Lied to our faces about having movers booked when we double checked two weeks before to make sure we had coverage. Created an extremely stressful experience where we had to book movers the night before our move. Additionally, did not have the vehicle we needed at their site. Staff deflected responsibility when addressing the issue. I feel completely disrepected as a customer and will never be using U-Haul again after this experience.

Gledek MAgain, our drop off location was changed and we had to drive 25 minutes (one way) out of our way. Then we were promised $25 cash reimbursement...but when we got there they had only a $10 bill on hand. The employee went above and beyond and gave us the money FROM HIS OWN WALLET, and said he would file a reimbursement form. That is ridiculous to put the employee in that position.

Abukar HUHaul staff were very helpful. They do not have storage facilities at this location. U-Haul's affiliated mover, Star Movers, were NOT reliable. I received the job confirmation for 2 men for 2 hours, but they were a NO SHOW on the day I moved. The phone number listed goes to voicemail. I left several messages, but no call back. I struggled to find a last minute mover/person. U-Haul should evaluate their movers and consider removing movers from their website if they are not reliable.
Stephanie CBoth mirrors were smashed, and no one told me or did a walk-around. I pulled out to the front to let them know they were both broken. I figured they’d assign a new truck, but nope - just put stickers on it.
Afton EThe 20' truck was a bit beat up, and the check engine light was on. But everything went great. The trailer was too narrow for confident backing up, but I managed. There's plenty of space, and it's very well equipped as a moving system. I thoroughly recommend it.

Sydney WTruck was in poor repair. Tires were bald, bulged and vibrated badly on the road. I had to drive from Calgary to Vancouver and it was extremely uncomfortable with the wheel/tire shimmy.

Andrei SI believe that U-Haul should invest in an alternative way of scanning customer identification cards. Having your staff use their personal phones to scan my personal information goes against FOIP and is a huge liability that can be reported to the government. I understand that the staff state my information is not stored in their phone, however that is not a guarantee and I have no way of verifying that for my own piece of mind. unless your staff are willing to hand over their personal device for a stranger to go through their personal photos and information, they should not be using their personal devices to scan or photograph my personal information. I recommend you get another source of scanning to protect your customers personal data like you are legally required to.

Mike WBooked truck with ramp ,to haul two motorcycles to a shop for safety inspections as I could not ride them there .The u haul depot is two blocks away, this was going to be very good. An hour before I was to pick it up at 20:00 hrs I get a call that it was not ready at that location. I said no problem I could pick one up at another location and I was given a location on other side of calgary in the north east side. The truck was there and the right number but no keys in lock box .my wife is upset now , we called back and was given a truck with no ramp . This is unacceptable. Three locations later we gave up .

Dave CThe contract they printed didn't even have any ink on it, so there was no way to read anything it said. This seems illegal. They did not explain how to drop off the truck if it was after hours. U-Haul changed my reservation three times. In the end, we were forced to drive to a further location, which required us to pay for more kilometres and use a bigger truck than necessary. I have not received a receipt with a breakdown of our costs. They said they would be crediting $50 to compensate for the change in reservation but I don't believe that has been accounted for. I honestly expected a more substantial discount for all the hassle and last-minute changes that occurred.

RAHIL LGave me the wrong trailer which ended up blowing a tire on the highway. Almost got.killed in the process. Ended up on the side of the road for 3.5 hours waiting for service to come change the tire then when I went to return it. They told me they are having issues doing the one way return. Come to find out what I had signed for is not what was hooked up to my truck.
Baffour APick in Calgary was fine. Quick and easy. Drop off in EDM took nearly an hour!! Understaffed and overwhelmed.

Rick LThis was an older trailer. It was clean but the tires were getting pretty worn down. Just a little over the wear indicators. This is something I feel should have been considered when choosing a trailer for me as I had a long drive of over 900km so was a little concerned, but all went well. I pointed it out to the drop off location and she made note of it. Service was excellent.

Charles LI've rented two different styles of trailers for moving things from here. Both times they were great. This is the place to go for good service and friendly staff who know what they are doing.
Marcus TBetter signage. With construction took we two tries to find the door. Not a pickup location issue, but I am very frustrated with the distances UHaul gave me for my last two pickups. You shouldn't offer pick up location options if your are going to change to significantly further away options. System should request your location and then UHaul should call you with possible pick up locations

Clark BOriginally was booked at a different location, was called 4 hours prior to my scheduled pick up that they didn’t have the trailer I required. Booked me to a location an hour away when I specifically asked not to be booked that far away. I ended up calling the Greenview location and rebooking for that same day myself after the other uhaul location told me there was none closer. Totally useless individuals. Luckily the guy at greenview was super great and helped me get the trailer I needed on short notice
Matthew GApp is a little unreliable. Seems weird that I enter my booking information on the app and then have to do it again in person?? Having said that, the two young gentlemen who checked my rental out/in (Ali? and didn't quite get the other name), were excellent!
