Dirty trailer with used water bottles in it--had trailer for 2.5 hours and returned it. Drove into the bay, the guy unhitched it, said they would email a receipt. Two days later we get called asking where the trailer is. As we speak I have been on hold with the local U-Haul we rented it from for almost an hour--Had a brief moment after 20 minutes of somebody actually picking up the call, who then told me they could not find my name, phone number or contract number in their records, even as I held the contract in my hand. They put me back on hold after saying they were having a problem with the forms--still on hold but am now hanging up. NEVER want to rent from this U Haul again-HORRIBLE service and they could care less.

The guys fixed a problem that arose from a truck that was reserved at another location but unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. The way they handled the problem was professional and courteous. Problems in life are normal...the way they are resolved is what matters. Your guys delivered.

I rented a 9' cargo van for a short haul (60 miles r/t). Was very pleased to get a brand new (11k miles) van. Interior was very clean and smelled still new. Very good gas mileage (about 20 miles/gallon) and comfortable ride. Check in/out time very efficient as the staff was courteous and knew their job to get you on the road. I definitely will use this location again and recommend to friends/family. The cost was well within my budget for a fast, clean rental..

The trip was fine but the drop off location was lacking. When you put in the contract that someone can extend their rental for an extra day by paying another $40, then make sure they can and don't re-rent their truck to someone else until they're done with it. I was here till 1:30 in the morning putting my things in storage so I could get the truck back in time. Extremely displeased. Negative stars.

The exterior of the pickup was dirty when I received it. The service rep did not go through the bill with me (e.g., he did not mention or explain the $4.75 rental fee). Those two items are important, but not nearly so much as the following. I returned the truck after hours and shortly after leaving realized I had left my attache case in it. My sister called the location within fifteen minutes and left a message to this effect. Then I started calling at 7 AM the next day (yesterday), and the calls got forwarded to your 800 number. Twice the rep said she was sending an email to the location, telling them to check the truck for my case and call me and hold it (if found) until later in the day. I also chatted with a rep online who also said she was sending a message for them to call me.. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED TO ANY OF THESE MESSAGES. I kept calling and the calls kept getting forwarded. I had been told by the two reps earlier that the location puts the phones on forward when they are busy. I arrived at the store at about 1 PM. There was one other customer there, who was looking at boxes. I didn't consider that the store was busy. So, for six hours I was in great distress wondering if I was going to get my important attache back. It made the experience very unpleasant overall. It would have taken only a few minutes for someone at the store to read the messages, look in the cab of the truck for my attache, find it easily, and call me to put my mind at ease. So, in summation, due to the failure of anyone to take the effort to assure me that the attache was still in that truck and all I had to do was come and get it, the experience was quite stressful. That fact makes me doubt I will use U-Haul again, particularly that location.

We have rented many trucks over the last few years and this time the roll-up door was extra hard to pull down. In fact it rolled all the way up one time and the latch got stuck above the open door of the truck and we had to have someone help us dislodge it. When we returned the truck, a U-haul employee showed us how to keep the roll-up door from going all the way up to the top,so that is helpful for next time.

We ordered a trailer early in the morning of the day we were going to use it. We were told we could pick it up at noon. I agreed to the noon pick up and we arrived at noon to find that the only trailer in the size that I ordered had a flat tire. They offered us a smaller trailer and luckily we were able to get everything into that trailer. You would have thought that in the 3 hours that they had, they could have gotten the trailer we originally asked for ready.
