Very poor service by the staff. I've asked 4 different times to make sure my Tucson account was closed. I've yet to hear back for the last 3 weeks. I left a message for the Tucson area Supervisor, and he never called back.. WTF is wrong with you guys?

I was so happy that the gentleman helped me with taking a pic of drivers license. I don’t like having to pre register but he helped me thru all that. I thought he was so patient with the whole process, and checking in was a breeze! Give this man a raise! Explained all the procedures for entering the storage unit also! The facility was so clean also!
Ruth KNo pads were provided. I did hire mover helpers to load and unload my pod. As a 78-year-old woman, I was impressed with the kindness and courtesy of all the individual who help me transition from Arizona to Oregon. Although I was mostly moving boxes, this method allowed me to transport years of memories and family heirlooms.

SHERRI NI reserved a pickup which they did not have when I showed up. Then the tech stated rhe 10 ft van they gave me had a full tank and needed to be brought back with a full tank. When I got in it had 3/4 tank. I was charged twice for 70.35 cents. When I returned the vehicle I advised rhwn they charged me twice. So they printed me a receipt showing a credit for 62.00 . My bank account now shows 2 transactions for 62.00 and 1 credit of 62.00. When I was advised they gave me a free rental. Which should be since they didn't have the pickup I reserved. I didn't get a free rental nor a pick up There was a 30 min wait in line in the morning and the return of the vehicle was just as bad
robin tWe were requested to return the trailer in early if possible because other families were in need of one. We went ahead and unloaded earlier than planned and returned trailer. We called main number first to see if returning it 2 days early would ensure a partial refund. We were told no; U-Haul doesn’t do that. We even were told we couldn’t return it to the location by our home which is where I had booked it for. Had to go to further location because it was more convenient for U-Haul. This was NOT good customer service at all! Disappointing…
STEVEN RI rented a truck with NO BRAKE LIGHTS OR TURN SIGNALS IN THE REAR. I had my kid nephew in the truck with me, and this jeopardized both our lives. By the time I realized I was in clear danger, I was too far in the windy traffic to turn around!! My stress and anxiety and fear for our lives was too much. I’ll NEVER support Uhual again.

BROOKLEY MI rented a truck to move have rented from them several times with no problems rented the truck in the afternoon on a Friday returned it when they opened at 8:00 a.m. the next day Saturday but got charged for an extra day $55 on the rental didn't even tell me when I dropped off that I was going to get charged another day this was after I told the guy we could return it when we were done moving in the evening even if they were closed and he said that would be a $20 charge turns out it's free to do that on the app go figure, also due to some confusion I got a bill a week later for $1,400 because they thought I had kept the truck for an entire week and were claiming I didn't return something or damaged something that's absolutely ridiculous why won't they notice it when I return the truck done and why do I have a receipt saying I returned it at 8:00 in the morning in the same condition it was rented in with all the dollies and supplies returned too and full tank if I had kept it for a whole week or damaged or stole something?

I did let the young man who was very played at the end no and he said no problem. GLENN PAn Asst. Manager named Roy was the only employee on site when I rented the equipment and when I returned it. I would like to be perfectly clear; Roy was amazing and was hustling doing the best he could and assured everyone in line he was doing his best. Apparently the other two employees scheduled to work that day called out. If this persists with the employees at this location, with the exception of Roy, I will not recommend the location to anyone.

I distinctly said I was driving to Oklahoma. Evidently, the counter person did not hear that. Or didnt pay attention. When I dropped off the trailer in Oklahoma, as I said, three days early, I was still charged for additional days, and wrong drop off location. I am disputing this charge with the CC company. I am willing to pay ONLY the amount that I am due... Not a penny more.
RANDAL FOnly thing that you can do is fix the passenger seatbelt in the truck I rented. It locks in place and then has absolutely no give whatsoever. It’s like being tied up and held hostage!!!
ROBERT MI paid for the moving blankets (10.00 dollars) and I went to open them where they were mounted on the inside of the truck, and the was mold all over them which I deemed them unusable, I wanted to use them but decided against it as I did not want my personal belongings covered in moldy moving blankets, additionally I have photographic time stamped proof that this was indeed the case and can provide any evidence if needed. Could not get a refund at time of drop off due to the office not being open although there was employee on site at the time of drop off, he refused service to myself and several individuals who were in need of assistance,(I was there 25 mins before official open time) and while we knocked on the door he just ignored us like we werent there, he rather us just sit and wait the 25 mins till official open.

