Computers did work app was not letting me do pick up The agent got all backed up He needed to use his phone to check me out I would have bought supplies there but didn’t feel comfortable they would be able to check me out

The running lights didn’t work and when making a trip to Nashville and driving until 2am, it wasn’t great to realize this when you’re in Atlanta and still have over 4 hours to go and having to drive through the turns of the hills in Tennessee with cars and 18 wheelers flying up on you since they couldn’t see us from behind. I called the help line and the suggestion was to pullover and wait around 11pm in the middle of north Georgia and having no idea if it was a safe area or not. Luckily we made it without any incidents but I strongly suggest if you ever rent be sure you check the lights turn on, not just turn signals and brake lights, which is all they tested when I picked it up.

The only problem at drop off was they did not process the drop off. U-Haul called me the next day telling me where I’m supposed to bring and I said I already dropped it off. Where did you drop it off and I wasn’t sure of the location and then they were just like well we’ll try to find it somewhere.

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had with Uhaul and I am constantly moving and have several cross country trips using your equipment. It is insane that I booked a trailer over 3 weeks in advance and when it was time to pick up the unit I had to travel over an hour to pick it up! I also had the worst customer experience on the phone when trying to find another location that the representative literally CANCELLED my reservation completely! I believe her name was Christine and clearly she is not well versed in geography as the location she kept telling me was only 12 miles away was across Tampa Bay so unless the trailer could float, this was not a feasible option! Next time I move I will be seeking out a different company!

Upper 4x4 units are dangerous and inconvenient. I had 2 bicycles to store. Lost lots of property due to this inconvenience. Luckily, some employees there were very helpful to me.

Switched to this location day prior which was an additional hour of driving to get there. My order for moving supplies was not transferred from the other store. So had to work through that confusion of moving supplies what I ordered what I didn’t. What was canceled and what will be refunded. The lady working there was nice and helpful but just extra steps for not good reason. Truck was under half full of gas. I’m sorry but a 2000 dollar rental, and you can’t drive it to my preferred pick up location and you can’t fill it with gas. Making every other rental company I have used look really good.

My hitch was too low causing the toung to tip too far down. I had to go buy another hitch even though you sold them. They should have seen the issue and recommended a different hitch. I also had a tire blow out 5 miles before my destination which was quite frustrating to have to wait an hour for road service.

Good afternoon, I'm giving it less than one star. I don't recommend it to anyone. They told me it had 260 miles and when I arrived to return the truck, they told me I only had 160. After paying $185, they charged me $250 more. They are scammers and I don't recommend coming to the store. 2309 Angel Oliva Street in Tampa has the worst service of all. The workers are disrespectful and have no education. The truth is that I don't recommend anyone renting a vehicle since there are many misleading things.

I want to provide extremely positive feedback on Brent who works at the Angel Olivia Senior St location in Ybor, Tampa, FL. Some context is that we had just endured a grueling 24 hr U-haul ride (meant to be 16 hrs) The U-haul was completely full, in the back and in the cabin, cramped with 2 cats, 2 adults, & also towing a car. We were not being able to get into my apt on the move-in day because the lease consultant said she would not stay a minute past 4, so we had to find a hotel during one of the busiest weekends in Tampa. Not fun to hear after you just pulled a few all-nighters, moving 6 large states away, and uprooting your whole life. We finally found one but then had to rush to get into the apt the very next day because the apt worker said they would not stay past 1:30. Well we barely got to the apt in time but when we did, we got a wave into the parking lot from a U-Haul worker across the street. We pulled in and started to explain what had happened and the stress we had after pulling a few all-nighters and needing to return the truck the very next day to another location. Without hesitation, he offered us an extra day, even though we hadn’t asked directly, “oh you need an extra day? we got you”. He also made it possible for us to return the truck at that same location, so close to my apt building, without us directly doing any extra work or paperwork. He also pointed out a huge safety issue with the tow. None of these things he had to do, let alone waving us into the parking lot. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion of moving to a brand new, beautiful city was turned into a nightmare before meeting Brent. His attitude and up beat attitude started to turn it all around. From the perspective of myself owning my own businesses, customer service, going the extra mile, and frankly just treating others like you want to be treated, you have a true A+ employee. I hope he gets the recognition and compensation he deserves because if he acts even half as well as he did on this day, on the daily, then he is invaluable and you should be immensely proud.

24/7 pickup doesnt work on vans, it doesnt say that anywhere on website or app. Guy told me it is 10foot truck only, which i dont understand what is the difference. App let me reserve any time slot. I would like a refund per ur policy since that wasnt met. The guy told me we dont do that. Truck was clean and nice and return guy was super nice.

I rented the van and used it a half a day for 5 miles and you charge me $108 it says in your rental agreement 100 miles is included. It doesn’t say you’re going to charge me 100 miles or $89. It’s ridiculous. You guys suck.

Some safety concerns. They took a picture of the chains looking like they were hooked up to protect themselves, then just hooked them back to the trailer instead of finding appropriate caribineers or something to fit my holes.. The trailer uses very tightly bent s hooks that wouldnt fit through my holes. Plus the negative feedback about the citrus park install.. Not happy.

The only thing that bothered me is that we were charged for fuel and we returned it at exactly where we picked it up. I do realize that we should have taken a picture, but we were scrambling for time as we were originally picking up a trailer and we couldn't get the lights to work so we changed to a truck. When we returned the truck, the guy didn't tell us we were being charged for fuel. I would say that although I didn't take a pic, when the person that checked in the truck when it was returned didn't put the fuel down accurately. So I am being charged for fuel that U Haula didn't even incur any costs.

