Staff was super friendly and actually stepped up to assist me as I was returning a vehicle right at closing. Nobody seemed bothered by the fact that it was closing time and everyone was polite and very helpful. I wasn't aware I was actually exiting the building after hours so kudos to the staff.



Everyone I spoke with was very friendly. I first called the liberty Township Ace Hardware near route four. They did not have the truck I needed, but he was able to confirm that the location in Hamilton did and was able to give me their number although he tried to book it from their system, for some reason it wasn’t working properly. Everything was very fast. I had a little trouble with the after hours return using the website. But that was probably just me.

There was traces of marijuana in the interior of the truck. When I brought attention to that to an employee they kinda smiled and laughed as if they already knew. And same with the busted tail light. - you can get pulled over for a busted tail light. Imagine if I had been pulled over for the busted tail light then they discovered the marijuana inside the vehicle? This is all after I waited over an hour for the truck. NO ONE was in line before me! They couldn’t get it to work in the system. No to mention the multiple transactions on my credit card from them trying, (over $300 dollars). I finally had to do it on line from my phone myself. I am not pleased with this location or Uhaul. Something needs rectified. I will be making it known in the community about this location & Uhaul until it has been done.

Better communication. For ex. Rented a cargo insurance..little scratch on the inside cost me 200.00. Was never informed of the 150.00 deductible and was never taken to look at the van.(oh..looked at the contract..nothing about deductible in that either). Had I known.. i would've went with the small truck. There is no deductible or worries about scratching the inside. Lesson learned.

My first reservation on Thursday was cancelled the morning of and none of the customer service representatives could figure out why. The reason was "other" and that's all they knew. My first U-Haul location then had no more trucks available so I was forced to schedule another truck the next day at a different location 15 miles away. Cost me $15 extra dollars for U-Hauls mistake.

The only reason I am submitting this review is because I truly did have a great experience! First of all I only needed a Uhaul for a queen mattress. As I told them the reason I needed it for an hour or so they recommended the company van for just the one item, which I was thrilled because they didn't even try to up sell me. So I bring it back to them and had a couple questions before returning the van. The general manager (real nice guy but forgot his name) immediately got up and answered that it does NOT take E-85 gasoline but regular unleaded, second he came out to the van and showed me why the dome light remained on during the entire car ride and after I shut the van off. And finally I told him about the huge dent that someone had left before I drove it but did not notice til after I drove the van off the lot. This team was great to me for even the simplest thing of me barrowing a van for an hr. I will most definitely recommend them so anyone i know and will use them in the future. Once again I am only doing a review to show my respect and appreciation to the team at Uhaul on high st in Hamilton Ohio. Thank you for your time!

I will not be renting from Uhaul again. The truck had several issues throughout our cross county drive (we added oil, power steering fluid, the AC didn’t work, the trailer tires needed air at almost every stop) and were not reasonably accommodated for our troubles. The late truck delayed our move and no one seemed concerned about the inconvenience. I was double charged for the trailer, and multiple calls did not resolve the charge. This is a temporary move and when it comes time to move back to California I will be more than happy to pay almost double to rent from Penske or another vendor.

The pick up location was just fine, but the issue was with the scheduling of that pick up location. Meaning I schedule the one-way Hal on 4-23-19 at my preferred location. And the night before departure, I got a text message that I was schedule for pickup at another location 45 miles away. WHAT.? I was already travelling 4 hours to pick up the truck and now had the pick up location moved 45 minutes further away. Not cool. So that evening I spent the next 4 hours fighting through your scheduling to get a location closer Eric to my preference. Not sure why my desired location could not be honored. That is why I booked it way ahead of time so u-haul could plan. I understand it was a busy time, but that is your business and needed to beef up this location to accommodate the demand. And was not cool I did not get notified until 12 hours before departure of the moved pick up location. I spoke and was transferred around 7 different times. Again not cool and not pleased.

Was very unhappy with experience. Pickup and drop off location changed to over 30 minutes away. Reason they said was because they oversold. Why did I reserve a truck then? Then after arriving at new location they could not find the keys to the truck and had to wait additional time. Will try different company then u-haul in the future!

I thought I already submitted feedback on this, but the survey still lets me access it so it leads me to believe I hadn't responded yet. Here's the rough overview of my experience. Phoned into U-Haul, and as is often the case I reached a Call Center, instead of your direct location physically. I asked if there was a pickup available at your site for 12 Noon roughly. They checked and said that unfortunately there were no pickups available. They said the soonest they could book one for me was 9 PM that same evening. I agreed and it was booked. I arrived at your site roughly 20 mins early and figured I'd try and check in early. I tried to but the app wouldn't pull up my reservation. I called U-Haul Customer Service and asked about it. They informed me my reservation was canceled for some reason but they weren't sure why. She helped me re-activate it and I then saw it appear on my App. I tried to check in, but it wasn't letting me. At one point I was referred to the place where you grab your key but the screen said I need to contact this after hours phone number. I'm guessing it led to your cell phone / pager. I was reluctant to call that number because I figure you literally just got off work and were relaxing at home. Customer Service looked into it and discussed with her manager. We both then soon discovered the reservation was switched to the location down on Dixie Highway. Customer Service couldn't fix it or change it. Eventually we decided I would take a Lyft rideshare to that location on Dixie Highway and Management would reimburse me for that Lyft ride. I picked up. Side note, the truck I picked up was dirty, not cleaned up during drop off from the previous person. If you're at all interested in pics from that pickup truck, let me know. Sincerely, Wyman Lew