ERIN CUpon arrival I waited for over 15 minutes before anyone walked into the store. When he did, he was rude, slow and acted as though I was wasting his time. Didn’t have all the moving pads I requested and had no option to help when requested relief. He pulled the truck around and told me “the moving pads and your dolly are over there” pointing to next to the building. Not the typical experience I get from this place. He needs to go. Upon drop off a much better experience. Spent the time to ask about the experience and was super kind and helpful.
ANDREW RI have driven 20 miles so when I dropped off I filled up 2 gallons because I rented 10 footer which estimated 12 miles/gallon. I was still charged for 2 gallons when i dropped off. I would like to get refund for the extra charge.

CARLOS VSpeedway location in Tucson is the worse location I have ever encountered. 1st time i tried to rent a 5x6 tailer, my car needed additional wiring and told me he could not help me because they had fired the guy that works on installations that day that I was there. The guy was still working on install as well. I decided not to rent it. On Saturday 15th I went back to this same location with my wiring fixed from a different location. When I walked in with my luck same guy, I think his name is David. Was asleep on the desk. Same attitude as the 1st time. Like I was bothering him. All he said is " I'm ready to go home"! I will never go back to this location. Customer service is not the focus there I Guess.
YOLANDA CEverything around the truck was excellent. Pickup was easy, the person in charge was very helpful. Return was after hours, and I used the app. While the app was straight-forward, it still took a rather long time to answer all required questions. The app could need some TLC and should be simplified in the long run. The only real issue was with the provided lock to guard the rear door of the truck. It simply didn't work, and I couldn't secure the load overnight.
MICHAEL SMake sure that the people you have working as the face of your company have a great attitude...or at least passable. I have been renting U-Haul's for many years...I have never been treated so poorly.
DAVID SThe man working the counter seemed annoyed that I interrupted his dinner. was short and rude, and I had to remind him twice that I also ordered a box. Did not offer any assistance with the box, was just told that it was "over there in the middle". Once outside, no one offered to pull the truck out and they were parked so close together I wasn't sure I would be able to get it out without damage. Thankfully another customer was in the lot and helped guide me out. When I returned, I guy working the counter that day was just as short and rude. I ended up not needing the box I purchased and told the guy I wanted to return it. he asked if I had a receipt, which I explained that I did not have it on me but that I had a reservation. He said he could not return it without a receipt and the reservation is for the truck not the box (even though they were reserved at the same time). He FINALLY looked up my reservation and found that there was a paid receipt for the box and was able to complete the return. Ill be using just about any other location but this one if I ever need moving supplies again.

Suzanne HI had my stuff in the facility for 10 years and paid on auto pay when my money was running out I went there and asked if I could get a month or 2 free so I could get my financial issue straighten out and I was told by the person working that they could not do anything and I would have to come back and speak with the manager. I said I would and I came back 4 times and finally got a hold of him and he said he couldn't help me out. So after paying my unit on time for 10 + years I couldn't get 1 to 2 months to help me out. I'm 65 and retired and disabled ( amputee since 2022) and only get so much now and it doesn't cover much. I was so disappointed in your company and had to give up my unit since I wasn't able to pay for it anymore. Roy C | Overall ExperienceWhen I booked the unit I was not told it was a two story facility with stairs only. I was told it was temp controlled. I have had a hip replacement and have balance problems, and my unit was on the second floor. This was difficult for me. The temperature inside was 90 degrees when I was unloading and the small air conditioners were not working. However, one of the staff helped the young man who was helping me to get the two largest pieces upstairs and into the unit which was much appreciated When I returned to unload the AC was working, including the smaller ones, so that was better. Staff were overall helpful and friendly. So in spite of the difficulties from the first day it balanced out to be an average experience.

JEFFERY S | First Impressions“Secure and well lit.” It was secure as long as people didn’t hold the entrance door open. There are no lights in the spaces so a flashlight or other is necessary. The concrete ceiling and walls in the space kept cracking, leaving dust and small rocks on my belongings. I had to sweep up that mess every time I visited the space. There is a big thermometer on the wall by my space that said “temperature maintained within this range,” with the maximum temperature being 85°F. But in the summer it was common for that thermometer to read over 90°F. The junky little mini-split at the end of the second-floor corridor didn’t do anything. And since the doors for each space are usually closed and there are no vents or returns in the space, it is impossible to actually control the temperature in each space. So the whole notion that the space is temperature controlled is a lie. There is no elevator, so all of the carts are useless. Terribly inconvenient too, as there is no way to load up a cart, lock the space once, then take the belongings outside to load into a car or truck. The price increased every year, without justification and without any benefits to the customer. This is just plain greed. Your costs didn’t increase.
