Kevin SkeateVerifying information regarding the vehicle having the hitch installed. I was hoping to do a one-stop-shop. Unfortunately, since the model of my vehicle was not verified, the wrong wiring harness was ordered, and it could not be installed. Moreover, the 2" ball and ball mount were arbitrarily removed from the invoice by the installer, and I didn't figure it out until after I left, so I had to go back to the store.

Tricia JohnsonThe gentleman who helped us was extraordinary and resolved and incredibly complex group of mistakes by U-Haul in booking labor for moving help, and after 2 hours of the phone the border was completely wrong and we were charged almost three times more than quoted. He fixed all this. I think his name was Randall?
HERBERT diane RANKINI rented furniture blankets / covers as part of my equipment rental. When I came back, the team on site asked me to fold 10 blankets for them. I thought this was extremely odd for two reasons. 1) I was exhausted from moving myself for 12 hours. The last thing I wanted to do was fold twelve giant blankets. Surely a better customer experience would be to let me jump back in our car and head home. 2) Why fold the blankets? They were dirty from me moving all day… does this mean you don’t wash or clean them after? Folding seemed pointless…
Michael BorreThis location was about the only thing that saved my overall Uhaul experience from being a disaster. These employees ironed out all the problems created at the national level and problems with the app that never worked. (Had not used app in past. Read others' reviews about app problems - they're all accurate). Thanks Golden Uhaul for all your help.

Mike AdamsThe staff tries to be helpful but they are not well-trained, nor do they display professionalism. The woman who helped me (while intending to be helpful), kept interrupting my conversation with my husband at the counter. But that wasn't the worst thing. The worst thing is that the car was FILTHY. It smelled horrific and the outside was so dirty that I literally felt that I needed to wash my hands every time I opened the door. The back window was so badly covered with dirt that it was almost impossible to see what was behind me through the rearview mirror. When I told this to the other woman who was assisting me at the return, she indicated that it was because of the snow and they couldn't wash the cars because the windows would freeze and crack! Really?! Nice explanation but that is just falsehood. It would have been better for them to say yes, sorry, we've been busy or we have not had the time to wash and clean the cars. I picked up the car yesterday and there was no snow yesterday or the day prior. Please, wash the cars. Not just for cosmetic purposes but for the safety of the driver, the passenger, and all others on the road. I do want to say that both women who helped me were nice and helpful. They were just not very well-trained in customer service and protocol; that is an issue with management and not these two young women. Thank you.

Chris OdiahBad attitude checking in. Wanted be get another hitch until they figured out they were wrong. Returned trailer after hours but 12 hours later. Left in checkout area right in front of store. They charged me $20 on a $30 rental for not checking out on the app. That would be fine except they didn't tell me that at all. Never mentioned it. They said it was posted, but I dont read postings on the store. I went to counter to get the trailer. I complained but they said they would rather keep the money. Bad karma. Bad experience.

Debra SebastianForcing the check in and drop off process to be conducted through an app was detrimental to my experience. I found the app much more difficult to use than previous times checking in at Uhaul by interacting with the human agent at the counter. For future rentals, I will be going to Home Depot or another competitor.

Patrick MaloneI had picked up a Uhaul for Girl Scout cookies. Because of the storm, they had to cancel distribution so we returned the rental and just mentioned in passing that it was shut down. The guy that had checked us in immediately went to the phone and called those who had mentioned that they were picking up cookies as well to pass on the information. It was above and beyond for his customers. Awesome customer service all around.

The one suggestion is to improve IT infrastructure/interface. Each time I rent is an ordeal for staff and customer alike to get through the check out process. (Returns seem to go relatively smoothly.)
