I tried to extend my rental. The website didn't work on my phone and I was not at a place where it was possible to download the app. I tried to call, but the wait time was 20 minutes! I rented a trailer and it was OK, but the pins and holes for the ramp were misaligned, making it hard to use.Warren S.
Called and set up a reservation. Next day, received a call with a service rep promising me a deal if I pick up at a location across town due to Uhaul needing a specific truck sent to Phoenix for a lower rate. Went to pick up and the equipment and they had no knowledge of the updated reservation. They tried to work with me but the issues continued after the dollies and blankets were deleted from my reservation without my knowledge. Further, the trailer wheel fairing was detached upon pickup. A day after picking up - I received a text saying I had to contact them for â€˜not' picking up my equipment and was cancelling (what????). I got screwed on this and the worst is nobody knew how to fix the issue. Poor communication.PHILLIP C.

I do not like they took a picture of the front and back of my husband's driver's license. There is too much ID theft and data compromises happening to have that much personal information available to the staff and company. We do understand they need to verify if information but taking a copy of the license is a bit much! Original reservation for a Pick up Truckâ€”they called the morning of and said there were none in the entire area..accepted the 10ft, got there and only 15ft were available- after confirming rental rate and .69cent per mile were going to be honored we accepted... returned the truck at @10pm same day and couldn't get the â€œU-Haul.com/shareâ€ check in to work... got home still it Wouldn't Work. Called at 9:30 am to confirm Return â€”got customer service. Then got an emailed bill later that afternoon for a 2day rental plus .99cents per mile!!!! These people are sadly not in integrity nor do they regard a â€œhigh standardâ€ of customer care. If you want to spend hrs on the phone dealing with Uhaul's inadequate system of â€œopps!â€ We did it again and/or â€œtoo badâ€ nothing's guaranteed â€”Only then is this the company You want to choose for your rental needs. The experience at the counter and return was excellent. However, this is the second time I have attempted to use the mobile check-in and run into a problem. This time I couldn't find the truck presented to me on my app. I clicked Can't find truck at least four times, but I couldn't find my truck. That's when I went to the counter.Arthur F.
