Pedro V was the worse customer service person I have ever met he had attitude befor I could even get out of the truck didn’t want to let me pay at that moment tried to get me to only get a email for the rest upcharged more than I was supposed to because he was mad that he worked 40 hours this week I was so upset I have never been treated so poorly
TIMOTHY LPedro was so efficient and had great customer service skills. The way he spoke to me and explained everything in detail showed he cared about my experience and took his job serious. You don’t see that with this younger generation and I was very impressed. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him running his own store one day if that’s what he aims for, regardless he’s going places! I don’t leave reviews often, but Pedro deserved one! Great job Pedro you have earned a loyal customer!

BRIAN JCustomer service was great - only issue I have is the truck. It was really dirty inside, beyond just needing a basic clean. It needs a deep clean. The truck also had opened bags of furniture pads and all were wet. We had already left before we realized they were opened and wet.

KELLEY STrailer was full of dirt and leaves. You are supposed to charge for a return that is not cleaned out, but then you ALSO need to clean it! We had to load in a hurry so this caused a significant problem for us! We returned it FAR cleaner than we received it.

I’ll never use you again after the bad experience from the call center to the places I picked up and dropped off the truck to even the chat disconnecting on me.
DENISE KOverall everything was fine. One issue was that when we arrived to pickup the rental there was a paper sign saying “Major Credit Card required for rental, no bank cards”. The shop did not accept Tap pay and all I had was my bank card. I had to drive back home and get a credit card. Couple things - I’m not sure the credit card requirement was clear in the communication leading up to the rental and also if you too tap pay I wouldn’t have even thought twice about the entire ordeal. Van was fine. People were friendly.
JOSHUA MI say no to recommending the drop off uhaul because of this terrible experience. I'd like some sort of compensation for cleaning the truck, otherwise, I am ashamed I trusted in this company.

LARRY FThere was trash left in the vehicle and the oil change light was on. No windshield washer fluid and salty roads were not a great combo. I drove 19 miles and was charged for 4 gallons of fuel. Very dissatisfied.

MANVIR VI was told by the representative that the truck was running and ready to go. When I got to my destination, I opened the back to find pillows, blankets, and bags of bedding and clothes. I had to drive additional miles to take this load to the dump before I could work on my own job. I saw a sign in the truck stating there is an additional $25 fee for not cleaning the truck. I think I should be reimbursed at minimum that $25 since I had to clean out the truck from the previous user. I would like someone to make this right for me.
TODD FPicking up the uhual was great. But droppin off was a nightmare and the customer service was a disgrace.. men laughing at me and not willing to help in anyway with backing up the 20 ft truck. Then i dropped off 3 hours earlier then scheduled and replace the gas i used and used less miles then i originally paid for was not reimbursed nothing and then got charged for who knows what. Would like a call back and reimbursed what was charged more to my account.

VERANIQUE SKeep up on maintenance of the trucks. It seemed the one I had needed an alignment or something. I was driving straight but the steering wheel wasn’t fully straight. Other than that, everything else was good!

CONNIE VI don't know how, but that entrance/exit is steep and difficult. I think I bottomed out leaving. If the layout could be adjusted so entry/exit are both at the other end of the property and not congested with equipment returns. It would be safer.

ROCHELLE BStruggled to get staff to explain how features of the tow dolly. None of them wanted to come outside because it was cold. Eventually the maintenance man came to help, but told me he wasn't used to setting up the equipment either. The tow dolly was covered in ice and snow. The first time I tried to drive my car on it, I almost slid off. When the maintenance person saw this he said he would go get me some help. Someone came out. They helped me get the car on the dolly and immediately returned inside. I was unfamiliar with the straps that went over the tires. The maintenance person came over to help again. I thought they were installed correctly, but later down the road they slipped completely off. I figured out what was wrong by myself. The maintenance person was extremely kind and helpful. He was busy digging out the garage and storage units from ice and snow, but willing to take time away from his job to help. There were three people behind the desk inside and one person in an office. None of them offered to help after the truck and dolly were pulled around and I was handed the keys. They didn't even walk out to the truck with me. One of the guys was standing there vaping behind the desk and there were no other customers at the time.

SARAH JGet some help at this location. The guy who helped me is under paid and over worked. I also told the guy out in the truck rental yard that the truck i was going to use had a check engine light. I was told to drive it. It was no big deal. The truck sounded like it was missing.

ARLEN FMark S. was super helpful, very understanding of our need to change the return location, pleasant, and professional. Everyone at this UHaul location in Hamilton OH was just so easy to work with and super knowledgeable about their jobs. Very refreshing! I've had generally bad experiences at other U-Haul locations, this was outstandingly different! I would recommend to anyone in the area or even if you have to drive a bit further, it will be worth it in terms of reduced hassles.