This is a real U-Haul location and not a side business for someone (which can be unpredictable to rent from as far as customer service and vehicle availability). Check out was smooth and self check in was easy. Love the local roosters and chickens roaming around (I'm not from Tampa).

The loading dock height made it very difficult transferring items from car or truck onto dollies. The keypads to access the elevator and on the elevator were completely frustrating, required multiple sign-ins each time they were used (back and forth on/off the elevator). Then the unit was down endless halls because only one elevator was accessible. I couldn't wait to get out of here and to another facility for more, less expensive and more accessible space. BUT that being said, I have always been a happy U-haul customer renting vehicles and will continue to do so. Just not a fan of this storage facility.

Staff is beyond excellent. Building is gorgeous, nice and cool inside, and super clean. The pull-up docks make moving im and out super simple. Only negative is that the elevator is relatively small (not even tall), so not everything will fit in if you have something really oversized. Did I mention how great the staff is here? Overall, thos site / staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

Rat droppings and roaches were in my AC paid storage unit that ate out things, no food was even in the storage!!! This facility used to be top notched, the last 4 years was not good. Would never come back if I needed a storage unit again due to the rodents.

Miscommunication, no one knows anything that you tell them. Even though you use the u-haul app. It doesn't matter if you use it right and then you walk in the establishment. The staff members were always incredibly rude no matter who I spoke to. My card never worked to get into the building and my code had to change constantly which was frustrating. The elevators were often under maintenance and roaches in my unit. The monthly rate went up to a price that was unaffordable for a small unit and much higher than other storage facilities. Just overall very disappointed with my time here.

I came on Friday so my unit was ready when my movers come on Monday (7/31). It took awhile for them to find my reservation since I booked through corporate Uhaul it was not in their system. They were friendly and helpful the whole time. Since I was there over an hour they graciously gave me my first month free! I wish there was a light in the unit. It is dark. There was also a rodent box in the unit. It makes me worried but what can I do now? I am just hopeful it is not needed and my furniture etc will be safe from pests. This is my first storage experience - so far it has been great!

my unit was infested with cockroaches. I have pictures of feces, urine and dead cockroaches all over my stuff it took two weeks of exterminators, cleaning, and disposing of a lot of my things. is there someone to contact to open a claim? this was the worst experience I've ever had. I've never seen anything like this, I found at least 20 dead ones, 10 live ones, and everything I owned had poop and pee on it. How can you allow people to use your facility? there is no way this only happened to me and that you had no knowledge your storage units have this problem. I know its an old building but come on!

Elevator malfunctioning while moving in. Some of my items were locked inside the elevator and I couldn't access them. When elevator started working my belongings were moved to a floor where I didn't have access. Some of my items went missing and when I talked associates there. They only told me to contact the claims department without attempting to look into the issue .

The above average is due to staff going above and beyond to make sure we found a perfect storage unit even though they didn't have any available. The sizes are confusing on the website. I booked a unit for 2 rooms. I got there to find out that it was the size of a bathroom. Not sure wht 2 rooms are that size but okay. I was refunded my full amount without issues. The building is ridiculously old as well and we got stuck in the elevator and the intercom to call for help wasn't working.

Kevin is awesome—the definition of a great property manager. Building is tired—lots of termite droppings from active swarming and plenty of dead palmetto bugs when I moved out were hiding in and around my stuff—and they didn’t ride in on my stuff—this property needs better pest control, but it is Florida after all. The elevator was finally repaired after what seemed like 2+ years of issues. Uhaul always pulled my money out on time.

The only reason why I gave the rating I gave is when I moved out 11/20/21 I saw a pair of work boots chewed on some boxes chewed on ( saw that when I got some time to look at it) but when I was done moving out the storage and cleaning it I saw rat droppings some dead roaches. And I know its rate because moving in the storage I had to tell one of the employees that a dolly had rat droppings on it. But I already paid for my storage. I didn't complain (I should have because I paid for the insurance) but I didn't have time to i was moving between shifts at work.

I really did have a good experience using this facility. The only thing that I wish they would look into is a bigger elevator with AC. It’s like oxygen countdown once those doors close and I had a bit of a hard time getting my couch inn. But outside of that I have no complaints. The staff was great and helpful.

Upon arriving, there was a long line because there were only two store employees and one was on lunch. I easily waited 30 minutes before being helped. However, I didn’t mind because I was acknowledged and told I would be helped as soon as possible. Once I was helped, I was able to have the promotion honored and get my unit free for a month since I rented a truck which was super helpful because I just moved from Indiana. Since I was able to save money on storage that allowed me to be able to allocate those funds towards other expenses. Lastly, since there was only one employee working the store he couldn’t show me where my unit was but he told me to come back if I couldn’t find it. I attempted to find my unit but had no idea how to get to it since it was 102, a ground unit. However, I ran into mech 1, I believe, and she took me to my unit. I really appreciated how every employee even those not working in the store were super helpful and to me that’s what made my visit above average!

The issue is your outdated facility, the elevator broke down as we were starting, turning a one hour unload into a 3.5 hour job that cost over $350.00. After a delightful experience picking up the truck and a very nice driving experience to Florida, the unloading spoiled the entire experience.

However I rented a truck from them for my move , they gave it to me early, with only a little under a quarter tank and told me it was full. I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip. I feel that I deserve a adjustment of 60 dollars.

Just one staff member was rude when a uhaul truck blocked me in and I asked for help he said he get to it later. Well I wanted to go home made no sense for him to block me in and leave.

I paid on my storage unit for a about 1 plus years..I went back to pick my things up and found all my belongings was damage my rats and water...Iost everything my one bedroom apartment.. my clothes
