Equipment was faulty check engine light was on auto transport. Tire was flat passenger side truck tire had a gash in it down to the mesh car transport turn signal was not working. fuel had a leak in it. Drove all the way to Atlanta in an unsafe vehicle.

This location was great but my overall experience with Uhaul was terrible. I requested this location for my truck and trailer rental. A representative from uhaul contacted me a day before rental and told me my truck was not available at this location but my trailer was. They sent me much further away for the truck. I had to take an Uber to get the truck and when I arrived at the location I was told no truck was there. They then told me my truck was at the same location as my trailer which I had originally requested. I literally took my Uber right past that location of where both truck and trailer were and went all the way across town only to be told they didn't have a truck for me. I then had to get another Uber and go back to the other location I just drove past. Very poor communication on Uhauls end and cost me $50 in Uber fees that weren't necessary.

Whole area under construction. The truck drove terribly. Like the alignment was off. But hauling our load. Scary ride even the 13 miles. And we swept it all out before returning never used there small dolly or pads. Cleaned. Gassed. And returned. Magically the tab somehow removed itself from the truck being cleaned out and drove back to the U-Haul to drop off. Charged extra for something we never even touched. Highly disappointed and frustrated

Cap of the trucks smelt super bad and there was broken glass In the box. I had to clean the cargo box before I could even load my stuff into it

Black gentleman with 5 kids is awesome! Very friendly and helpful to anyone and everyone...and always with a smile!! Otherwise, construction of new storage has significantly disrupted operations and makes it very difficult to navigate the site, especially with it all torn up. Not sure why paving wasn't done first as there doesn't appear to be a need to protect from heavy equipment. Also need better signage at intersection direction to only ONE of two available entrances.

The only good thing about this experience with yoy guys was the folks at the storage facility. You guys messed up my reservation, gave me the wrong address on both the app and my contract for where I was supposed to go. However the guys at the booth storage place were very helpful and made up for all the other inconvenience.

I would not recommend this facility during construction 😑. My moving crew had to transport my household belongings from the far left corner of the building where there was no public access to the loading bay, on the opposite right corner of the building and the truck didn't fit into the loading bay. Otherwise, thank you for guarding my household belongings for a full year! In a climate controlled location. =)

The young gentleman that assisted with the pickup was absolutely incredible, his patience, his guidance, and his overall demeanor made for our car trailer pickup and connection to our truck a truly great experience. Sat there waiting for at least 15 -20 minutes before I was even acknowledged at the return lane. Only one person was in the yard, and he was hitching a trailer for customer.

I rented a cargo van from a very nice young man who was not very experienced with the process and he was the only employee on site as it was close to closing. It was really no problem because he remained calm and polite and his Manager was easily reached for any questions. This is my 4th time renting from Uhaul and the 2nd time from this location and i also have a storage unit at this location which is on Vine St in Grants Pass Or. I have thought of moving to another facility ONLY because of the access to my storage often is hard for me as the access closes when the business closes. I stay because i know in time that the access hours will be extending and i have always been treated with kind helpful people every single employee i have dealt with have been awesome, and thats important to me. As for the Van it was not as clean as i thought it should be and due to the time of day, and the fact that the employee was learning, a walk around inspection was not done. I did take pics though in case. Overall my experiences have been great and i really look forward to extended access hours for storage access.

Inform the customer that the refundable cash deposit is not actually paid back in cash or at the time of turning in the equipment. It is sent to you later. If I had known that I would have made prior arrangements to not use cash.

The trailer was covered in mud, the brake did not work as good as the first trailer I rented a few days before. I mentioned it to the guy and he just said the master cylinder was full ... I said maybe the brakes needed to be adjusted!

I rented a car transport trailer. Initially, I rented it for 1 day but as the trip progressed, I needed it for an extra day. I told the fellow when I rented it that it might go another day and he said that was no problem but just call and let them know. I tried to do this later in the day of the rental period but it became a problem. I tried calling 6 separate times on April 10th between 2:19 and 5:54. 3 of the 6 times a very busy person answered and said they had to put me on hold because they were alone and helping several people. I had to hang up each time and call back because the wait time became prohibitive. The other 3 calls were answered by a U-Haul answering service? I wanted to talk to my local representative so I hung up on these calls. Please, if you are going to instruct me to call in, have folks available to handle the calls. This was not a good look for you folks.

I was sent a text message from grants pass uhaul clearly saying that there would be construction and that I would only have access to my unit before the end of the business day on Friday. I drove 10 hours to be there Thursday to clear out my unit and they had already started construction. I had to get a hotel and stay up here for 3 extra days until I can access my unit and making me miss work on Monday at my new job that’s really important that I’m there . The manager was really cool and he said he was out of town while the text message was sent to the tenants etc said he would refund my rental extension for my truck which was 44 dollars but that’s no where near expenses of having to stay here for 3 days.