Marianne J | Overall ExperienceI was at Uhaul for four years and never had no problems and then my unit was broken into and everything that I saved for my children and grandchildren wiped out and nobody knew nothing. The general manager and two other employees circled me in the parking lot and a general manager threw a gun on me, I believe the general manager stole from me and has been stealing from others there I’ve got the detectives involved I’ve read other reviews of people going through the same stuff at the same location but as long as there’s no forced entry, nothing can be done is what I’ve been told. The general manager said that there would be no tapes found so I told a detective she went in there and the general manager told her that he can’t find the tapes how convenient I called corporate they called me back and traded me like I was a thief I’m running out of resources so I’m trying to get insurance the pay not cause I want some money because that end of the day I don’t care if I get anything besides having the perpetrator convicted I hope and pray that you guys get to the bottom of this The general manager, Alston, Lee Hobbs has a criminal background and should not be in the manager position where he has access to cameras, peoples belongings and information, etc. if anybody else out, there is having the same issues as me I’d appreciate it if you contact me. Lost my 1st storage of $3,000 dollars that devastated. My 2nd storage was moved to Storage bin B23 I later had to have a 2nd major back surgery became homeless & had to abandon my 2nd storage to afford a apt I was devastated again I paid up until July & the Mgr Mr Hobbs refunded me Sept rent so that I could have my Apt I thank Mr Hobbs because I am still healing from Back Surgery. & hated being homeless & in my condition I needed a apt for safety.Thanks to the Mgr Mr. Hobbs Much Appreciation Ms. Shannon Wilson 9/10/2024

I was considering personally moving my belongings as UBox left us stranded at that point. An hour later, U-Haul resolved the UBox issue, and I no longer needed the storage. I contacted customer service, but they said I was already moved in and would contact the manager. However, nothing happened. I am still in Michigan and have not yet moved. Now, I need to be physically present to move out including cleaning a storage that I never accessed, and I will be charged the full price. This is unacceptable!

Angela M | Online Move InThe entry door into the storage building has a 1-1/2" high metal piece in the doorway that can be very difficult to get over with carts. My trunks all had wheels on them but I would get stuck on that piece and have to lift the cart over it instead of rolling out smoothly. I've seen many dump their loads trying to get over it. Moving in and out was a bit trying and my back hurts from having to lift over that bump. You lose 2 stars just because of that.

Ernessa T | Online Move InAbsolutely awful experience. I was lied to on numerous occasions. I was sent the wrong drop off location. I was told I would be getting a month free of storage and that my drop off location would be the storage unit. The address I wad sent was to a rural king. Which added 40 minutes to my drive from the detour and when I got to the storage facility they said it was the first they're hearing about me having a unit. The only reason I was able to get one was some just so happen to move out that day and the unit needed cleaned. The storage unit is also a lot smaller than I was told. The GM Austin Hobbs was incredibly unhelpful since he did not answer his phone a single time I called him but was texting the working at the facility to deal with it and that I was blowing up his phone but would never answer. Overall horrible experience all around. I was expecting a larger company to be more organized and not constantly lied to their customers and give them the run around but I was sadly mistaken.

I’ve never had a unit with no visibility before, and would not recommend or use this facility again because of that.

The manager called me after I called customer service to extend my truck rental and they were supposed to extend til the next Monday night and didn't. So the manager calls me and gets rude with me and cussed me and then he hung up on me. The customer service line was no help as I was on the line for 2 hours and talked to 3 different people. I finally asked for whoever was in charge and I was told to call the president of that location and did so. The President was very nice and helpful. I just wish everyone there was as nice as he was. I won't be renting from that location ever again. I do not recommend that location. I also heard from someone later that they had the same problem with the same manager. Personally I don't think a 19 year old has any business being a store manager especially with his temper. He should be demoted or fired after treating multiple people this way. The disrespect was too much. I'm a customer and don't deserve that kind of treatment after I spent every penny I had on the truck and the storage unit. Over $300 and I got treated horribly other than the president. I advise to not go to this store period.

Called me in May to tell me that I was broken in. My professional craftsman tools you can no longer purchase were stolen and I had no insurance. They did not try to resolve the issue. Other property was destroyed as well.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere; my unit was not available as promised and so I had to get a larger more expensive unit to get truck unloaded. Staff was beyond rude, belligerent, and unaccommodating. My plan to prepay a year in advance has turned into looking for another facility who wants my business because I will not give another dime to this location. Even people moving out of the facility said to RUN, not walk from there! Unprofessional and unbelievable - contacted corporate.

The other staff members greeted me when I came in with smiles and kindness but this guy was straight faced and slow at his job.

Same with the uneven gap between loading ramp and where back of truck pulls up. Staff was nice and professional. Units and building were clean. Access codes at all areas worked well
