Dayne H | Overall ExperienceU-Haul has been amazing in renting trucks and moving equipment for me in the last 5 years! However, this time I have to rate them at an average because I tried to rent a storage unit and I no longer needed the storage space due to a friend helping and letting me use his personal garage space meanwhile I’m moving from place to place. Not only are the prices too high for a storage unit, it was a Maze and whirlwind trying to talk to the right person to cancel my rental. The mobile app was great in starting the rental, but it was a hassle trying to get customer service in trying to clarify issues, concerns and address my cancellation. According to my bank statements, my refund is still processing and it’s been a full week since I’ve told them that I no longer need the storage unit. I understand, it’s a business and clients wanting to cancel Services are last on the priority list. But if they keep this up, they will have more clients escalating more issues that do not need to be escalated.
