which there was no issue within critters prior to placing furniture in the storage unit.

I had issues with my account info. As a Christmas gift I got Covid. The manager was very understanding with my homelessness and medical condition he and his staff and the contact person that called me where great. That facility and the manager went above and beyond. I will be going back when I am ready to move. I can't say enough. Very kind and respectful of my situation. Please forward my comments to the manager.

OMG. David listened to me through all my crying and was still able to understand how serious my situation was. He came up with the best solution for me and my son who just had heart transplant. and he helped me have a plan for the next week or two so I can return home ASAP. Above and beyond and explained everything to me.

One thing is you paid on the first due of the month, and you would not get money back after move out of the storage unit early. That suck!

Grounds are kept clean and well maintained for the most part. In my unit there had been water damage to my furniture due to a leak from the ceiling. As a result the installation was hanging down. The leaked caused water stains on some of my items. Also, I was not notified that the electronic access system failed and therefore all passcodes were deactivated. Luckily the office was opened the day I tried to gain access. Overall, all things considered, I would still recommend them to others.

There are some great people there and some not so great. But I will say that there are several issues that arose where the higher ups with uhaul resolved very quickly. I know that every one of us is under a lot of stress during this time so I will say that they are doing the best they can to provide a great customer experience. I just wish the hours to access the climate controlled storage was clearly stated that it is only during office hours and not until 10pm. Be advised.

My unit, was not an outside storage, but inside the building, it was not climate controlled, my items had mold forming on my furniture, was not 24/7 accessible, only accessible during the office hours, and my lock was changed without notification, the staff person couldn't find the key for the lock that was placed on my unit, I had to wait two days before I could get into the unit. I was not pleased on the few occasions that I went to the unit.

The only thing I had a problem with was the unit I had when I needed it after office hours it was a inconvenience because they would close and lock the door to building where my unit was and it was very inconvenience and it was hard trying to get someone to come and open it for me.

the thing is that i was not told that the initial unit that i had rented 261 was not 24 hours access so the door for me to go into the climate controlled storage was locked when i got there, spent 1 hour at the location trying to talk to customer service, joseph helped me get to another storage room that was 24 hours and door to go in was open, he told me that i might have to move my stuff back to the initial storage i had rented, issue is that my family is on vacation, i only had two guys that was able to help me move the stuff just for this time, starting monday, i am alone, also i have a finger chopped off with stiches due to a work accident, a 6 month old baby that needs care, and i have nobody to move the things back to another unit, and i would really really aprecciate if i could keep my things in unit 283, i think there are moments in life when there always and eception, i think i deserve it this time, please, and im looking for a place to move as soon as possible, last trip i got locked in the facility for 30 minits before customer service could open a gate since my controll works just for 5am until 10 pm, a couple of issues and miss understanding , is my second time renting at this location and i would do it again, please be considerate and help me, really need it, thanks

Tristan from the Fuqua location went the extra mile and beyond for me. I had to change my storage unit 3 times. And each time she was understanding with me. She listened to me and also reminded me of the 1 month free because i also had a truck rental. I walked in yesterday confused and stressed. Normally my mother handles things like this. Tristan deserves recognition and a day with all the trimmings. Thank you Tristan. 😊😊

My storage unit looked like someone tried to break in it and the last time I had a unit there it was broken into and over 20k of tools were stolen thinking yall would of upgraded the cameras by now but apparently yall just dont give 2 shits

The staff is friendly but unfortunately, my rent was raised right after I took a storage place, if I would know in advance that my rent will be increased within a month I would have sought another place. The staff informed me that they have nothing to do with the rent increase and suggested calling the corporate office, I called them they said the local facility will handle it or the local manager will resolve the issue, I spoke to the manager but they put the monkey back on the corporate office, so far nothing has been resolved.

My lock was changed someone had access to storage staff member lied about it personal items were stolen asked staff whom ever had taken items just please return they had access for at least four months. I've had surgeries had not been able to walk just want my parents items back!!!
